About this house rental
Located in the heart of idyllic Somers on the Mornington Peninsular, with some views to Phillip Island.
This location gives you access with a very short walk across the road to Somers beach, yacht club, general store and close proximity to surfing beaches and many excellent golf courses.
The house features open plan living dining with partial views through the banksias to Somers coastal reserve along with a beatufull large pool and outside dining spaces.
Master bedroom is upstairs with 2 bedrooms downstairs. One of these bedrooms is made up of bunk beds that sleep 4. Two separate living areas. 1.5 bathrooms are extended with an outdoor shower, close to the pool. Inside and outdoor dining spaces with small but well appointed kitchen with Gaggenau oven, Dishwasher. Weber BBQ on the ocean deck or Gas BBQ area at the back for outdoor entertaining along with fire pit space.
The house can accommodate 6 people.
The house has satellite WIFI.
Enjoy the best of the Peninsular, wine and dine out with the Mornington Peninsula's best dining at Point Leo Estate ,Jackalope vineyard, Tedesca , Polpero , Yabbi lake to name a few and then ther are the many golf courses and hot springs.

Second time staying at this property, peaceful location. Neat, clean, short walk to the beach, cafe and beautiful heated pool!

This house was fantastic for our long weekend with family and friends. The giant pool and deck and gorgeous yard of native flora makes for an oasis that happens to also be walking distance to beautiful beach. And even at its busiest, this stretch of beach is not thronging. There's a great deck up top too and the sunset streams into the top floor. Special mention for the beds that are so comfortable.
We keep coming back to this house. It's wonderful in Summer and cosy but still great for a Winter break. The host, Margaret is very responsive and lovely.

Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The dishes and cutlery were dirty, including the white plates which required washing from scratch and stains over most of the cutlery. Additionally, we found bed sheet downstairs with yellow stains that seemed recent with a bad odour, and none of the outdoor chairs were clean, all chairs in the outdoor area were very dirty and dusty. Some of the towels provided were hand sized towels. Furthermore, the pool, which was supposed to be heated and for which I paid extra, was cold and not warm.

Our group of 4 x 50+ friends loved our stay at this property, the pool and garden was delightful, and it was relaxing listening to the birds.
We were surprised at the request of stripping the bed linen before we left, which would be fine if staying at a friend's home, rather than paying accommodation.
This is the only reason why we gave the property 4 stars.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this great property, with our 2 adult children and their partners.
The house is well equipped and thoughtfully decorated.
The garden is amazing and a great place to hang out, as well as the awesome pool.
Margaret was very helpful and responsive to our questions.
The only issue for us coming back would be that the front gate did not close and our dog could wander off the property. This may not bother everyone but could be a problem for people with pets.
P.S our dog had a great time, and we managed to block the gate with our car.

We stayed for three nights at Ocean View Crescent. The house is highly functional, chic and relaxing. The grandchildren aged from 4-13 had so much fun in the heated pool with bouts of table tennis in between. Mother and grandmother enjoyed much of the same and really loved the bird song and nature walks down to the beach as well. Another big plus is the short stroll to the Somers General Store. All in all a wonderful experience. Recommend 100 per cent!

We had such a nice time. We didn’t hardly leave the house as it was so lovely and relaxing. Beds are super comfy too. We opted to heat the swimming pool and spent most of our time in the pool. The house has everything that you could possible want for a holiday. I highly recommend and we will hopefully be back soon.

Our family group had a lovely stay here. The location is fabulous with the Sommers General Store and Beach so close (walking distance). The weather was on our side to enjoy the stunning pool and enjoyed the local resident kookaburras visiting us to say hello poolside.

We were a group of 5 mums and had such a fabulous 2 night stay at Margaret’s house. The house was well stocked with plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the garden especially the stunning pool. Such a great location as well as we walked down each morning to the General Store for a delicious breakfast. We hope to return soon for another relaxing stay.

This home is always beautifully presented and so ready for us to de-stress and holiday. We've been several times now throughout the year. The kids spend hours in the pool and the yard is gorgeous. It's perfect for two families and we've made many wonderful meals and sat around the firepit. The neighbourhood's lovely to wander through and the beach 1min away is both family friendly but also has sections of rockpools that keep us and the dog very happy.

The house is definitely on the smaller side for 4 adults and a child, however the pool and outdoor area is amazing. Love that we could bring our french bulldog along with us, however do note the property is not completely fenced, this would be been useful. Overall amazing spot with an amazing pool.

We swam in the pool in July! It was heated warm (make sure to check with the manager to make sure its turned on for your stay). The house was clean and comfortable, the heater was enough to warm the main living upstairs, downstairs rooms were a little chilly in winter. Only negatives, there was no block out blinds upstairs, and the main shower didn't drain properly so there was a constant wet floor. Would still happily stay again :)

Location location and the pool 🤩
Our family recently enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful property. The pool and outdoor area really was the highlight! We also loved the location being so close to the beach (5 minute walk) and just a minute or two from the Somers general store which was great! Margaret was very pleasant and efficient to communicate with when we had any questions. Thanks again for a lovely stay - our son did not want to leave and we hope to return one day.

Myself, my partner, my two children aged 8 and 11 and my mother rented this house for 5 nights.

We had the most blissful time.
The pool was the whole reason for our booking as our kids love to swim.
The pool is huge and it’s absolutely gorgeous with all the surrounding nature.
The whole setting and location is really divine and we had the most beautiful time away.
Will be booking in the future .
It would be fab to have the front gate completely shut for fur friends and that’s my only complaint.

Perfect family holiday
We're a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and we had the best holiday here. The pool is amazing and it was like we were in our own resort. Location is fantastic being so close to the beach and the General Store. Will definitely look to book again.

Another fabulous stay
Once again we had an amazing stay on this glorious property. Somers turned the weather on for the week so we enjoyed the pool and proximity to the beach. The house is extremely well appointed with the addition of a very comfortable couch and some kitchen gadgets to add to the already well stocked kitchen. One of my favourite summer holidays I’ve had. Looking forward to returning next year!

We really loved our time at Somers. Margaret and Simon are the best hosts! The house is just right—both stylish and comfortable. I really appreciated the nice linen, comfortable beds and the kitchen, the loads of pots and pans, glasses and crockery. The heated pool was very special. Huge and private. Even though it was April when we stayed we swam everyday.

We stayed here from Boxing Day 2020 through till the new year 2021. I loved the fact that there was a separate living space downstairs and the kids would watch cartoons and play games. Location is great being literally across from the beach and I loved that the house comes with so much.. so many games to entertain us, towels, linen, kitchen utensils, etc.If I had a magic wand, I wish that the pool was 'heated' because it does get quiet cold and that there were block out blinds so that we could sleep in. Given it's summer, we all woke up quite early because the sun would come glaring into the rooms. The automatic shutter blinds upstairs didn't seem to work, so it did get quite hot upstairs.Overall we had an amazing time, we felt right at home, the kids loved it and I would recommend the house to any family that want a nice relaxing break.

If you looking for good,clean, and relaxing place don’t hesitate to try this stunning house. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway, with stunning views over there. House was nothing short of exactly what you could ask for as a couple or for the whole family and friends. Modern facilitys with all needs catered for, all that was needed was to kick back and enjoy. Lastly, my best part was the swimming pool, it’s WOW !!!! Thanks to the house owner and the team.
