Peaceful, clean, inviting and secure - perfect for our annual stopover.

We stay here every time we drive through to the coast from Perth. The staff are always delightful, the property is well maintained and the kids love the peaceful grounds.

Toilet and shower in cabin expected for $168.00 per night but had to use amenity where all campers showered etc. better available in Carnarvon for less money

Reception put additional charges on our credit card without our consent

Met our needs for an overnight stopover

Reception sneakily us overcharged us by using our credit card details without our consent. We were required to provide credit card details on checkin. Full fee for accomodation was charged at checkin. Shortly after checkout I noticed another $40 debit from Capricorn Holiday Park. I called to check what it was for and was told by reception staff it was the remainder of the fee. I checked the fee in my email booking confirmation and could see I had been charged extra. Extra $40 only refunded after I complained. Be careful providing credit card details to this place- I wonder how many people they’ve overcharged!

Poor quality for amount charged

I have stayed in many units in caravan parks. This one was poor quality accomodation for amount paid. No attention to care and detail. Shelving coming off walls, mould on windows, no heating and temperatures under 10 degrees overnight, kitchen powerpoints in ridiculous places. Rude sign on wall saying they would charge $50 if you didn’t do your dishes before you left but didn’t give us any cloths or tea towels and we didn’t realise until after reception had closed.

Great place for a family get away in comfort

A lot of places like this provide the chalet and furniture but no bedding, plates, cups, anything else. I bought all my own incase, but was very impressed to see the bunkbeds and bed kitted out with comfy and cute doona and pillow sets, cups, plates, cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, electric portable stove, air conditioning, and even chairs out the front to sit on. There was a smart tv for the kids, and with 6 of in the chalet it still didn’t feel cramped due to the layout. the beds were comfy and the bedding was freshly cleaned. We arrived at 8.30pm due to car trouble and had our key, map and wifi password put in the lockbox with a code to access it txted to us, which made it easy once we arrived as the 4 kids were tired and ready to relax after a 10hr car ride. The pool was big and well maintained and the kids loved it. We had a power outage whilst cooking breakfast (our fault, there was an aircon, tv, stove, kettle and microwave going at the same time), and the staff had it sorted within 10mins.

I’m picking at straws but the showers and toilets could use updating as there was some broken areas and they weren’t the cleanest, but it was dirt coming in from outside, not mould or anything awful like that.

great value for money

great value for money. place is well looked after, clean, maintained, organised. friendly staff and great facilities, nice and clean pool, clean bbq and kitchen areas. nice recreational area too. we stayed at a family cabin, extremely clean and well maintained. nice kitchen and living room. good air con in the main bedroom and living room. overall would recommend and stay again.
