About this apartment rental

This beautiful, partially renovated apartment is located in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, just in front of the small fishing pier and next to the Plaza de Charco (center of Puerto de la Cruz).

The property is on the seafront and has spectacular views towards the Atlantic Sea, by large windows of the living room and from the balcony of the property. A show that never tires your eyes.

The kitchen is open concept. Fully equipped with vitro, oven, etc. It was completely renovated in 2016 next to the bathroom.

The house is tastefully decorated, with a comfortable quality sofa (it is also a sofa bed if more than two tenants come or when two tenants come who want to sleep separately). The living room floor is parquet.

The property is located in the Bahía Building, on a 5th floor with elevator. The attic, above the property is the same owners and is currently out of use.

This apartment has the most amazing views, right on the little harbour and beach in the old town of Puerto de la Cruz. The photos of the property do not actually do it justice in relation to the overall size of the apartment, it is in reality, larger than the photos indicate.

Lejligheden er perfekt til 2 personer ligger lige rigtig godt placeret. Vejret var ikke det bedste, da vi var der, kunne godt have haft brug for en form for opvarmning.

Wonderful location

The apartment enjoys a marvelous view of the harbour with its small beach and surrounding 18th century buildings. A balcony allows you to sit out to enjoy the view and some morning sunshine. The location is also right next to the bustling Plaza del Charco and a plethora of restaurants and bars. A 5 to 10 minutes walk takes you along the popular sea front to the Lago Martinez with its complex of outdoor swimming pools also ideal for sunbathing or just looking at the sea. The entrance fee is a reasonable 5.50 euros per person. The apartment itself was clean and plenty big enough for one couple and equipped with everything we needed. There are always one or two things to moan about, as with all apartments especially when it's in an aging apartment block but there's little to detract from the location and the view. Bear in mind that the location is a popular tourist attraction so, of course, it's busy and often noisy.

Die Wohnung hat eine einfache Möblierung, ist aber ausreichend.Fernsehen leider nur auf Spanisch.Ein Manko hat die Wohnung. Die Elektrik ist nicht in Ordnung. Man sollte sich überlegen was morgens wichtiger ist denn bei 2angeschalteten Geräten springt die Sicherung raus.Duschen und den Herd oder gar noch den Wasserkocher an, das geht nicht.Durch die zentrale Lage ist es natürlich lauter als in abgelegenen Wohnungen. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch. Sogar vom Balkon aus kann man das Leben auf der Straße beobachten. Wir hoffen nur dass das Haus recht bald saniert wird, denn es ist in einem recht schlechten Zustand. Da wir aber von morgens bis abends unterwegs waren hat , hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Puerto de la Cruz ist immer wieder eine Reise wert.

Schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung ist so wie beschrieben und für zwei Personen günstig geschnitten. Die Einrichtung ist nicht die Neueste, aber es ist alles in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden (Backofen, Mikrowelle, Geschirr, Handtücher aller Art, Bettwäsche, Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, ...) Mit dem Fahrstuhl kann man in den 5. Stock fahren, von wo aus einem der Hafen und die Promenade zu Füßen liegen. Auf dem großzügigen Nordost-Balkon ist fast immer Schatten und etwas Wind, auch wenn es unten auf der Straße heiß und stickig ist. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten kann man zu Fuß drei Supermärkte, mehrere Bäcker, viele Läden, Bars, Restaurants und den Busbahnhof erreichen. Im Hafenbecken direkt vor der Haustür kann man baden. Die zentrale Lage ist aber mit einer erheblichen Geräuschkulisse verbunden, die nicht nur auf dem Balkon, sondern auch innerhalb der Wohnung in allen Räumen permanent zu hören ist, weil die Alu-Schiebefenster so gut wie keinen Schallschutz bieten. Die Bars unterhalb des Schlafzimmerfensters haben bis nachts um 2, am Wochenende bis 4 oder 5 Uhr geöffnet, wobei die Tische alle draußen stehen. Ab 6 Uhr morgens kommen die Straßenreinigungsmaschinen (Metall auf Kopfsteinpflaster) und der Autoverkehr setzt wieder ein. Ab 8 Uhr beginnt der Betrieb in den Bars und Restaurants, der dann bis nachts um 2 Uhr geht, usw. Auf dem Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hafen und dem ca. 200m Luftlinie entfernt liegenden Europaplatz finden Feste statt (Jahrmarkt, Oktoberfest, Karneval,...), deren Musik und Lautsprecheransagen ungebremst auf den 5. Stock treffen. Dazu kommt das stetige Rauschen des Meeres, je nach Wellengang sanft bis heftig. Fazit Sie: Unbedingt Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, um schlafen zu können. Ich bin eher geräuschempfindlich und würde das nächste Mal außerdem einen Gehörschutz ("Mickey-Mäuse") einpacken, um zwischendurch mal Ruhe zu haben. Fazit Er: Ich genoss die zentrale Lage, das "every day" Leben rundherum und den großartigen Wimmelbild-Blick vom Balkon. Die Begeisterung darüber überwog die Geräuschkulisse. Gerne wieder.

The apartment is set high above the fishing port at Puerto de la Cruz with a wonderful view from the balcony over the harbour and streets, and from the side windows right up to the mountains and over the town centre. The block is right in the centre of the best area of the town and is just a step or two away from the restaurants and bars of the main square, from a very helpful and well-stocked supermarket and only a few minutes from the older part of town with its less frantic pace as well as the main shopping area further east. The apartment itself is clean, very tidy, newly renovated and comfortable. The owner is exceptionally helpful. There is of course a price to pay for being at the epicentre of the town, and that is the noise which seems to climax very early in the morning! If you want a peaceful slumber, undisturbed by inebriated drinkers (or by the stacking of chairs and tables after the drinkers have at last gone home), then take some earplugs. We thought the price was a small one to pay for the fabulous location and the quality of the apartment. Thanks Erica!

Good value accommodation in an excellent location

We were generally very pleased with the flat and regarded it as good value for money. It had all the essential equipment and fittings and was clean. The location next to the harbour was excellent with shops, restaurants etc. nearby. The one downside was that the location was inclined to be noisy at night, particularly when there was an amusement fair for several days of our stay.

Inizierei la mia recensione ringraziando Erika persona molto disponibile e paziente visto che ci ha aspettato avendo ritardato per 4 ore, a causa di un blocco in autostrada, per la consegna delle chiavi. L'appartamento è situato al quinto piano di un edificio molto carino in pieno centro a pochissimi metri dalla piazza principale gode di ina vista magnifica sulu mare, appartamento ottimo per due persone con camera bagno sala e cucina tutto tenuto molto bene e pulito, se ritorneremo a Puerto de la Cruz sicuramente vorremo alloggiare ancora in questo appartamento.

Keurige uitleg en ontvangst door Erica. Duidelijke uitleg over wat er te doen is. Ruime parkeergelegenheid. Zeer compleet ingericht appartement. Alles wat je nodig hebt (en zelfs wat je niet nodig hebt) is aanwezig. Fantastischuitzicht. Goede uitvalsbasis om het noorden van Tenerife te ontdekken. Centraal in de oude stad. Alles op loopafstand in een autoluw voetgangersgebied. Echt top! Eén klein minpuntje is dat die schuiframen niet echt geluidsdicht zijn. Tip: Granier voor koffie en (zoete) broodjes.

L'appartamento è confortevole e in ottima posizione. Per chi lo raggiunge in auto, vi è un grande parcheggio gratuito (cosa non di poco conto in questa città) a meno di 100 mt. dall'abitazione. Essendo posto in pieno centro, dietro la piazza principale, la camera da letto può risultare un po' rumorosa nonostante i doppi vetri. E' sufficiente spostarsi in sala per sentire il solo rumore dell'oceano la cui vista, dal balcone, è meravigliosa. Siamo stati benissimo! Grazie Erica.

Excellent location, well equipped apartment with WiFi. We came to Tenerife to go trekking & the apartment was 5/6 minutes from from great bus service. Resturants were great & suited "all pockets" we would definately book it again. Street noise was a slight problem at weekends
