House was exactly as I expected a n older beach bungalow! Property was very clean upon arrival and communication from the renting company was on point! The only issue for me was the pool area! I believe the outdoor area could be better maintained and the pool a bit bigger other than that the stay was as expected!

Property has everything I needed to build memories. The communication with property manager was efficient and effective. The pool description needs to be revised as its picture listed makes it look like a normal size pool.

The landscaping was in poor condition. The tiki bar area was very dirty. The inside was pretty clean. Little hand prints and some dried food on walls around dining table. Bathrooms were neat and clean. The pictures of the pool were much better than the actual look of the pool. It was listed as a 3 bedroom but it didn't tell you that you had to go through the master bedroom or through a backdoor to get to the bunk room. The location was the best part. Only 2 blocks to the gorgeous beach!

The stay was great and it was in a beautiful area house was really nice, lots of shopping centers and beach is a 2 minute walk the one complaints I have is the back yard and pool where not as looked on pictured the pool is so tiny the kids couldn’t really enjoy it but overall a fun house and very beautiful! Thank y’all

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! House was clean and more spacious than we thought..kitchen was fully stacked with all your needs. Bed was comfortable- we didn’t need the other rooms but it was nice to spread out…. Great location !

We booked our stay after reading all of the reviews, looking at other properties and knowing we wanted somewhere that would be dog friendly. Check in process was easy! We arrived and it was clean and just as the photos and listing described. It was less than 3 blocks from the beach, we could easily get around and be close to everything. Only things I wish we would have done- asked about the automatic lock to ensure we were working it properly or asked for more information on the pool heater! We came at a time where the weather took a deep dive and the heater may have made it a little better! Other than that- we loved our stay and would stay again!

Pool was dirty upon arrival, too dorty the whole stay that I wasnt able to even use it. Thebathrooms were not clean as they should be, i found a dirty used razor and wrappers and hair next to one of the sinks. The pool area had toys and stuff from previous guests maybe that were all ober. There was a broken pool chair lodged in the privacy fence. The patio area was very samdy and dirty asid the previous tenants did not clean it off properly and neither did the house cleaners apparently. A fewof the pitside loghts seemed not to work also. For what I paid it was not worth the stay at all. Very disappointed. Pool should be clean and ready for any tenant at the beginning of any stay and the gouse should be clean, clean. Dirty used razors lating around is disgusting and hazardous.

My husband and our 4 children stayed here for vacation. The beach was a convenient short walk away, as well as being close to shopping and restaurants. The private pool at the home got used by our four children every day, as well as the outdoor tv and grill. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay & I would recommend for small families. I read the info given in property details & reviews before I booked so I knew the layout of the house was odd& I knew the pool was small- but it was perfect for us. For the price we paid in cleaning fees, I expected the property to be immaculate & it was not. It was very tidy, but there was sand all over the floors throughout the house & some dark liquid under the entrance dining table & in bathroom. I don't mind cleaning but not when I arrive somewhere that was supposed to be cleaned for me. I traveled with my husband, my 2 year old & our dogs. The layout is odd, but I've lived in old houses my entire life & am used to it. This house has 5 entry/exit doors. The living room area is small, it worked for us but if you had more adults it would not be the most comfortable watching tv. The bedroom with the king bed is attached to the bunk room. So whoever is sleeping in the bunk room either needs to go through the king room to get to the rest of the house, including a bathroom or they need to exit one of 2 entry doors in that room to go outside & around to one of the other entrances. Bunk room has window unit that needs cleaning. There are no tubs. The kitchen was great & had everything you would need, but you need salt, pepper, etc. For dog owners, the backyard is fenced but has a few holes they could possibly get out if not watching & they had sago palms. But it is lovely & perfect location. Short walk to beach!

We were very happy with our stay. The house was very nice and had everything that we needed for a week vacation. Meaning towels, dishes and facilities. The beach is a short walk from the house. The grocery store is within 2 miles from the house. Make sure that you read the information regarding the house is only supplied with enough items to get you started before you need to go to the store. Meaning, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dish soap are provided to get you started. We had a wonderful time at this property. Hopefully this house stays here for a very long time.

Great for the kids. The gated pool was nice so the little ones could still play in the backyard with out worrying so much. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad but do recommend bringing a wagon to help carry all the things. Beach was great!

Property was perfect for our needs, kitchen had plenty of space for 2 families between cooking, storage, and kids in and out. Pool and outside were also perfect for our kids (all 8 and under), there is also plenty of hang out space outside as well as an area for corn hole, which the kids loved. Location was amazing, short walk to the beach which was nice when the younger kids needed to head back to the house for a nap. We had a wonderful trip and have no complaints about the house or booking/management interactions. A good pick for families with younger kids!

Good points: Great location! Just a couple of blocks from beach…the house was enough to sleep 11 of us….served our needs well…. Bad points: the pictures does not reflect actual sizes of pool, yard, or kitchen. All 3 were smaller than the pictures…..the check in was awful! I called to let the property know our ETA. They couldn’t guarantee an early check in but would try..this would not have been an issue however after waiting at the property for 2 hours waiting for the code, they told us they were waiting on the maintenance man to do a walk through…he NEVER showed and we received the code at 4pm…..they should’ve just told us they do not honor early check ins. Lastly, the fold out couch in the back room with the bunk beds needs to be replaced. It sleeps AWFUL.

We stayed here for our wedding/honeymoon and it was perfect. Only thing to note is the pool is extremely small but we knew that going into it. Overall great house to stay at, would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time to the Destin area and we throughly enjoyed our vacation. The beach was a short walk away and was beautiful. The sand was powdery soft and white. The water was crystal clear and emerald green. The bungalow was cute and met our needs. We had an issue with one of the showers but they were responsive and had a repair guy come the next morning. We had our fur babies with us and they enjoyed the fenced backyard. Grocery stores are nearby and many nice restaurants to choose from. We would rent here again.

We loved our stay at Chrystal Beach! It was a short walk to the public beach access and our four-legged family members loved the fenced in back yard area. We will definitely look in to booking this rental again in the future!

So very clean, well stocked a brief walk to the ocean! Little paradise! Beds were incredibly comfy. Did I mention how clean it was:) Toilet stopped working and they were there immediately to fix! Would stay here again and I am pretty particular!

Great location walking distance to the beach. Brand new barbecue grill and outdoor table for 6 to enjoy patio dining. Enclosed yard was fun for our schnauzer to explore. Comfortable, clean with a good interior layout. Highly recomend!

We love the Dolphin St home it is perfect for our family. We have stayed here 5 times now but this time has been 10 years since last. We brought our 2 yr old grandson and he had a great time. Hope to return again!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much, I thought it was very clean except for the 2 rugs (family room and bunk room) and ottoman in front of the couch.. but who sleeps on an ottoman?😀 I thought it was a very nice renovated home that made it much more quaint than all the huge new homes around the area that all look alike.. we loved the yard, no steps and 1 level. The front & back yard (fenced in areas) were maintained beautifully. Pool was smaller but I saw several the same size. It was fine for us because we mostly walked to the beach. My 4 grandchildren saw it and loved it. They were staying close by in a 3 story new home. As soon as they came to visit they wanted to stay all night! We made s’mores that evening and went crab hunting on the beach! A wonderful stay! Thank you!

This place was great. It was very clean and I’m a germ-phobe so that was important to me. There was a mini-thing of palm-olive, a couple dishwasher detergent packs, and even one pack of laundry detergent. I thought that was really nice. It’s really close to the beach, completely walkable, and there was even a little collapsing wagon in the back to help cart your stuff. The pool is TINY. You can really only fit two adults in there. And the grill was too dirty to use. But overall an absolutely fantastic place to stay, we’d definitely book there again.

Drove in from Texas. Email manager about possibly checking in early. Never responded. Finally called manager when we got to the property an hour early. Manager mention there was still paperwork to be signed. Finally sent them over to be signed. (could have been done long before arrival) There was a van, owned by property management, parked in the driveway. It was blocking any access to the property, even while we waited. We finally got checked in. Property was filthy, candy wrappers on the floor. Sand on the floor. One of the toilets had to be fixed by us so it would flush. Grill out back was filthy. Spent 2 hours cleaning so we could use it. There where a bunch of items left on the side of the house that needed to be discarded, cleaned or repaired like broken boogie boards, old bathing suits, various items that have been there for a long time collecting water. Outside TV was removed from the wall and left on the ground behind the bar. Bar area couldn't be used because of debris littering the corner. Swimming pool was barely big enough to accommodate 4 small kids.

Everything described on the listing was accurate and the location is ideal for a "one-block off beach" house. We recommend the cleaning crews scrub floors better and make sure the pool bottom gets vacuumed to remove sand, dirt and grass clippings.

My four children and I stayed at this property for an impromptu trip for spring break and had a wonderful experience. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, clean, and a super quick walk to the beach! I would absolutely recommend this home for families!
