The cabin sits just past the Wimberley Playhouse, Blue Hole Park and the Corral Theatre on a hill that boasts some of the best views in the Texas Hill Country.

The details in this cabin add to the charm of the area. With it's tin ceiling, log walls and plenty of windows provide a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. This spacious cabin provides all the amenities of home with the breathtaking beauty of nature all around.

Enjoy the breezes from the rocking chairs or porch swing while taking in the views. Commune with nature while watching the deer graze. Spy the fox, or see if you can spot the armadillo under the live oak tree. Hike the hill, stroll the lane, watch the sun set, then count the stars as the cicadas sing.

Once inside, set a puzzle, play a game, or wind down with a little Direct TV. Then drift to sleep in the comfort of the king sized bed with dreams of tomorrow's adventures.

It is a cabin in the hills with a great view. We watched a rainstorm roll in from the south which was amazing. There were deer crossing the property and it was mostly quiet with the occasional sound of a passing automobile. Other than that, it was just birds and bugs. This property is located close enough to San Marcos and New Braunfels that you have your choice of rivers to visit, Blanco, San Marcos, Guadalupe, or Comal. We booked last minute, so the local attractions that require advanced bookings were unavailable. We landed in San Marcos and had a wonderful day on the river.

The cabin is quaint and clean. Tucked in on a hillside just outside of town but a quick drive from the town center. The kitchen seemed well equipped but we did not cook at all. There is no WiFi as another guest mentioned but cell service works. It was not an issue for us but might be for some.

It was so peaceful with a gorgeous view. It was hard to leave the porch between the beautiful sunrise in the morning and sunsets at night. We ate every meal out there. Not to mention all the deer that passed through the yard every single morning and evening. We were at peace here. It was perfect and exactly what we needed.

My husband and I really enjoyed our brief respite from the city. We loved getting to renew our familiarity with the Wimberley area. This cabin was the perfect spot when we were done with our wandering. Close to the town with great shopping and restaurants, but far enough away to not feel crowded. The cabin had a shabby chic vibe throughout and an amazing view from the back patio. The view was truly stunning!! Super clean and inviting.

This must be someone’s beloved home. Furniture was beautiful and must have been curated over decades. View from porch was peaceful and sun streaming in from the back porch in the early morning was amazing. Out in the country, but close to town with great restaurants and little shops. Halfway between Austin and San Antonio, was perfect location. Walked neighborhood and saw lots of deer. Just perfect, we will be back.

I’m can’t believe how lucky we were to find this gem! It was perfect for the night before my best friends wedding and day of. It’s adorable in pictures, but even bigger, more quaint, and cozy in person. The porches are everything. It had everything we needed and including a stocked kitchen to make tea and breakfast. Loved having a full size fridge. We especially enjoyed the rosemary bushes out back and sunrise from the rocking chairs. Very clean, no WiFi but our phones had service/hot spots. Easy to find even late at night.

I would highly recommend this super clean and cozy cabin with a great view of the Texas Hill Country. This cabin is also located very close to downtown as well as Blue Hole Park. We loved drinking our morning coffee and an evening glass of wine on the nice sized porch. We also loved seeing the deer walk through on the game trail as well as a sweet little red Fox!

A very pleasant hill country cabin. Enjoyed the view from deck and the deer that visited often. Nicely furnished, loved the reverse osmosis water system and new Weber grill. Close proximity to town was convenient. We would highly recommend and plan to stay here again.

The property was very well cared for, and very nice. A few things that we were a bit disappointed by. The photos look to be more secluded than it really was. (a lot more highway traffic noise than expected) My hubby has never stayed in a vacation rental and was a bit taken back about the items in the frig that belonged to the owner. and the car in the garage. But we did enjoy the game trail that goes across the property. The deer and fox and the house cat seem to be quite at home. BTW-YOU MUST GO TO THE HAY CITY STORE IF YOU STAY!!! Food and Margrita's are excellent... Avoid the Chili by the Creek.
