Close to Ponta da Piedade, this apartment is close to the busy area of lagos and very silent at the same time. All doors and windows are equipped with black out which allow you a relax and 'dark' sleeping even during the day.

Good location, near the marina. Modern, with nice finishings. Parking was great, underground. Marisa was helpful and prompt. Would stay here again for sure.

We were immediately impressed with how clean everything was! It was a really spacious apartment with lots of windows. This location is amazing! It’s right next to the bus station and walking distance to the marina and downtown areas. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area!

I just don’t know where to begin. I’ve rented VRBOs several times over the last few years. We are easy to please and usually give 5 stars. Here it was one disappointment after another beginning prior to our stay when we requested information from the owner and he replied several days later. The property manager was there on time to check us in and was very nice. We go in the building and the first thing is the musty smell. Then into the apartment. It’s ok but done cheaply. Some patio doors in rooms don’t open as the room is so small. It’s very bright which we appreciated and the couch was very comfortable. The patio doors don’t lock and this is on the 2nd floor. There was no safe in the apartment which would have helped with this situation. The 2 heat pumps in the apartment did not work and this is 1 important reason for us booking this particular spot. Instead there was a portable heater that we had to drag from room to room, there was 1 towel per person that didn’t even cover my body. No dishcloths, no dishrag, no cleaning cloths…nothing. The bedding was minimal and only for 1 of the 3 bedrooms. The building alarm would go off at different times of the day. We were not warned of this and had to ask. Both flushes leaked which is annoying when you’re trying to sleep. On one occasion there power switched off in the apartment and it took 2 hours to get directions. Still we made the best of it. However we had to leave 7 weeks early and inquired about a partial refund, we were thinking that one months notice would be sufficient for 3 weeks refund. Reasonable? Again, absolutely no reply or acknowledgement. I sent the property manager a note but she didnt know how to reach him. The phone number given didn’t work. After several days he sends a reply saying that VRBO had the money and he therefore couldn’t refund. The bottom line is that this person doesn’t care about his apartment or customers, he only cares about the money. If he would have tried, he would have noticed that we were in a bind but trying to be reasonable. Partial refund or credit would have been perfect.
