About this house rental
Bring the whole family to enjoy the mountains at this modern and cozy home. Sleeping a total of 12 people, this level home has room for everyone. Pet friendly with a fee. Enter onto the middle level that has a large living area with a TV and a spacious kitchen with all the amenities. The living area also has access to a covered back porch great for enjoying coffee in the mornings. There’s a single bedroom on the middle level with a queen-sized bed as well as a full-sized bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find three more bedrooms, another full bathroom, as well as a laundry room. The bedrooms have a king-sized bed in one, a queen sized in another, and two twins sized in the third. The bottom level is large and great for kids as it has a TV and 2 large bunk beds. GARAGE IS NOT USABLE. The home itself is just a walk away from most of the activities on the mountain including ski slopes, hiking trails, many restaurants, and more. Plan to stay here on your next mountain vacation!

This property was great for spending a few days on the slopes. There are a multiple quality bed rooms. Plenty of sleeping if some are willing to stay in the same room. A short trail leads straight to the slopes. Only complaint would be pictures are a little outdated. There are new couches which is cool. However there is not a futon anymore, this required a bit of unexpected sleeping rearrangement. There is also a fire pit which I am a big supporter of. However I would have brought wood for it if known. This is just preference over buying some at fred's general store. Checkout process is super simple. Overall it was a great place to stay, would definitely rent again.

Fantastic location for our ski trip consisting of 3 adults and 4 children. Ski shop and pizza place (w arcade) are right across the street. House was clean and warm with enough beds to comfortably sleep 12. Would definitely stay there again.

The house is centrally located near the town hall, ski slopes, and sledding hill. It was clean and the kitchen is well equipped with even an instapot and 2 coffee makers. The living room was a bit crowded with our family but we were outside most of the time. Definitely need to bring your own bathroom soap, hair dryers, and shampoo. The office would have supplied it but we just purchased some at the store. We enjoyed our stay there and the office help were very friendly and helpful.

This property is close to the slopes for siso or riro. Covered deck is nice, close to restaurants and also has a kitchen that we used for cooking with no issues. Would definitely stay again at this location!

Very positive, we had ten people and the sleeping set up was perfect. The house was an easy walk to the slopes, the home was in excellent condition, comfortable and walking distance to Fred’s and Brick Oven Pizza. We hope to go back next year. There was a fenced in area for our standard poodles.

We stay slope side at Beech every year and this is one of our favorite cabins! It’s so close (walking) to Fred’s where some of our friends rent gear, and so easy to ski in ski out. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things needed to have a good weekend! Only thing we bring is a crockpot for chili 😀 it’s also much bigger than most slope side cabins which makes it really comfortable for a big group!

From the beginning ( making plans), the trip was great. This house is fully equipped for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing. A view of the slopes would be enjoyable, but it’s only a few-steps walk to the slopes.

We had a great time in Beech mountain. The house was nice and it was great to have a fenced yard for our pup. The cool weather was what we came for and we got it. The location of the house was good for restaurants and for easy hiking/walking. The ladies in the rental office were very friendly and helpful!

Comfortable well appointed house
This was one of the most comfortable houses we’ve stayed in at Beech, and we’ve been doing family trips there for over a decade. The kitchen was by far the most spacious and easy to navigate, which is important for us. The weather is unpredictable (we missed the snow by two days), so having a house that allows family to be together is a priority for our family trips. Thanks for hosting us!

We planned a last minute spring break ski vacation and found this home that is centrally located to the town and ski resort and for what we paid, it was a good deal. It is sort of ski-in, ski-out if the neighbors are friendly and don't mind you walking across the back yard to get to "The Meadows" ski run. It was a big house for the four of us and can handle a group with someone in every bed if everyone manages their turn in the two bathrooms. Laundry room is upstairs with a full-size W/D. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, utensils and glassware but you will need to bring condiments, spices, etc to prepare meals.
Unit was relatively clean and I don't know that the criticisms of the conditions of the house are fully warranted. No telling how many weeks a year this house is rented out, but there is normal wear and tear that a rental property is bound to experience and it may be that the den furniture is due for a refresh. The bed pillows are due for replacement and if the master mattress is new, a memory foam pad would be a welcome addition.
You can walk to pizza and BBQ and drive two minutes to Mexican food, or 15 minutes to Banner Elk. We rented ski equipment from the store in front of the house and the prices were great.
Overall, we would recommend this unit.

The home we rented was overall great. The location was great! The home floors could have been cleaned better. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced with flooring like the rest of the home. The dishes had to be all washed again because they were loaded into the dishwasher all together and weren’t cleaned. Able to walk to the slopes, was essentially ski in, ski out, made it possible to go back to the house for lunch and to warm up. Very small fenced back yard, but enough for a dog to roam around off leash. Directly across street from pizza and other shops. House itself was dirty and not in good condition. You’re staying here for the location, not the house. Rental agency was quick to respond when we had an issue with the fireplace.
