Lovely modern cottages with great hosts

New, modern and cozy cottages. Like in Austria! Hosts were very friendly, but spoke only russian and Georgian. It was well equipped. We even were able to get a nice dinner for decent price there.

It seemed that they didn't notice our booking on booking.com and were a bit surprised of us coming. Also the room was not cleaned properly when we arrived. Freezer had leaked water and floor and rug was wet. In the end we had to clean the floor ourselves as our kids were playing on the floor. It seemed that we were just unlucky. Walls are also quite thin, just so you know. And the location on booking.com is wrong. Look it up on Google maps, that's the right place.

Nice cozy chalet. Noisy when upper apartment is rented out.

The chalet is nice and cosy and the rooms are nice and everything looks new. Bathroom is new. Next to the house is a nice place to eat. Nice view on the river.

Unfortunately, the chalet is divided into 2 floors. The upper floor was unfortunately rented out making it very noisy with the wooden floor. Unfortunately there are only 2 pans in the kitchen. On arrival there were still 3 roasted fish in one of the kitchen cupboards. Unfortunately, however, there is not enough water pressure for the rain shower to work properly. On arrival we had to pay immediately, missed the Georgian hospitality.

Vaja made us feel as we were part of his family, and his cottage with it’s surroundings must be Eden

I loved the breakfast, everything was homemade, made of self grown, local ingredients and herbs, very special and tasty Georgian food you can never forget. The fish cooked on coal you cannot get in a restaurant but here. Hazelnuts from the trees. Vaja is the most hospitable host I’ve ever met, he showed us around the area including visiting a castle from the 13th century and walking alongside a beautiful river. I felt Vaja treated us as his family, I am very grateful for this memorable experience.

I really can’t think of anything unless leaving the place at the end, we could have stayed longer but will definitely come back for a minimum of a week to get to know the area better. I’ve stored the memory of this magical place well in my mind and in my heart.

Wonderful stay

Very nice decor, very tasteful and individual, loving in detail. The accommodation was perfect, very cozy and made for a very pleasant stay near Shuakhevi.

Amazing place with very friendly hosts!

A very beautiful House with cozy garden and stairs going down to the river. Except for the place to be so special, hosts have made our stay an unforgettable experience. With all their attention, hospitality and delicious breakfast in the morning with fresh products from garden, our stay at Guest House Okropirauli was made exceptional.

Fortunately, I cannot think of anything that would come to my mind as something I did not like during our stay at the Guest House Okropirauli. Thank you again for your hospitality and nice experience!
