A very anti-climatic stay/ Un soggiorno molto anticlimatico

I liked the dogs

A lot could have been better. The room was NOT the room I had booked. The price of the stay was way overpriced for the accommodations. I understand it's a Farm-like, B&B vibe but the only real welcoming factor were the dogs. The owner was not onsite when we arrived. The wrong room we were given felt as though it had been cleaned maybe a week or so before our arrival. The heat had not been turned on. We were told breakfast was included, yet when we enquired about it, we were told we had to drive to get the breakfast. I truly think when people close for the end of the season, they should close entirely or lower their rate to reflect the lack of hospitality and amenities. Molte cose avrebbero potuto essere migliori. La camera NON era quella che avevo prenotato. Il prezzo del soggiorno era decisamente eccessivo per la sistemazione. Capisco che si tratta di un'atmosfera da fattoria, ma l'unico vero fattore di benvenuto erano i cani. Il proprietario non era in loco quando siamo arrivati. La camera sbagliata che ci è stata data sembrava essere stata pulita forse una settimana o poco più prima del nostro arrivo. Il riscaldamento non era stato acceso. Ci è stato detto che la colazione era inclusa, ma quando abbiamo chiesto informazioni, ci è stato detto che dovevamo guidare per ottenere la colazione. Penso davvero che quando le persone chiudono per la fine della stagione, dovrebbero chiudere completamente o abbassare le loro tariffe per riflettere la mancanza di ospitalità e servizi.

Great local colour and a good place to rest between trips to the beach and nearby cities.

The location itself was excellent. It's just half an hour away from most of the cities we visited during our stay. The roads to reach our location were never too busy. I particularly liked the dogs, and the food was pretty good.

Upon returning to the location, most nights, the parking spots under the trees were taken by other guests. Therefore, the next day, our parked car boiled under the sun. The proper air conditioner was broken, yet there was a substitute one, though a window had to be open in order for it to expel hot air properly. Also, there's no Wi-Fi available, and there's barely any cell phone reception, meaning that it's difficult to plan trips and research information from the location.
