Post was very nice and attentive always answered back. Property had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to many stores and university.

Ample room with tons of bed space and a huge backyard. The firepit in the back was especially nice. The house was kind of far from everything, which can be nice, but wasn't ideal. In general, the house was clean, but there were some places that looked dingy or in need of an additional cleaning.

The house was good but could not get most of the tvs to work..only 1 worked part of the time..with small children this unacceptable

First, as to the issue with bed bugs that were in prior reviews, there were absolutely no bugs in the house, other than one dead one in the smaller bedroom. My friend could not sleep in the bedroom with the exterior bath due to the very dark and unwelcoming colors of the bed and other furnishings. She slept on the couch. One bedroom has 2 twin beds and the other 2 have queens, this was not clear on the listing. Early School bus noise is an issue in this neighborhood.

The host and the home was spectacular, the home was clean and inviting. The response from the host was pleasant. I will most definitely stay here again on my trip back. I loved the stay!

We enjoyed our stay, was close to where we needed to go daily. Was clean and neighbors where very nice.

Day 1 i found a bed bug in the master bedroom. Then found another one on the wall. I messaged the host telling me to take pics of the bed bugs. I didnt take pics of the bed bugs. But I do have proof of bed bug bites on me and my husband. We ended up Sleeping on the couch for rest of our stay. On 07/10/2023 when leaving the property the City of High Point truck pulled up and said that the light bill was past due and it needed to be paid. I told them I didnt live there just renting the property. I messaged the host about the incident she never replied back. Very unprofessional.

This property looks just like the pics! We were very pleased with our short stay!! There was one minor issue that was corrected as soon as the owner was informed! Will definitely rent this property again next time we visit the area!✌

As we approached the property we noticed the grass wasn't cut. I drove up the drive way which is on an incline and the bottom of my car scraped the pavement. Upon leaving for the venue we were in town for, it scraped again. So I ended up having to park on the street. For the carpet in the living room was dirty and is covering a soft dip in the hard flooring. The walls are dirty as are the baseboards. Before unpacking I began spraying the home with disinfectant and my daughter found a cheetos bag under the mattress in the guest room. The sheets are very thin and cheap and there's loose plastic on the box springs. The bare minimum was put into the home with the exception of the appliances. The couch and bedroom furniture needs to be replaced. The home needs to be professionally painted and exterminated. My whole family was itching and I got big welts on my neck, back, arms and legs from unknown insects in the home. The bites aren't consistent with bed bugs. The night prior everyone stayed up half most of the night or half slept for fear of getting bitten even more. We arrived Friday to attend a convention that was taking place the entire weekend. We were so disappointed that we didn't even stay the 2nd night. We ended up leaving and driving back home after the Saturday session was over. We took our chances with driving while tired in order to not sleep there one more night. We just couldn't do it so we actually missed out on the final day of the convention.

Overall the property was not bad but there was a bug issue. I was bitten about 8 times and my husband was bitten 3 times and our 3 children were also bitten 2-3 times as well. The first few nights we were pretty busy doing things on our trip, but by the 4th night I noticed I was itching and I saw multiple bites. The next morning I contacted the property manager and Vrbo but there wasn’t anything that they could do. I think they’re probably in the couch because I did check the beds and I couldn’t find any. All of the bite areas have multiple tiny blister filled pockets which is typically present in bed bedbug bites. The bites are also in a line, which is also a common finding in bedbug bites. The unit didn’t look dirty, but also didn’t look clean. When we first get to any rental place or hotel I always check the beds for bugs. These beds barely looked made like whoever did it was in a huge rush or maybe kids? The property manager seemed nice but, they I hope they have this addressed before someone else rents this place. It needs to be exterminated by a professional that deals with bedbugs specifically and even then sometimes you can’t get rid of them. We still have our stuff in our extra family vehicle because I’m afraid to bring anything in our home. I hope we don’t end up with it now too. I think they should also consider hiring a professional to clean in between rentals after they get rid of the bugs . It’s really a great location and the house isn’t bad except the bug

Great stay overall, I did find two bed bugs before laying down on the mattress, I didn’t find anymore after that. The rest of the house seemed to be clean.

My son & I visited home for the weekend to see our friends and family. My mother stayed with us. We 3 had our own bed plenty of space. Didn't get to enjoy the back deck or fire pit. Even the people who stopped by loved the space & was overall comfortable. Looking forward to booking the property again.

Our stay at the property was fine. The beds were clean. We were locked out of the property (our fault) at night, reached out to home owner, but didn't hear back until approximately 24 hours later. We were forced to pay for a hotel for the night, which doubled our weekend costs.

The house was clean. Instructions for check in and check out were clear. If you are planning to cook you will need to bring what you want to cook with utensils and all. We struggled to cook with what was there. Also you may also want to bring some of your own towels for both bath and kitchen we barely had enough. There is a washing machine and dryer so that was nice. All and all it was a good experience for a couple day stay.

The location was great for the 2 weeks we spent in high point. Just minutes from everything, the neighbors in the area where super friendly. I would definitely come back and stay at this location.

The house could be cleaner and cookie sheets would be nice in the kitchen. They have them now because we bought and left behind for the next person. Other then that the stay was great.

I am so disappointed in staying at this location. The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There is dirt, stains, and residue on the floor, baseboards, walls, doors, countertops, and even the ceiling! The host claimed it was clean, but even my sheets smelled of cigarettes and needed to be washed! The linoleum floors have damage and are peeling and there’s a soft spot in the living room covered by a rug. On the beds, the thin flat mattresses are wrapped in plastic and the sheets are thin so whatever moisture comes off your body at night collects on the surface of the plastic underneath. The host claims it’s only the bed springs, but I took photos to prove otherwise. It should also be mentioned that if anyone in the house turns on their bed, the whole house can hear it. The noise that comes from a plastic wrapped mattress and a plastic wrapped box spring is louder than the dogs that bark all damn day and night. The listing claims that it is in a quiet neighborhood, but it is actually across the street from a school bus depot with no noise barrier so all you hear throughout the day is beeping, Diesel engines, air brakes, and bus traffic. There is also a neighborhood with the loudest pack of dogs you’ve ever heard and they bark at all hours of the day and night. The host responded that they can’t do anything about the neighborhood noises, then why did you describe this as a house in a quiet neighborhood? We stayed patient without complaining, but on the morning of the 7th day of our 9 day stay we woke up to a house registering 58 degrees. The heater died. The host said she was sending a technician over, but when we came back there were two space heaters for a 3 bedroom house. No apologies or offer to reimburse for the trouble. The house is neglected and filthy, the appliances break, it suffers from constant noise pollution. This house gets no love from its owner. If this house truly meets VRBO standards as the host kept claiming, then this reflects so poorly of the app and service.

My family came to visit Highpoint for a wedding and this home was exactly what we needed. It was very inviting and well kept. It was spacious enough for us to have our own dwellings and small enough for us to gather and enjoy. This home was pleasant upon entering. The living room was spacious and the couch was extra large and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious with all appropriate appliances and some amenities. The bedrooms were large enough but the mattresses were not comfortable. I noted this aspect to the host and she was grateful that I let her know and assured me that my comments would serve to enhance future guests’ accommodations. I hope that the mattresses are replaced so that others may have a better night’s sleep than we did. The host was lovely and responded quickly to my concerns.

My family and I stayed here while visiting relatives in High Point and Thomasville. The house was the perfect location for us and it was filled with everything we needed to feel at home. We loved our stay.
