Perfect quiet and relaxing getaway

Only a 4 minute drive to the Savannah Beach parking lot (make sure to download the Park Mobile app before you get there to make paying for parking easy) - it’s a great beach for small kids, no waves but plenty of shallow water to play in and easy walk from the car to prime sand spots. There’s bathrooms, a concession stand, and outdoor showers to clean up after the beach. The house is also close to the downtown shops and restaurants. The backyard and pool were lovely and very private and the large screened in back porch was fantastic for eating and relaxing after a beach day. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook most of our meals at home.

It’s an older home without a lot of frills - could have used a kitchen table, more nightstands, and a comfy chair or two. Truly though the only thing we lacked was handsoap and a cookie sheet.

Passable

The pool and the porch were the best part of the experience.

The "bones" of the house are good and the location is convenient, but not walkable to the beach. Dead plants greeted us at the front door, which was unlocked. The house needs some TLC. It was not terribly clean. There were an incredible number of flies inside. The kitchen sink leaks underneath. Multiple light bulbs were out. The dryer knob is broken so you can't tell what setting you are using. The towels all had to be rewashed because of a strong mildew smell (because of a poorly functioning dryer?). Many sheets/pillow cases were stained so we didn't know if they were clean. The microfiber sheets kept popping off the beds because they were not deep pocket sheets. That left us sleeping on the plastic covering

The stay was pleasant and rooms were very comfortable.

location was perfect! garage came in very handy since it rained most of the time and we needed to get ready for a wedding.

bathroom in master was a little small but worked for me.

Passable

The front yard needs more care looks more like end of winter. The houses around have a well taking care landscaping but this house looks like an abandoned property.

The house is nice but the bathrooms are small and outdated. The windows are too old and dusty. The patio around the house is not inviting at all, the sofa in the family room is full of stains with a dusty smell, and the kitchen is not for a family that enjoys cooking as is very limited of utensils. The truth is that the pictures looks much better than reality. The staff in another hand are extremely nice and helpful.
