Très très surcôté

La situation de l’hôtel est vraiment très bien. Les chambres sont propres. Les équipements de plage sont plus confortables que dans les établissements devant lesquels nous sommes passés. Il y a des golfettes électriques pour vous amener aux chambres, qui sont plutôt éloignées de la plage, ce qui fait plaisir aux enfants et aux flemmards.

C’était la haute saison, d’accord. C’est sur une île, c’est plus cher. Mais payer 200€ par chambre laisse penser que l’établissement aurait porté une attention particulière aux détails. Il n’en est rien : l’insonorisation des bungalows est catastrophique. On entend les voisins comme s’ils étaient là. L’eau de la douche se transformait parfois en petit filet d’eau sans prévenir. L’eau ne s’écoulait pas dans le bac de douche et inondait toute la salle de bain. La villa pour 4 n’a qu’une seule salle de bain. Certains transats sur la plage étaient cassés, les matelas pleins de taches de moisi, nous avons même passé une matinée sans serviette de piscine car il n’y en avait plus une seule. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais pas un seul jus de fruit frais et des produits de qualité relative. Lorsqu’on paye 200€ la nuit, tous ces détails agacent franchement. La moitié du prix aurait pu effacer cette impression.

Tolle Lage, Anlage aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen

Sehr freundliches Personal, offenes Restaurant zum Strandbereich, leckeres Frühstücksbüffet, großer Garten

Matratzen sehr hart und steif - ging nur mit Topper, Bungalows sehr hellhörig, im Pool fehlten an mehreren Stellen die Fliesen, Restaurant zu teuer

Definitiv nicht wieder!

Die Küche und sehr zuvorkommende Zimmermädchen…

Das Team der Rezeption - 3 Tage kein Internet, Safe funktionierte nicht, klar die Batterie war leer, Terassentürschloss beschädigt…und dazu brachte man uns dann noch zum falschen Pier bei der Rückreise. Erneut Kosten für die Fähre, Bus weg - Mehrkosten von fast 110 Dollar für 2 Personen. Unschönes Ende.

Great Hotel for beach relaxation with good price / value

Very nice Resort at a very remote beach. Beautiful place with great pool, amazing beach access with super white sand, beautifully lightened garden and friendly staff. Beds are hard, but we did not experience them as rock hard as some people are writing here. We hope the island stays as it is as a true gemstone for remote relaxation and the deforestation of the island stopps!

Breakfast could be a little bit more diverse / rich in choices. Prices in the restaurant are high (but not completely off) - thus making the restaurant often very empty. Not sure if this is the sweet spot for the hotel.

Beautiful Pool, Great Location, Horribly uncomfortable beds

Pool area was beautiful and very close to the water. Beautiful views. Staff was friendly.

Bed was rockhard, basically like sleeping on a wooden board. My husband and I were so uncomfortable we tried to pad it with an extra blanket and some of the pool towels. We even asked for extra padding which housekeeping accommodated but was still uncomfortable. At first I thought the room mistakenly didnt have a bed and only the lower box but I guess it was actually the bed. The room itself was decent but nothing special. I think this hotel was one of the best on the island but I wouldnt say it was luxurious. Sanloem itself is just very small with not much to do, and not many accommodations so I think this hotel did a good job overall. Everything was fine except the bed.

L’équipe qui s’est démenée pour nous, merci encore! L’hôtel est très propre ainsi que la piscine et la plage, un petit coin de paradis.

La literie est un peu dure mais on s’y fait et le prix du restaurant est élevé comparé à ce qu’il y a aux alentours.

Great for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

Really beautiful hotel. The pool-area was amazing, and right by the beach. A la carte breakfast was very good. Staff were service-oriented and friendly. Would recommend staying here!

Walls between the rooms are very thin, so we could hear everything in the next room’s bathroom when we were in our bathroom. Bikes should be fixed. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing - would help if only the food was part of the buffet and waiters brought coffee/tea and juice to the table. Otherwise it is a long walk from the buffet to the terrace.

We had a great time on the island.

We had a room with a private pool which was fantastic and much cooler than the main pool. The al a carte breakfast which was included was really good. The location of the resort was great and the resort was definitely the best on the island.

It was very hard to communicate with the staff but that's what happens when you travel.

beautiful oasis of a hotel on a stunning beach

this hotel is truly stunning. a beautiful oasis set on a breath taking beachfront. the beds are the comfiest I have slept in whilst visiting Cambodia - we slept so soundly. the rooms are kept very clean and the staff are all so friendly. breakfast buffet has a good variety and the room service was a lovely additional extra.

the restaurant is extremely over priced even by western standards - $8 for fries?! and the food quality is not consistent. some staff also seemed quite undertrained. it would have also been nice to have a proper check in with an introduction to the island I.e. what there is to see/do. we didn’t even realise they had a scuba school until the last day.

The Best hotel on the island, the places is beautiful lovely clean rooms, loved getting a bicycle from the room down to beach, staff were so friendly it's was a lovely stay

Amazing staff, excellent food , great pool - large & on the beach , great location - lots of local restaurants were a short walk down the beach . Beach in front of hotel was great for swimming

Beach paradise

The room was beautiful and we had a private plunge pool. Great since the regular pool closed so early. We used the plunge pool every day! The regular pool was very clean and maintained. And the grounds were beautiful. We watched the butterflies on all the flowers. The buffet breakfast was great

The bed was hard as a rock and the room were surprisingly far from the resort. Initially we got a golf cart ride up the hill to our room but after that we walked back and forth.

Lovely stay but not worth the money

The private pool villa was lovely, especially over the festive period. The bed was really comfortable, clean and spacious. They were accommodating for pick up and drop off for the ferry.

For the price you are paying, the service didn’t reflect 5 star pricing. The staff seemed under trained and it was confusing who worked there due to different style uniforms or none at all. The price of food and drink was comparably very expensive to other resorts or the shop. There was no vegan food available, although they had it indicated on their food menus. No spa, although spa’s were available further down the beach.

Great location. Great beach. Nice resort. Great Breakfast.

The place could be so much better with a proper management. Stuff missed proper training and was hard to communicate with in English. Missing Gym. You can get way better food down the beach.

top class island resort luxury

facilities, location, pool. great staff, beautifully appointed rooms. courtesy bikes to ride around the resort were great! perfectly located midway on Saracen Bay, easy walk to other resorts for other great restaurants. free kayaks and SUP’s but time mostly spent by the incredible pool.

only thing is the rooms are set back so there’s no beachfront or beach view room options.
