This semi-detached cottage rests in the East Riding of Yorkshire and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

Cosy Coast Cottage is a superb semi-detached cottage resting on the beachfront of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. There are three bedrooms including a double, twin and a single, sharing a bathroom and being suitable to sleep up to five people. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room in the cottage. Benefit from two off-road parking spaces, as well as being within walking distance of many amenities and the beach. Cosy Coast Cottage is a wonderful property to base your family holiday to this area of Yorkshire.
Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Amenities: Gas fired central heating. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV, DVD player and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot. Off-road parking for two cars. Sorry, no smoking. One well-behaved dog welcome. Shop, pub and restaurant round the corner. Only a 3 minute walk to the beach and supermarket, 5-10 minute walk into Bridlington town centre.
Note - This property has a good house keeping bond of £150.00.

This should be called Hollow House not Cosy Cottage as it is very echoey and hollow. The good side: it is near the beach, the beds were comfortable although the double was very soft. It was mostly clean inside and there was a huge tv which the kids loved. The bad side: the outside is filthy and looks like the windows haven't been cleaned for a couple of years. The curtain in the living room is torn and the net is just a small piece of single fabric. There is a tiny yard at the back with the high wall of a hotel looming behind it. No attempt has been made to make it pleasant so the view from the back is awful. To make matters worse there is also a huge extractor fan going 18/24 hours so you have to keep the windows in the back bedrooms and kitchen shut and you can still hear the noise. There is no way of drying anything - no tumble dryer, not even a line in the yard - and this in a house near the beach. The decor is tatty - an attempt at shabby chic I imagine which is just shabby. The bedding is 100% cheap polyester. I have never stayed in a holiday let with polyester bedding. There towels were small and thin. There were exactly 5 usable mugs in the kitchen - the 6th was cracked all over the bottom; the fridge was small and the bottom shelf on the door had been removed. This is a Sykes property - Sykes used to have a good reputation for the quality of their lets but times must have changed as this is one of the poorest holiday lets I have ever rented.

The property was very clean. Great location. A few things could be better for me to stay at this property again. We stayed for 12 days and we only got left 2 small bath towels and two hand towels. We had traveled from Atlanta Georgia so didn't bring towels with us. We bought towels two were not enough with only a washing machine and no dryer. The main bedroom bed was extremely soft and you felt like you were falling off the bed. That bed really needs updating. Me and my husband could not sleep in it and had to sleep in two single beds. The downstairs couch was held up underneath with plywood but it was still very uncomfortable. I wanted somewhere to relax but due to the bed and the couches, it was virtually impossible. It was very cold in England and it was not warm in the house. The radiators must have been on a timer and when they went off it got extremely cold. We tried to keep the doors closed to the kitchen and living room to keep the heat in but the doors would not close all the way. This is just some constructive criticism. If they changed the bed and couches downstairs it would have been more enjoyable.
