A must do experience in Nusa Pendida!!

We loved the experience!! The staff was incredible. My husband had gotten a little sick and they were really attentive. Before I had arrived at the airport, they helped with many things as well. The view from our tent was spectacular. The tent had everything we needed - they literally had thought of everything. The breakfast was incredible!! Overall amazing experience. Special mention to gooday and Sony.

Stunning

This place is otherworldly; seriously cool tents, which are air conditioned and comfortable, the pool is beautiful and very well maintained, it’s quiet and tranquil. A lot of love and care has gone into setting this resort up and it shines through. The crepes at breakfast were lovely, and they use fresh loaves for toast (something we haven’t seen at another resort). They also have an honour system fridge near reception where you can grab a drink any time of day and log it to your room. The owners and management are clearly passionate about hospitality, we would stay here forever if we could.

Erg naar ons zin gehad en aparte beleving slapen in een tent met airco en uitzicht op de jungle!

Het was een goed ontbijt, met keuzes. De locatie was ook echt heel goed. We hadden zelfs apen op bezoek. We komen zeker een keer terug en bevelen de accommodatie zeker aan.

Prachtige plek om te verblijven. Tent met airco en geweldig uitzicht, schoon en alles compleet. Zwembad was echt geweldig! Sfeer prima . Personeel heel erg vriendelijk en wilden alles voor je doen. Top plek!

Enige kleine puntje dat er geen eten was. Wat simples zoals een tosti’s of wat snacks was wel een toevoeging maar gelukkig in de buurt genoeg Warungs waar je heel goedkoop kan eten.

Amazing stay at Autentik

The tents are clean, beautiful & have so many amenities to make you comfortable. The pool is great. They let you rent motorbikes from them which is very convenient. It was also nice to book the boat and car transfer with them for convenience. They even made a flower arrangement for our honeymoon. Breakfast was also so nice and could be brought to your tent each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredibly authentic experience, highly recommended

Loved the aesthetic, loved the staff and our tent! Autentik is exactly that, authentic. If you want to spend the night literally sleeping in the jungle surrounded by monkeys, birds and even chickens then you really cannot go wrong. Very unique experience and one that I won’t forget, genuinely a memorable time spent here. The staff go above and beyond, pickup and drop off to the port as well as boat travel all taken care of, no issues at any point. We will be recommending this place to anyone that will listen, if we head back to Penida then we’ll be heading back to Autentik 100%

Gotta be honest, really hard to fault the place but I’ll be as critical as I can just to give a balanced view. The pool is super idyllic but did make my shorts go a shade of green (not the first time this has happened on my travels), not a massive deal obviously. Also as some have stated already in the reviews, if you’re not comfortable with certain insects (spiders in particular) then this place might be a struggle to face some phobias. The team have done a great job of trying to make the tent as air tight as possible but the wild will find a way in some way or another. As long as you can deal with that you’ll be fine.

100% recommend. The highlight of our trip!!

The most amazing stay. Absolutely exceeded our expectation. For what you pay, this would be $500 a night in NZ and it was only a third of that price here. The staff are amazing, very attentive and the location is just stunning. This place was the highlight of our whole 3 week trip.

Very friendly staff welcoming with ice tea. Nice that they have scooters to rent already at the facility. The breakfast was fantastic. Nice swimming pool area. Great idea to have a big water dispenser (warm and cold water) in each tent, included. Very much appreciated.

It would have been good if the closest trees to the tent could be removed as they blocked the jungle view. There was really not much to see from the tent. For the best view, ask for tent 7 or 8.

Intimate setting with just 8 glam tents around a great pool area to hang out. Diving club and a couple of dining options in direct vicinity speak for this location too.

Service level shows some potential up, i.e. guidance for things to see and to do as well as providing ways of getting there. More spontaneous guest may struggle getting their requests accommodated, particularly around getting a driver. Pricing policy related to driving not very consequent - changes depending on who you speak to. Resorts dedicated driver not very communicative. It's important not to spoil a guest's day by someone with a little attitude. Water pressure in shower could use improving.

Perfect and relaxed accommodation for couple!

We really loved our stay there. It was really calm, clean and private. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, good breakfast, convenient scooter rent at the hotel and amazing scenery. 💚 Would’ve loved to stay there for longer.

I loved this place and would recommend it to everyone! It's unique and should not be missed!

The rooms are wonderful, it's clean, cozy, comfy beds and amazing views. The breakfast was very nice and can be delivered to your room to enjoy it with a great view. Book the valley if possible it's worth it! The service is great and staff is always kind and helpful, with a smile. I booked a trip they suggested to see the east coast and was very happy with the driver and trip overall. Pool area is small but cozy and spent a lot of time there to relax. Free shuttle to Amok restaurant, nice place to enjoy food and sunset.

The location is a bit off and I could think that if you stay for a longer period it's a bit annoying there is no lunch/dinner service at the place but this is no issue if you are just there for a few days as you are out exploring most of the time.

located in the jungle amongst greenery and nature, views and pool. Very nice staff

There are many mosquitos, flies, ants, spiders and geckos during wet season so make sure to bring a strong deet spray. Itd be good if they provided some indoor anti/insects sprays to use in a tent.

Amazing place!

This place is amazing!! The tents themselves were sturdy and spacious, also well designed and furnished. amazing views from the little deck! Pool was lovely (also fantastic views). Great breakfast with a French twist, which was a welcome change from the rest of our trip. Can’t recommend this place enough!

What a “glamping” ! I never seen something like this. Tent was beautiful and cozy, clean and magical. We have great view on jungle and getting up in the morning with that view was amazing! Beautiful place, swimming pool and tasty breakfast in “restaurant” or in tent/pool. Staff was really amazing and friendly and in the tent waiting for us gift, I really recommend this place thank you! oh yes, no animals in tent ;)

It is a great unique place. One thing to try in Nusa Penida. Sleep with the jungle in front feeling nature and it's wilderness it can not be compared with a hotel room / house
