This house was in the perfect spot in the middle of Carlsbad. The property was very clean and Brett supplied a few house supplies like laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, etc. to help start out. We stayed for 9 days and he was very helpful, quick responses if we had questions! It’s a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were nice to talk too. We enjoyed the backyard and the pac man game!

What a great house! We had six adults and used this spot as a home base for our day trips to Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Peak, and White Sands. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we loved the fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great running trail nearby. Would absolutely recommend this house!

This is a great place if you're an outdoor person. It's super convenient to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. It's a very comfortable place to come back to in the evenings after a day of hiking and activities and the bed in the master suite will give you a good night's sleep. The owner is very responsive and access to the house is easy. The garage is a big plus. There's lots of choices or good Mexican cuisine and an Albertson's Market for those who like to have meals in.

Very clean, well equipped with all you need for your Carlsbad base! Great location for exploring the sights with comfy beds and a nice patio to relax in the evening. Worked perfect for two couple traveling together.

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable house! The beds were very nice and it was peaceful and quiet. The video game machine and the ping pong table were enjoyed by all.

We enjoyed the house but were so busy we were only there to sleep.

The bathroom shower curtains need to be replaced. Need more bath towels. Need more board games. Puzzle was incomplete. Beds were clean and comfy. Overall experience was great!

This home is the perfect stay in Carlsbad and a great jumping off point for the national parks and all the area has to offer. House was great. Plenty of space and the ping pong and Pac-Man were added bonuses for our kids. Highly recommend.

Our group was 2 families which included 3 teenagers. This house was very nice and comfortable. Loved that it had 2 king sized beds for adults. The neighborhood is close to stores and restaurants and about a 30 minute drive to Carlsbad Cavern National Park. Owners were very communicative and provide a lovely home away from home. Nice backyard sitting area and extra fun with a ping pong table and Pac-Man.

The house was very clean and in nice shape. We really enjoyed our stay while visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Everything was as described on the listing and we were very comfortable. Wish we would have had more time in the area.

The location is prefect for visiting the National Parks. We went to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains which are about 30-45 minutes away. Also took with 3 hour trip to White Sands which was over the mountains and a beautiful drive! Spent an interesting afternoon in Roswell too. Overall the house was very nice. Very clean. The guest bathroom is small but worked well for one couple, might be a bit small if needed to use it with two couples. The master bedroom is large and the two extra bedrooms are a good size for a VRBO house. The extra king bed is nice although it makes the bedroom small and nowhere to put your suitcase. The closets had hanging organizers that were good to use since no where to keep the open suitcase. No hangers. The beds were firm but not hard. Several different types of pillow to choose from. The kitchen has lots of plates and bowls and cups. Love that they had plastic cups! We did not get to enjoy the outdoor area much as it was cold and windy. However the area needed to have some lawn maintenance. This is in a neighborhood so noise from others (mostly dogs) is to be expected but able to enjoy a nice walk on the sidewalks. No walking distance restaurants however the location is not far from the main road where almost all things are located. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Well worth the money.

The property was better than we expected! Exceptionally clean, cozy, comfortable and the host thought of everything we would need. The kids loved playing ping pong and Pac-Man. A perfect homebase for families exploring Carlsbad and Guadalupe mountains NP. Would definitely return!!

This property is as advertised. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary dishes, utensils and pots and pan. The non-stick pans were actually non-stick which unfortunately is not true in many properties we have rented. If your visiting Carlsbad Cavern or Guadeloupe National Park, Carlsbad is really the closest place to stay, and this location is perfect. In addition, you are a short drive from Albertson's which is an excellent grocery store. I would stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

The home was very nice and close to Carlsbad National park. Playing Pacman was fun. The home was nicely appointed. Nice sized house for a family of 4. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect for the whole family, kids loved it! Very clean, had everything we needed. Stores were close for anything else we needed. Close to all the activities we had planned. We had a perfect trip! Only oddity was a loud beeping noise that would go off outside in the backyard every 3 minutes after 11:15pm 🤷🏻‍♀️

The house was very spacious for our family of 5 and provided an excellent location for going out to dinner and trips to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains. The north side of town appeared much nicer and was worth the extra 10 minute drive. Red Chimney BBQ, Lucky Bull Grill, and Yellow Brix were all very good dining experiences. Carlsbad Waterpark was also an excellent (and inexpensive) diversion for a scorching New Mexico afternoon. This home is clearly a well-established rental and met all of our needs. The backyard area could use some TLC, however that didn’t impact our trip given the 100+ degree evenings. We would certainly choose to stay here again.

We selected this property as the first stop in a weeklong New Mexico Road trip. The property really set a high mark for the rest of our trip. Accurate online information. The property is just lovely. It is well appointed and very clean . It is conveniently located for dining nearby and traveling to Carlsbad caverns. Loved it!!
