not somewhere i’d go again but was decent enough to stay

i’m t was close by to the places we wanted to go and was close to a morrisons

Hi thank you for our stay however i have a few complaints regarding this weekend; the first thing would be the fact that it took you until 4:30pm to tell us the address and caravan number which we had already drove 2 hours in that time and phoned and texted you around 15 times before getting the reply which is highly rude. The second thing would be the fact you said to refer to the map which you never emailed me so had to go and ask people as you’re caravan isn’t on the map. thirdly once we walked into the caravan there was a instant hit of a horrible smell in the caravan (like a wet dog smell) which made us all feel ill, once looking around the caravan we found that the smell was coming from a mouldy mop bucket that doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a long time. (photo attached) There is also mould growing on the curtains near the door as well as on the back of the sofa, there was also only half a toilet roll which wasn’t helpful as you didn’t say that we needed to bring any. Unsanitary kitchen utensils ie, glasses, pans, knives and forks which were unusable and caused hassle when we wanted to make food and drinks etc meaning we had to spend money on eating and drinking out when we had brought food originally. (photos attached). When using the shower, for around 10 seconds hot water was provided and then it continued to dispense ice cold water meaning we couldn’t wash properly. Other than that, it was an okay stay however it definitely lacked in hygiene to the point the sides haven’t been wiped over. Sorry for the complaints but i had to address them so you could correct them in order for your next guests, thank you again!

The site and the place were fab, but wouldnt stay in this caravan again.

The caravan itself was very old and worn, but it slept everyone. The owners were informative. The location was good, and the site itself was very nice. Also the shower is super!

The mattresses are very old and very uncomfortable. The bedding provided was stained and the matress protector on the double bed was very soiled. We didnt sleep well due to the matresses. The cooker was very unclean so we didnt eat in there. The veranda, is very old and has rusted through in places. Didnt feel safe enough to sit on. Also the electric radiators.dont work, so was very cold

Disappointed.

The location was fine.

The caravan was filthy had to wash all the pots and utensils before use wipe down all work tops thick dust on all ornaments I have stayed in some bumps in the force's but nothing to match this sorry.

we had a wonderful time the location was perfect close to all the amenities pleanty of shops and takeaways.

the property was ideal for us having dogs, it was clean.

the doors were very stiff and the gate broken, we did still manage to close the gate so we could leave the doors open on warm days and not worry about the dogs, but it was fiddly.

Absolutely avoid

The caravan has a good flow of water in the shower room. Close to amenities. Situated well. For what we paid for this caravan we were extremely disappointed. Even a friend said we were overcharged. No central heating.

The caravan was filthy! Not one area was clean. If this Was my caravan I would have been embarrassed to let it out. Carpets nor sofa was hoovered. Massive big mark/ spillage on carpet not been cleaned. Worktops were filthy. Shower room smelled, and Shower base was filthy. Kitchen table hadn't been cleaned. Hoover hadn't been emptied. Bin hadn't been cleaned. Tea towels look as if they've not been washed in months. Blinds are all broken. All sinks and draining board were filthy. Cutlery filthy. I don't expect to do cleaning until I leave the caravan but had to clean from top to bottom when I got there! I have loads of photos too. Shirley Scoular

Exceptional

Great value for money caravan in a good location on the park. Clean,tidy and very comfortable. Owners easy to contact if needed, they did text on first and last day of the break to check everything had been ok.

Beautiful caravan.

Very clean and tidy Comfortable beds Spacious Got very warm with heating and fire on a cold night. Spacious shower.

The toilet was very small especially for larger people. Heavy rain meant that the bottom of the steps outside flooded and was quite deep.

Good

Very homely good location. A dated caravan but exactly what we paid for. Had an excellent stay and we even had some extra bits in the cupboards that families could put to good use.

Was difficult to get the fire working so it was quite cold.
