A cosy and comfortable stay.

Nice quiet location. The room/ cottage was cosy and full of character and a quite comfortable. The use of th esurrounding grounds was nice to be able sit out and look over the vineyards.

A lovely three nights in an original cottage which had all the comforts of home plus we could have our small dog!

It was comfortable and provided everything we needed plus a little more! Loved the big bath!

I missed a Face Washer and Hand Towel but no problems really.

Quiet and relaxing

Our stay was sooo perfect! The host goes above and beyond to help you feel comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. We loved learning about the history of Bethany also.

Comfortable historic cottage

A well restored historical cottage. We enjoyed the warm fire

The cottage was very dark, even with the lights on . The breakfast ingredients were sparse even though included in the price.

Enjoyable stay all up, would recommend this for anyone wishing for a quiet stay in the Barossa.

The cottage was beautiful, really cool. I really enjoyed reading about the history of the property and it was super quiet nestled in amongst the grape vines in a rural aspect. The bed was really comfortable and the cottage well appointed.

The A/C was a little noisy in cottage No 1, which we used at night, as it was very hot while we were there. The breakfast was very basic.

Lovely stay in the quiet cosy cottage set amongst the vineyards!

Everything was so lovely - very thoughtfully organised and the communication was excellent. The cottage is clean and very cosy, the shower had great pressure in the spacious bathroom. It is tucked away amongst the vineyards but less than 5min drive to the Main Street in Tanunda with food and shops. I cannot recommend more highly!

Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we are in town!

Exceptional

We had stayed previously at this bed and breakfast and knew what the premises and arrangements were. It met our expectations the second time around and we would stay there again in the future. The premises are in a historic setting near a small town in the Barossa Valley, which fits the mood and ambiance of the area quite well. The accommodation was very well presented in this context.

The cottage was so cute with all the little touches. Absolutely gorgeous place to stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. It was totally splendid place.

can’t wait to come back

our second visit to Bethany cottage, this time we brought along our baby for our first Father’s Day get away. We couldn’t love the charm of the cottage and the beautiful touches by the staff to make us and our baby feels comfortable. The cottage was clean and the fire was beautiful

Old world cosy charm

The cottage has old world charm, a very comfy bed and very good shower. Nice to have breakfast provisions left for us, including muesli, milk ground coffee and 2 sorts of bread with butter and jams. While close to Tanunda, you are in the countryside so have quiet evenings, views of the hills, and stars at night. Carol generously lent us a DVD player and DVDs in lieu of not being able to get ABC TV reception. There is plentiful wood for the pot belly which was appreciated.

The living space was smaller than expected, but did have everything we needed with 2 armchairs, table and chairs and kitchenette. We had expected a 2 hob stove as it was pictured in one of the photos, but in fact there was no stove top. There is an electric frypan and microwave, so very basic cooking is possible. There are a couple of steps from the bedroom to the lounge, which require some care during the night.
