Séjour agréable

L’emplacement, agréable, chambre très originale, lobby avec de gros canapés, petit-déjeuner complet dans un lieu très agréable. Personnel très gentil.

Cool location, very comfortable, big and nice room and bathroom, excellent dinner

Almost impossible even to just drop-off your luggage from the car. Staff in many other places seemed to be more interested in making your stay pleasant (check-in and restaurant). Make your guests feel as guests! Breakfast was ok but nothing special

Location and decoration of the common areas. Good breakfast.

Rooms are small but this is the best you can get in a town like Fjallbacka, not complaining :)

Very good

This is a small hotel with a personalized touch perfectly located in the heart of Fjällbacka. Each room is different, referring to a particular location in the world, and has a travel story by an imagined sea captain. It also has three restaurants, we tried two of them and they were very good. We will be happy to return next year.

Small details not worth mentioning. Please note that the property has no parking and finding a parking slot is a challenge, especially between 15 of June and 15 of August. This is however a general problem in Fjällbacka.

Nice hotel with excellent location!

Excellent location and we were lucky to have the view over the harbour and the pedestrian area. The Hotel has an interesting history which was explained by the reception personnell. Beds were excellent, we had the room named Yoko. In the hotel there is a restaurant called Mamsell, definitely worth a detour. Excellent 5-course dinner with an extensive winelist. Breakfast also very good.

Superb

The hotel was in a beautiful setting so close to the harbour. We were fortunate to get a room with a harbour view Breakfast was superb : elegant surroundings + peaceful outdoor garden Thank you very much.

I did not particularly like the colours and theme of Sheba room. It was un necessary when there is such natural beauty around.

Very good location and friendly staff. That’s were the advantages end.

The decor does not feel cozy or comfortable to spend time indoor. We stayed in a ground floor double room. Even though it was beginning of August it always felt dark and a bit moist inside. Definitely not the top standard and a low value for the money spent. Breakfast was average.

Why so expensive?

The location and the staff is great. Our room was nice and plain. Good views!

The hotel is increadibly overpriced! Low season, only a few guests and 160€! No facilities in the room. And concerning the ongoing COVID-19 pandemia: we were asked when we wanted breakfast - told that only a few guests were allowed at a time. ALL guests appeared at the same time! Chaos! And the person in charge did not give ANY instructions!
