Join us for the white sand beaches, gulf breezes and once in a lifetime sunsets in a luxurious 3,000 sq. ft. multi-million dollar custom beachfront duplex! Villa Del Sol is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath Tommy Bahama furnished home steps away from the beach. The villa has a private beach sand path that leads directly to the Gulf. After a relaxing day at the beach, enjoy your own private pool/hot tub/outdoor shower/grill area as you listen to the waves. There are views of the Gulf of Mexico in almost every room with beautiful balconies to enjoy dolphin watching and gorgeous sunsets. The fully renovated interior has striking upgrades, but still maintains the comfort of a beach home. Villa Del Sol has the amenities needed for an easy transition to focus on relaxation on your vacation!
We currently are only doing weekend to weekend reservations for 7 day rentals (Saturday/Sunday). If you would. like to stay longer than 7 days check-in and check-outs will be accepted on non-weekend days. Please inquire for additional information.

This house was everything we needed for our family vacation. It is exactly as described, beautiful and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need from beach days to eating in. We will definitely be back!

Slight mix up at start but Mike and Melissa were on top of everything. House was very nice. They had everything we could have wanted to use at the beach including paddle boards, kayak, coolers, chairs, any toy or mask needed. We did not think we would use the pool and hot tub but used as much as we did the ocean. Very responsive hosts. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the house was perfect! It is close to downtown but far enough away to not have crowds on the beach and very close to the grocery store. The owners were super easy to get ahold of and responded almost immediately. The house has everything you could want and more! The pool/hot tub were nice and private and the views of the ocean can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is literally right on the beach and access is very easy. The house is very well appointed, clean, and nicely decorated. The owners have a TON of beach gear: chairs, paddleboards, ocean kayaks, boogie boards, etc. We really didn't have to bring anything with us.
The house is a very short drive (or walk) to the main square on the island or about 20 minutes to downtown Fort Myers. Similar distance to Naples and Bonita. There were plenty of dining options nearby. In addition, we were able to instacart everything we needed.
The owner was very engaged and responded to our messages promptly.
All in all, a great property with a great location.

The property is nicely appointed - you don't have to leave for anything. We had groceries delivered right there - we couldn't have asked for more convenience, a nicer view or accommodations.

Our family had a wonderful time! The location was perfect, right on the beach!! The house was beautiful and very well stocked including lots of beach and pool toys which the grand kids really enjoyed. We all loved the pool and the beach and the adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The views of the gulf from the balcony are amazing and the dolphins entertained us every morning with their antics. We can't wait to return!

This house is just as lovely as the pictures show. The kitchen has everything you might need, the owners provide beach toys, chairs, even a wagon to make the steps to the beach easy. Pool area is spacious and clean. The furnishings inside are beachy but tasteful. These owners really understand vacationers, plenty of space to stow your own gear. They kept in touch throughout our stay but were never intrusive. Do the fine people of FMB a favor. Go there, spend some money and help them get their town back.

It was very clean and the owners/managers of the property were readily available to answer all questions and responded almost immediately. This was our first family vacation in Ft. Myers and we were looking for a special property. We wanted to take a significant step towards luxury in terms of a private pool, private beach access, and next-level amenities. Thankfully, we hit the bullseye with this amazing place and owners!
Tasteful luxury: top of the line furniture, kitchen appliances (including margarita welcome kit!), bed & bathroom set ups, beach toys (loved learning how to paddle board and seeing the dolphins), beach umbrellas & chairs, and art (tasteful ocean décor was the perfect touch)!
Amazing communication: from moments after booking the property, and throughout our stay, Mike & Melissa were the perfect hosts. They kept us informed leading up to our vacation and later checked in with us during our vacation to make sure everything was going well. It was clear Mike & Melissa wanted our family vacation to be perfect.
Loads of conveniences: we have never, NEVER, stayed at a VRBO where we didn’t have to go purchase something basically off-the-bat. This time it was different - everything we needed, it was already there for us and I’m not just talking the big things (which were outstanding), but also the important, little things too (towel clips to hold towels on beach chairs, sand grippers so umbrellas were secure in the sand, cooking sprays, grill cleaners, coolers, body boards, extra ping pong balls, etc.)
This was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. Our kids (3 high school, 1 middle school, and 1 elementary school) enthusiastically gave this property a “5 out of 5.” My wife and I agree 100%. Thank you, Mike & Melissa - we will definitely book with you again!

Total pleasure
The location and residence were beyond what we werehoping for. Melissa and Mike were also great to work with. My mother-in-law had just broken her hip a few months prior to our stay so the elevator was priceless to us. We also were given a number for rental of a beach wheel chair that worked out perfect for her. We were surprised at how well stocked the little things were such as soaps and paper products along with all the beach and pool accessories. There just We all hated to leave Melissa and Mike's little piece of paradise.

Amazing house!
We recently returned from a wonderful family vacation on Fort Myers Beach. This house is amazing! The location was perfect and the views were awesome. We loved starting our day on the balcony watching the dolphins swim by. There is everything you need to enjoy the beach, the great chairs, umbrellas, a wagon for all your gear and a ton for sand toys for the kids. The house very clean and very well stocked. It has everything we needed. The owners were so responsive to any of our needs and even had a welcome gift for us. We would stay again at this property when we return to Fort Myers Beach.

Fort Myers Beach - April 2022
Our family of six (one couple, two children – ages 15 and 11, and one set of grandparents) stayed at the Villa del Sol for one week in mid-April. Overall, we had an amazing stay. The owners responded promptly to all messages and checked in on us to be sure all was well. This was our first time to Fort Myers Beach; the weather could not have been better. The house is beautiful, and the views are absolutely breath-taking. We loved having the direct view of the Gulf of Mexico and especially enjoyed watching sunsets and dolphins swim by from the main-level balcony. The private pool, hot tub, and beach access were all perfect amenities for our family. We were able to use the sand toys for our annual ‘boys versus girls’ sandcastle contest. Additionally, the location was perfect for our family, outside of the busy Times Square area but close enough to walk to some restaurants and to the Library to catch the free Tram service. We enjoyed a day on Sanibel and Captiva islands for shelling and had a fantastic breakfast at The Old Captiva House. We enjoyed fresh seafood dinners at Fresh Catch and Coste, which were close to the house. The Junkanoo and Salty Crab were nice for casual lunches. We can’t say enough good things about the property, owners, and the Fort Myers Beach area!

Expectations Exceeded!
We LOVED our week at Villa Del Sol! From the amazing house, to the pool area, and constant views of the beach/ocean and continuous sounds of the waves crashing, we could not have had a better experience. Just as everyone has said, the kitchen was very well stocked and we couldn't believe all the pool/beach toys and gear provided. It was an amazing week that literally has something for everyone without leaving the property. We hope to return again one day! We loved everything about this property. The location was just prime! Restaurant nearby to walk to, beach was amazing. Pool & hot tub awesome. Well stocked with “toys”- paddle boards, kayak, SpikeBall, tons of kids toys. Great beach chairs. Coolers. Just made it easy to hang out. View was fabulous. Going to miss mornings on the balconies. We have been lucky to travel all over the world! From 1-5 star resorts, I wish I had more than 5 stars for this resort on the beach! The home is not only exactly as represented on this site, but so much better. We didn't use our cars for the whole week. Everything was in walking distance. Great beach, pool, kayaking and paddle boarding on property. Great restaurants and stores in walking distance. We truly got the 'R's we were looking for and needed! Our welcome gift of margaritas were exactly what the doctor ordered! A must see ... and stay!

A serene ocean front vacation we will never forget!
This home has everything a family or anyone would want. Our group of mature friends found a home that has everything, from the margarita bar to our own private outlet to the beach. If you like to kayak, or just pitch a tent in front of the relaxing ocean, this beautiful home has it. We even spent time in the hot tub and heated pool. The view, absolutely amazing! We enjoyed ourselves so much, it was hard to believe our vacation had passed so quickly! The owners made our time comfortable and pleasant! They were quick to respond and resolve any concerns we had. Location & things to do.
We had 9 women staying for a week in June. Melissa & Micheal’s place was amazing. They had everything we needed for cooking, drinking, playing by the pool & on the beach. There were enough beach supplies to keep everyone happy. We paddle boarded & kayaked daily, found amazing shells on the beach & watched many dolphin swim by. The 3 balconies were great for views, Each bedroom had it’s own bathroom with shower & the pull out couches were very handy. They even had margaritas & a margarita machine that was great for frozen poolside drinks. We will definitely rent again with family & friends. Thank you for a great vacation!

This beautiful beachfront home is all one could hope for!
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful, wonderfully equipped home. The beach seems private and views are amazing! Dolphins sightings were fun while the kids played on the beach. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub, and there were plenty of toys. The views were amazing from every room inside the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and furnishings were perfect for a Floridian vacation home. The owners were completely pleasant and readily available to answer any questions and make recommendations about the area. We hope to return and hopefully stay longer. Leaving was the only sad part of the trip.

Perfect Place for a much needed family vacation
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Del Sol! The home, amenities and location are all 5 star! We wanted to get away as a family yet still be COVId aware and Villa del Sol did just that. We were on the less busy portion of Ft Myers which allowed for early mornings enjoyed from the patio watching the pelicans and dolphins (jumping - so exciting) and enjoying beautiful sunsets! Some of us are beach lovers and others pool lovers plus our daughter had surgery recently and unable to get her upper torso wet.
So lounging by the pool and reading numerous books was a great location for her while the others enjoyed swimming, running and walking the beach at all times of the day. The house had everything needed - plenty of room yet cozy for us to feel like we are on a family vacation together. The grocery store was only a few miles away for the initial stocking and quick trip for some more items.
The elevator was awesome for hauling luggage and shopping bags up and down.
Mellissa and Michael were so helpful from the first point of contact, during and after our visit just making sure we were happy with our stay!
If our travels bring us back to Ft Myers we do hope to stay at Villa Del Sol again!

Location location location
If you want a house right on the beach with a private pool this is an ideal rental. Melissa ensured we had a wonderful stay and the house was perfect for us. Fully stocked kitchen, pool toys and sand toys including kayak and paddle boards. We were three couples in our 50’s and was perfect set up for us, would be ideal for extended family with grandkids as well. Elevator was key to get baggage up to main house level.

Villa Del Sol is absolutely perfect!
This is by far the best experience I’ve had renting through VRBO. First of all, the house is truly perfect! The decor is Beautiful, the views are Amazing, well stocked with anything and everything you need (kitchen supplies, beach, pool, grilling...), the Gulf is literally in your back yard, perfect pool and hot tub temp, very comfortable beds and furniture... I could go on and on. Mike and Melissa made the whole process wonderful and easy. They both were very accessible and quickly responsive to any questions that we had. This was a Moms’ and high school senior girls’ spring break trip. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy! I loved that our beach was pretty quiet and not crowded. But if you want more activity, Times Square( little downtown area with all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, pier, public beach) is only 1.5 miles away. Publix is very close to the property and made it very easy to run and get groceries. Thank you to Mike and Melissa! They are wonderful owners who obviously take great care of their property! It really is a great location and I’m looking forward to planning my next trip to Villa Del Sol!
