Es war rundum Perfekt.

Es war das perfekte Hotel in unseren Flitterwochen zum entspannen nach 6 Tagen Florenz aktiv Urlaub. Das Hotel sticht durch sein Ambiente und sein überaus aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal hervor. Der SPA Bereich ist wirklich ein Traum und die Zimmer bestechen durch ihre Ausstattung. Wenn man auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Entspannung ist, ist man hier genau richtig. Schon beim Frühstück wird auf eine entspannte Atmosphäre geachtet, indem man nicht das typische Hotel Buffet hat, sondern a la card am Tisch bedient wird.

Muy agradable y cocina muy rica !!

Nos gustó la ubicación y las vistas, especialmente al atardecer. Las instalaciones/jardines están muy bien cuidados y la habitación está muy bien, la cama muy cómoda. El restaurante del hotel espectacular, tuvimos una agradable experiencia gastronómica. ¡La zona de la piscina también es muy bonita! Personal muy agradable, tanto de recepción como del restaurante !! :)

Habitación con un ruido intermitente que dificultaba el descanso (parecía provenir de una máquina, no sabemos si era la nevera). Además (aunque creo que esto es algo particular de nuestra habitación), al principio tuvimos un pequeño problema con un olor desagradable que procedía del cuarto de baño (que luego muy amablemente solucionaron las empleadas), y a veces, si abríamos la ventana, también entraba cierto olor a comida (debe ser que estábamos cerca de la cocina). A modo de crítica constructiva, aunque la habitación estaba perfectamente limpia, eché en falta un olor a limpio/ambientador en el cuarto que hubiera mejorado la primera impresión.

Traumhaftes Hotel im Weingebiet, mit toller Aussicht und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Wir haben die Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise durch die Toskana erst sehr spät gebucht. Eine halbe Stunde später war vor Ort und konnten sogar problemlos einchecken. Durch Zufall sind wir auf dieses Traumhotel gestossen, da wir eine Unterkunft für unsere Überfahrt nach Elba am nächsten Tag gesucht haben. Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort, aber es war alles perfekt. Der Pool könnte man man auch als Infinity-Pool bezeichnen. Mit Traumblick. Die Zimmer waren groß, sauber und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, den man sich wünschen kann. Dusche riesig und sogar dashauseigene Duschgel hat sehr gut geduftet. Selbst die Klimaanlage lief so leise, dass man sie in der Nacht kaum hörte. Vom Check-in bis zum Auschecken war alles top. Die Dame an der Rezeption sprach sogar deutsch, was das Ganze noch einfacher machte. Da wir so spät einreisten, haben wir auch im Restaurant gegessen. Ich habe selten so ein leckeres Ochsenbäckchen an Rotweinsoße gegessen ... Der Ausblick vom Berg Richtung Meer (das etwas entfernt ist) und die die Region war wunderschön. Die haben wir auch beim Frühstück genossen. Ungewöhnlich für uns, war jedoch die Möglichkeit sich sein Frühstück individuell zusammen zu bestellen. Aber alle Zutaten waren exklusiv und von äußerst hoher Qualität. Die Ruhe am Berg war schon fast beängstigend :-) Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen !!!!!

Exceptional

Beautiful resort, lovely place where you can relax. The rooms are confortable, the shower is lovely and enjoyable. We had a room at the separate building, we had a lovely terrace - we enjoyed the stars at night. They have lovely breakfast . The restaurant is with very good food and attentive waiters.

The womans from the reception could be a little bit more ready to help.

A fabulous stay

The staff made our holiday. Along with fantastic food and wine. We did a cookery course with the Head Chef 'V', which was great fun, really informative, and made for a delicious lunch served with wine from the vineyard. The rooms were clean and really comfortable with a lovely outside veranda space. The pool area is also fabulous, which we thoroughly enjoyed after days exploring the lical area.

Fantastic find - will definitely return.

The hotel itself is absolutely lovely. The room was clean and spacious, adequate bathroom and lovely terrace (not private). The spa is not big but it has adequate facilities and very very attentive staff. The staff in general were extremely professional and kind. They catered very well to my additional "surprise" request. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends.

There wasn't really anything not to like really. Regarding the room - we could hear the couple next door "having a good time" :) - not sure if there is much that can be done about that but maybe something for future stayers to consider. Also the fact that anyone could walk across the patio was not a plus for privacy. The maitre di sala was excellent. He caught that the fish we ordered was undercooked and took it back BUT the vegetables and potatoes remained on the table so that when the cooked fish finally arrived we had cold veg. I think this was a bit of dis-attention nothing more.

Beautiful hotel with service to improve

Beautiful hotel, rooms and surroundings, delicious breakfast

Considering the price and that it is supposed to be a luxury retreat, I felt the pool restaurant food disappointing, both in terms of taste and limited selection. Room cleaning did not automatically refill empty shampoos etc, we had to ask every time. General service level of staff was not meeting expectations when booking this hotel price category.

Strongly adviced location!

Very nice and clean location. Staff always very polite and willing to make sure we were having a nice time. Spa is great, very clean and so is the pool. Really nice breakfast with lots of choices and great quality food. Free and fast wi-fi.

Very nice with great views!

I have stayed here twice now. The location is very nice on top of a hill and away from everything with spectacular views. The restaurant in very good as well and the wine from the properties' vineyard is well worth trying. Rooms are comfortable, it just lacks a little character overall but nothing to put you off staying here. Staff and service was excellent

wonderful, beautiful, incredible service and food, a very relaxing and quality experience

the most beautiful building and rooms. the pool was the best, so quiet and peaceful. a very high end hotel and the restaurant was superb. the chefs are incredible. the service was top tier and we didn’t want to leave!

the location was very peaceful but very much away from the town - which was very quiet and we didn’t think was worth a visit. it is a place where you stay at the hotel, which is fine for us but may not be everyone’s cup of tea?

perfect place for a relaxing getaway 😍

Castello Bonaria Spa Resort is the place to be if you want to get away from it all and enjoy a fantastic peaceful time in beautiful landscape, lovely food and lovely outdoor pool as well as a great SPA! We had a suite, which was very nice, spacious, clean with a lovely view… The breakfast is excellent served inside and outside on the lovely terrace. We can also recommend the lunch there. Unfortunately we did not have dinner there, but I am pretty sure it is as excellent as everything in this wonderful SPA resort. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend the SPA as well. Great interior, lovely, modern setting and very good treatments with Maria Gallant products. We had a fantastic time there and will definitely be back one day!

Majestic holiday

Beautifully located, very nicely restored castle! We spent just a few days there, but we'll definitely be returning. Everybody was very welcoming and trying to help and find a solution for any request. Antonio was doing absolutely fantastic job to make us feel like on holiday! The restaurant is not cheap, but it's definitely worth it, and not just because of the view! We even were allowed to charge an electric car, although not advertised by the property.

Maybe a bit off the beaten ways, so you'll need a car or taxi. It's a peaceful and remote place – maybe a disadvantage for someone, for us it was exactly what we were looking for.

The wine tasting, walks around the property, and restaurant food and staff were all very good.

The check-in process was terrible, and didn’t make us feel welcome. The spa was very poorly run and chaotic.

A Perfect Summer Holiday in Tuscany

The view is very lovely, it's calm. The castle is very nice, the pool was great. The food was more than excellent, the kitchen is creative and state-of-the-art. It seems that the service staff in the restaurant is reading your mind: such a courteosy, very friendly and attentive, finding solutions for all your wishes. We will come back for sure!

Beautiful castle resort overlooking the Tuscan seaside

Beautiful castle, newly renovated, with a spectaculair view - you could even see the sea from there. Staff was amazing, super attentive, swimming pool was amazing and although all rooms in the castle were sold out the swimming pool never looked crowded. Breakfast was very good, coffee great, restaurant a bit pricey but very much worth it - amazing quality, flavours, service. I'd definitely come back to this place!
