great location, okay accommodations

great location!

the mattresses were not the greatest quality, the sheets did not fit the beds well. also, we paid a cleaning fee but we were asked to clean up after ourselves. not a great value.

Perfect location!

The location was perfect to walk to breakfast, the Main Street for shopping, and hot springs.

The only issue we had were ants in the bathroom the first night, which lasted turned into ants getting into our food on the counters.

Lava

It was roomy and the location was good, did get a lot of exercising going up and down the stairs. We also liked the roof top bar and our patio

The shower was very odd, it goes all over the floor. We had read that in reviews and it’s true. We brought our own towels since there is not staff on site but we did get more towels when we saw the gal come to clean. Could have used more toilet paper too. Also was surprised there was only a microwave-it was fine for us but if you had planned to cook it would have been tough

A great stay

The apartment was a great size for my whole family. The location is wonderful. Right next to a great hiking trail, the hot spring is only a short walk away and the restaurant right around the corner is amazing.

There was no on site staff. When we needed extra towels there was nobody there to provide them. We ended up having to use damp towel off the floor. The top bunk was also not properly cleaned before our stay. My kids found a random tooth brush in threw bed. There were ants galore. And the shower leaks all over the floor.

My family loved the location and the town. We also loved the fact there was a bar right upstairs.

The location was great. The space in the apartment was wonderful as well.

There were quite a few ants in the apartment. This made it troublesome with clothing since there were no dressers or shelves to put clothing on.

Ok, but lacking in several basics

Close to downtown, nice view

Geothermal floor heating system needs instructions. Took several hours for the place to warm up, and then it was too hot and took many more hours to cool down. Not enough towels. Unit sleeps 8, but only had 6-7 towels. Since the whole reason for visiting the area is the hot springs, ideally the unit would have enough towels so residents could have one for the springs/pool and one for shower use. Bunkbeds creaked a lot (hard to sleep). Shower has a strange design that makes it impossible to not spill water onto the bathroom floor, requiring yet more towels to mop up. A single hot plate and a small frying pan should not count as a "kitchen" in the ad. Please provide some additional basics like a tissue box, hair dryer, a small table, and chairs etc. Outdoor patio had heaters but no propane. Overall it was adequate if you just want a place to shower and sleep, but really lacked some basics.

Loved front porch.

Bar on top with people passing by at all times. No sink in bathroom or mirror.
