We traveled here from Fort Wayne, Indiana with our family of 10 and I am so glad we picked this fantastic spot for our stay! It was everything described and better! Very restful and the kids really enjoyed the playhouse! We would definitey book again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin in North Carolina. The breathtaking mountain views, cozy atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities made our stay truly memorable. The property manager, Paul, was very responsive and accommodating, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of North Carolina's mountains and scenic beauty.

Was really impressed with how family friendly everything was. Lots of toys and games for variety of ages, tree house down the hill was a great surprise, side yard great for outdoor play, and sleeping arrangements made sense. Only minor feedback would be lack of tv in master suite. It doesn’t detract from the rating but my wife and I are ashamed to admit we use it to fall asleep. I will say though, the master had great space for a pack-n-play and even though we’re out of that season of our life it doesn’t escape our memory of rentals that lacked that critical element. Overall super rental and we would consider again.

This property was just as it looks and states. Very clean,spacious and beautiful!!! My grandkids loved the all the books and toys and the adults took advantage of coffee on the porch with beautiful views. More than we could have imagined!!! We will be back again!!

We loved the interiors. Very elaborate, neat and clean, spacious and everything was in the right spot. Good property management. Overall very good experience staying there. Location wise it is perfect as it is not too far into the woods and in the middle of the city. The entire area looked gorgeous in fall.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Loved all the games, toys and movies for the kids. The home was very clean. Also there was a professional waffle iron that we used every morning. A lot of extras like cooking spices that were good to have. There were big TVs in the living room and family room, but not in bedrooms. The beds were comfortable too! We would definitely come back! The home is beautiful 👍

We found the listing to be slightly misleading. In the bedroom breakdown, it lists 4 bedrooms and 7 beds. It is actually 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room (which isn't a problem because it had a door for privacy). There were only 5 beds plus a pull out sofa. The written description of the property did explain this somewhat more accurately, but I missed that. We came with 10 people and ended up with kids sleeping on the floor. Had the bed breakdown been more accurate, we could have planned accordingly.
Other than the bed situation, we really enjoyed our stay. The property was well stocked and had a beautiful view. The location was great too.

The house was very nice and full of cool amenities and activities… everything was labeled and easy…. Super comfortable spaces to hang out…. Fast Wi-Fi…. And in a great location for hiking and all other mountain activities. Very easy to get to and the host was always quick to respond. Highly recommend. Not a negative thing to report. Thank you!

Cabin was nice
Cabin was very clean, nice kitchen, updated appliances. Beds were good. Private setting on 3 acres.
Had issues with cable, but the owner tried to get resolved.
Only issue I had was the road noise from Interstate 40. The way the noise rolled thru the valley, I found distracting sitting on the deck. Not much noise from I-40 once inside with doors and windows closed.

Winter Break
House was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. Location between Waynesville and Maggie Valley made it easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a big meal and then some! Kids loved the upstairs playroom. Working with Paul helped ease all our concerns about the winter storms and what we could expect!

Place was very clean as advertised. Great appliances and beautiful kitchen. Has everything you need for your stay if you are cooking! Great area to stay and nice size cabin! The only thing to know about the 4th bedroom is that it doesn't have a closet and it has a pull out bed , is like a small living room up stairs next to the loft. It does have a door to make it private though which it made it work out for everybody that stayed. Overall great place , would for sure stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view! Plenty of space for 10 people! The only thing we didn’t like was garbage dumpsters closed early in the day on Saturday and we’re both closed on Sunday. Peaceful and quiet, very relaxing on the porch.

We were visiting the area and the UNC-Asheville campus and this was perfect for our family of 4. Quick access to major highways and we enjoyed Waynesville as well! We hope to stay there again!

Very nice house in a gated community. House was very clean and well maintained. Property manager was very responsive when we had questions about our stay. Only negative thing I have to say is that the bed in the master was far more firm than I normally like but that is a matter of preference. Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable, and the location is great for quickly getting to many activities. Our kids enjoyed going on a "bear hunt" to count all the wooden bears on the property, and we all enjoyed the view!

Overall, this is a nice property with some kid-friendly features like a playhouse and a bonus room upstairs for games and movies. We saw from previous reviews that the playhouse had been unavailable due to needed repairs, so I checked to make sure it was available before traveling. It was, but repairs were apparently being done on the fence as it was missing an entire section. This was an unfortunate surprise as we were traveling with kids and a dog and there is a steep drop, since the house is in the mountains. It seems as though these repairs were not communicated by the owner to the property manager. Katie's communication was good, but it seems as though the owner's communication is less than ideal.
