Would not return.

Although we were informed that you could not stand up in the sleeping area, we could not even sit up in the bed. Also the orientation of the tiny home afforded zero privacy. The balcony was facing the road instead of the beach.

Fortunately it was only two nights.

The location was the best thing about this place.

The Cypress Cottage is NOT a place for older folks. It is difficult and painful to access the bed on the loft. The windows shades did not provide privacy at night. You could see clearly the inside of the unit at night. Some windows did not have a shade. The breakfast choices were very few. Coffee was not that good. They had expresso, must have been the roast they used.

Don’t stay in cottages with “loft” unless you can crawl!

Very clean, great location.

Sleeping loft is really a crawl space. Can only access beds if you can crawl. Also steps up to loft very steep. Required to take out our own trash. Makes me wonder what we were paying such a high price for, exactly?

Recommended for families or any getaway. We left feeling relaxed and regenerated.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The property was well stocked with kitchen gadgets, towels, soap, etc. Very relaxing. Great to have a general store on site for convenience. We loved our stay.

The view…

Noisy with motor home passing early in the morning, broke down couches, toaster didn’t work, small coffee pot, need hooks no where to put cloths. These units are good for two adults and 2 kids only. Way over priced.

Great Stay

We stayed in a Sandpiper unit. The place was immaculate, bright and airy. It’s not large, but plenty of space for a couple. We really liked being able to make meals in the kitchen, as well as spending time in front of the electronic fireplace. The hiking nearby at Point Reyes is spectacular and only one hour away.

The loft is a bit tight - but we knew that going in.

nice beach with mini house but not a resort

the beach was wonderful. the trailer was new and everything was very clean and of good quality. the electric fireplace was cute and cozy. the general store was really well stocked and fun to visit. we walked the entire length of the beach 2 miles long. the beach is clean, is quiet and beautiful. great birds and waves!

the trailer was very small like a mini home. the upstaits loft has a very low ceiling. we had to crawl to bed. most disapointing there were not any actual "resort" features except for the beautiful beach. the restutant was closed mid week but we cooked some nice meals in the small kitchen.

Loved our stay at Dillons Beach Resort!

The North Coast of California is very familiar to me and I was pleasantly surprised that we had never visited Dillons Beach Resort. The cottages are very nicely decorated, very clean, stocked with great towels, kitchen wares, pillows and sheets. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The store is stocked with everything one might need during the stay. The beach is beautiful! It is a return to destination for me!

Wonderful beach town and beautiful beach. We had a great time!

Great town, perfect beach for walking, beach fire pits are great for the evening.

We were unaware that we needed to crawl on the loft level where the master bed was located. You cannot stand at all on the upper level and so you either have to crawl on your knees or scoot in a sitting position. Would be good to let people know ahead of time in case they are unable to do this.

Location was perfect! Staff was friendly. My kids loved the cottages. Definitely thinking about staying here annually.

I was disappointed that the kitchen was closed during the week. This should have been noted prior to booking. Also, I’d suggest providing more information about restaurants in the area.

Wonderful beach front and pet friendly accommodations.

Cute bungalow (tiny house) was great for the two of us and our small dog. Convenient location near the beach, with a great vantage point to watch the sunset. Close yard for the dog to do her business.

Steps to loft were a little steep for us seniors, otherwise no complaints.

Every staff member we encountered at the store and cafe were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Can’t beat the location…beautiful beach just down the road and wet suit/surf board rentals. The shop has a great variety of grocery items and cute/unique souvenirs.

The walls were not solid, light shine through between slats and you could hear everything you and your guests are saying in the bedrooms and bathroom. The living room was better. The gift shop had minimal sizes for sweatshirts, but I think they were probably in between shipments due it being early summer.

Power went off. No response from emergency number. Didn’t know how long it would last. Was back on when we returned later in the day.

Overall a nice experience.

The upgraded cozy cottage. Short walk to the beach.

Power went off for a day and no internet connection later that same day. They claimed they were unaware but we could see the work throughout the area. I would have preferred their honesty upfront warning us in advance.

Very clean, adorable tiny homes, and Dillon Beach is stunning.

Everything was perfect.

The only thing I’d say was difficult was the sink is so small in the bathroom. Hard not to have water spill all over the floor. :(
