Won’t be back or recommend to anybody.

Cob webs from the ceiling of the room. Freezing cold. No supplementary heating available. Had to sleep in my clothes. No breakfast available.

Very polite host

Location is perfect. 2 miles from Norwich city centre and close to Earlham park. Orlando was a great host. Very polite and helpful

Host was a nice fellow and welcoming breakfast good though he'd run out of eggs but gave extra sausages and toast so made up for it

Toilet outside of room but to be fair it was the only room available so couldn't be helped

Location was excellent for me, going to a concert at the UEA.

The place itself also operates as a takeaway 🤔. When I went to ask a question to the owner about something , I was accosted by several delivery drivers asking if I worked there. All very strange. Anyway, I digress, the owner was in the kitchen preparing food to go out, and when I asked him to assist him with a matter, he said I should wait for 10 minutes whilst he was busy. Now he wasn't there on his own, but I have never stayed somewhere where I have been asked to wait as a patron, whilst a takeaway meal is tended too. He could have put this in the oven to help me out and the recipient would have been none the wiser, but no - not here.

Exceptional

Very friendly staff, location is 10 minutes walk from the UEA, which was the purpose of my visit. The room is perfect for a 2-3 day stay. Orlando's provides nice food from the restaurant, although I happened to have only breakfast. Would definetly stay there again next time.

the chap who owned it was friendly but I would not advise staying there.

location was good, easy access to university

walked into the property, very dark inside, hectic front room, tables and chairs everywhere. Strange!!

it was ok for a few nights

the accommodation was quiet

it appeared to be like someone’s house and the price was a lot for the room the bedroom had a shower, but the WC was down the corridor and their was no teas/ coffee in the room

Lovely location, good facilities and comfortable room, thank you.

Nice big room with a shower inside which was very handy and private. The pillows were so comfortable! Our host, Orlando, was very kind and interesting to talk to. And the location was really good, within walking distance of the UEA and Earlham Park which we had come to see. Towels, toiletries, water etc were provided, and the option of breakfast too. It's in a lovely, quiet location despite being so near the University. There is also a Tesco within walking distance for any additional needs.

The bed was a bit squeaky which was hard to sleep with, but it was very comfortable. There is a no eating in the room rule which I completely understand and support, but unfortunately, I was unaware of it until we arrived and saw a little note on the door, which meant we had to rearrange our eating plans.

It was great.

Mr Orlando is the extra value, he is honest, handyman, amazing.

A fridge at bar, it was useless there instead it could work somewhere else however this is another story.

The owner wasn't there on arrival at 5 PM he said he would be an hour when our engineers rang. The neighbors said it was disgraceful and had already tried to shut him down because he isn't licensed and has just opened a restaurant in his living room! They also noted people have been robbed in there due to there not being any locks on any of the doors when staying. Horrible atmosphere.

i didn’t like that the en-suite was literally in the room. you could see into the shower from the bed and the toilet ventilated into the room

It was a short.but very pleasant visit. Orlando.was a kind and helpful host.

There wasn't any thing that caused me to feel uncomfortable or ill served.
