Fantastic, restoring, everything I had hoped for !

The location was quiet and peaceful. The property was beautifully presented, sparkling clean and had everything I needed for a quiet stay. I will definitely book again.

Great Stay

I can echo other reviewers comments, we really enjoyed our stay at Pringle farm. We stayed in Ascot, a 2 bedroom suite. It was really cosy inside and surprisingly spacious. The lounge and bedroom had a smart TV equipped with YouTube, Amazon etc. which was great to use and the kitchen was nice and modern. The underfloor heating was a great addition and kept us warm for our stay. We recieved a lovely welcome hamper full of biscuits, jams, cake, eggs and bread along with milk and butter in the fridge which was appreciated. The property was in a great location, only 20 minutes from Cambridge park and ride. Lots of shops locally to buy food in. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was nice and powerful, although the hot water did run out quite quickly. Overall we thought it was good value for money, the property had a nice luxury feel to it and we would recommend if you want to explore the area or just have a nice break away.

Our entire stay was wonderful. If we were to be fussy then I guess there were a few things we thought might be able to be improved but this is really nit picking. The hairdryer in the bedroom was a cheap hotel dryer that you have to continually press to use, which was quite annoying and didn't feel in keep with the rest of the luxury facilities in the property. Most utensils you can think of were provided in the kitchen, but not in great quantity, so we found ourselves washing up very regularly. It might be because it was only the two of us staying so we weren't provided with as much which is fair. Or maybe we just use lots of utensils! The mattress in the bedroom was not to our liking as it was quite firm and also squeaked, but that's personal preference and can't really be knocked. And lastly we found the cleanliness to be nearly spot on, however we did find a mug with what appeared to be sugar all inside it in the cupboard. This must've been missed because everything else was tidy and clean so we weren't too fussed. Overall these minor things wouldn't put us off staying again because on the whole it is a lovely property.

The setting was beautiful, the accommodation was faultless, genuinely. I was also bowled over by the provisions left, such a surprise! The toiletries smell great too. Recommended it HIGHLY.

Spacious and clean barns with lots of character

The barns were spacious, modern and clean. We were a group with two barns side by side. checking in was easy through a lock box and we appreciated the welcome basket.

The heating was difficult to regulate, but we just opened windows to reduce the temperature

A great little getaway!

Very nicely situated and a peaceful location. The converted stables and replicated ‘barn style ‘ homes were very cleverly done and felt just right set into the local vernacular and environs.

a good interior let down by a miserable outdoor experience

the location was good, the property interior was very clean, modern though a little bit cramped.

the outside space was unusable. it consisted of a fenced off area which held what looked like an air-con unit or some such. not really enough room to swing the proverbial cat (not that i ever would) and had weeds growing in between the few paving slabs there. a high fence ensured that there was simply no view outwith this exercise yard whatsoever, though people in the neighbouring properties could be very clearly overheard and in fact there were gaps in the fencing through which people could see in. also, given the close proximity of neighbours, i had on 2 evenings, to hurriedly close all windows and doors due to cigarette smoke which drifted in and this was less than ideal given the very warm temperatures we had. also the chatter from neighbours just on the other side of the fence gave a sense of a lack of privacy. further, the kitchen area was provided with a total of 3 dishwasher tablets and what really looked like a small cut-off 1/4 piece of j-cloth for cleaning/wiping etc. it felt really mean spirited and not what we would have expected. all in all, a mixed visit. a shame in a way, as we felt that the outside badly let down the inside.

Beautifully appointed property in a beautiful location - watching the sun go down on the terrace!

The property was beautiful. The way it has been decorated and furnished was lovely and warm. We felt really at home here. There was a beautiful spacious kitchen/living room, which had pretty much all the kitchen implements that we needed. The TV channel choice was fine and worked. The wifi was good. We loved sitting on the terrace, with the beautiful view and smell of lavender, watching the sun go down.

Although the beds were standard size, they were quite small for a couple, and we didn't sleep so well. Whilst the property was well appointed and decorated, the owners will need to keep an eye on it, because in a few places, the wear and tear will develop quite quickly,

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay, lovely grounds and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The welcome hamper was fabulous and greatly appreciated. The barn was spacious, bright, very well equipped and very comfortable. The little yard outside with double doors opening onto it was very private and much needed as it was an extremely hot weekend.
