Welcome to the Lakehouse!
This 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath lakehouse is the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation or reunion! This home features an open floor plan with a large covered deck facing the water, ample space for parking, and a giant kitchen table to gather around after a day on the lake. (The fireplace can not be used.)
The Lakehouse is only a 5 minute walk to a semi-private beach (only accessible by the neighborhood or by water!) The boat launch is just minutes away. Boats can be rented from Acorns Resort, just 2 minutes away.
Junction City is 10 minutes away where you can find restaurants and grocery. The Cove Bar & Grill is just 2 minutes away and features gorgeous views of the lake.
The home features high-speed wifi, cable, and smart TV's, Netflix, Hulu connectivity and more is available for your enjoyment!

This is a great property and Wanda was a wonderful host! She reached out ahead of time with tips for the area, check in was super simple and she had the house fully stocked with anything we could have needed along with welcome gifts and tips and suggestions for the area. I would definitely recommend! The house was beautiful and the area was great with a beautiful view of the lake.

Wanda's house was perfect for our large family gathering. The multiple bedrooms accommodated multiple couples well and the bunks in the common basement area worked well for a boys dorm. The house is very kid friendly, with plenty of cots and children's toys. Everything was well-stocked from kitchen, to towels, to beach supplies. My brother had an awesome time grilling some amazing pad Thai on the Blackstone. We enjoyed walking down to the beach area to catch sunsets and the moon. The stars were gorgeous.
Wanda's communication was superb! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time at your home and Milford Lake. The house fit our family needs perfectly! It was well supplied with all the essentials plus much more! We truly enjoyed our stay!

With children from 1 to 8 years old, the toys and deck area gave the space to play. The downstairs bunk room was great for multiple kids and a place to play away from the rest of the group. The kitchen was well equipped with extras like foil and condiments that we forgot. We were close enough to walk to the beach, and just a few minutes away from a pontoon boat rental. Lots of fun!

We had a great experience at the Milford Lake property. We picked this place because it was about halfway between family in Montana and Florida. The fact that it was in Kansas (somewhere that was new to all of us) was a bonus. The lake is pretty much right across the street. In the summer it would be perfect to go and play in the water!
The bedrooms are set up so that we all had our own bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The “bunk room” downstairs was perfect for the boys to go down and play Xbox by themselves. I loved the kitchen which was open to the living area so even as we were cooking we were still all together.
The area has many little things to do. We checked out the marina and a couple of wineries.
The only thing I could ask for would be a little warmer weather but that’s not something we can control.
Wanda the property owner was quick with responses and very gracious with our check in and out.
Would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our week at Milford Lake! The home was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. There were enough large pots and pans to make meals for our family of 13, toys for the children, games and puzzles that we thoroughly enjoyed, and Wanda made sure we were not lacking anything. And the lake was just a short walk away. Would 100% recommend.

Great house that was extremely cleaned and well stocked. They provided bags of ice, plenty of towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to keep the kitchen clean. They even had pancake mix in the freezer which was welcome for breakfast the next morning since we had not gone shopping yet We had two younger boys as well as two teenage boys who are always hungry. You can see the lake from the house and the front porch was a great place to start the day. We rented a pontoon (Acorn Marina) one day and spent the day on the lake. Spent some time at Milford State Park which was close by. The house provided more than we needed in the way of bath towels and beach towels. I would recommend a stay at this lake house. Beautiful location.

Perfect house for our whole family
We stayed with our grown children, their spouses and our 2 grandbabies. It is an absolute beautiful home and was the perfect house for us. Anything you could ever think of was provided. We cannot say thank you enough for making a trip like this so much easier and stress free.

Perfect for our family
Really nice house, it exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was very well stocked and also was great to have a gas grill and a Blackstone to use.
We really enjoyed the beach...also kayaking.
Communicating with Wanda was very good, no complaints at all! Hoping we can go again sometime.

Excellent House for Large Families
This was the perfect house for our large group to stay for a week. Wanda was incredible at communicating, and the location was fun and ideal. We loved the short walk to the lake and time on the lake. The house has plenty of living space, tons of extra towels, a good washer and dryer, and fresh drinking water. We were welcomed by a hostess treat, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely stay here again.

Great New Years Weekend!
This space was perfect for our family to spend time together to ring in the new year. The living area upstairs is spacious, with a huge couch and table. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and Wanda is a great host!

Thanksgiving 2021
We had a great time. Family and friends came from Virginia, Tennessee, New Mexico, Nebraska and loved the area and the lake house. The grandkids big and small enjoyed every minute. Wanda was a great host and very attentive. I feel it was important to her we were taken care of. It was mentioned by some that we should do this every year!

The lake house was incredible. Beautifully decorated, all the amenities plus so much more. Very spacey and coffee every morning on the deck was such a great way to start our days. Great deck! Nice Kansas beach 5 minute walk.
This was a nice comfortable home for all 10 adults in my family. We had every kind of cook wear including spices that we needed in the kitchen to make nice meals. We had a great time hanging out on the deck. Very quiet area. The walk to the beach is approximately 5 minutes away. Very nice Kansas Beach. The master bedroom is on first floor. The rest of the bedrooms are in basement. All 5 couples had their own room with a bunk room left over that sleeps 7 that we did not need. Nice big staircase leading to the basement. The only suggestion i have is to have a hand rail installed from the stairs in the garage that leads to the inside door of the house for the older generation. Nice surprise was a upright freezer and a refrigerator in the garage. There are many supplies Available for beach day. Nice grill available as well. From the family photos in the house, there must be great fishing in that area. There is also boat rental available. Wanda was very helpful and did not get tired of answering my texts and emails. Thanks to Wanda this trip was successful and fun.

Nice getaway
Wanda was terrific to work with, and on such short notice. The girls had a blast in a “new house” and the nearby beach was nice. Quiet neighborhood with an excellent view of the sunset over the lake. We had everything we needed, and then some.

First time staying here and it was great. Definitely would recommend staying if your looking for a a getaway. Walking distance to a beach area on the lake. Wanda was very easy and great to deal with.
