Nice house
Nice house
The house is very comfortable with plenty of room to enjoy and very clean. The patio did not have the hammock shown in the pictures. It has a big tree with nice oranges to make your own juice. Neighborhood is not that good. Middle class residential houses. Next door are several old and rotten cars on the driveway: not a nice view. Nothing within walking distance. Downtown is a good 20 mi it’s on the highway. The only restaurants on the area are the fast food ones. It was really hot, so not pleasant for tourists.

Price posted is misleading-pay attention!!!
Price posted is misleading-pay attention!!!
Be prepared to PAY. The listed price for this house is for ONLY TWO PEOPLE. If you have MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE (and why wouldn't you in a house with FIVE BEDROOMS-why on earth would two people ever rent this house?), it's another $30 PER NIGHT PER PERSON. WHAT????? For four people, this house was really $60 per night MORE than what was listed. Throw in a couple dogs, and all the fees and taxes and it averaged WAY MORE (over SEVEN HUNDRED PER NIGHT). I was out of options for multiple reasons so booked this but it was insanely expensive. Given how much it costs, you'd hope it would be top notch. The house is just like in the pictures, and is very spacious. HOWEVER, I was surprised by how beat up some of the walls were-dirty, scraped, marked up. This was especially noticeable in the stairwell and master bedroom but there were multiple areas that need to be repainted, repaired. There is also almost NOTHING IN THE KITCHEN except tableware. There were no measuring cups or spoons, no bakeware (we were there over thanksgiving and needed to cook!). There was one small baking sheet. There wasn't even a large salad bowl. No salt and pepper shakers. No ziplock bags, no food storage containers. There were pots and pans (which were quite nice) and a colander. We made salad for four in a large pot. There wasn't a cooking spatula-I made fried eggs and had to use a BBQ spatula (and my eggs were a mess!). There wasn't even a pen or pencil or paper. No games, not even a deck of cards. No kleenex, we had to go buy our own. Oh, and there was ONE DISHTOWEL. ONE. Luckily there were plenty of bath towels so I used hand towels in the kitchen. The beds were cozy, I will say that. lots of blankets and pillows. The bathrooms were quite nice though the towels were really worn, not soft and fluffy. The backyard was so overwatered it was like a wet sponge in the middle of the day. I also had communication problems with check in instructions. I messaged the owner/management company TWICE during the day while driving up from LA and there was no response. I arrived at the house at 5:45 pm after an 8-hour drive, in the dark, no way to enter the house. At that point I did finally find a number to call and was able to enter, but only after convincing them to let me in immediately because they were asking me for a photo of my ID and the credit card I used BEFORE they would give me the code to the front door. We did gain entry but seriously!!

Spacious and lovely home
Spacious and lovely home
Family gathering for a funeral. Lovely home. Very spacious. The decor was amazing. The kitchen shelves and pots/pans were stocked for up to 6 people. If you have a large group like mine (12) and plan to do lots of cooking, you may want to bring some pots/pans, dishes, and extra bath towels. The neighborhood is not great; drugs, gangs, and homeless people surrounding this amazing home. I consider this listing a diamond in the rough rental. That said, the property itself was great and communications with property manager and owner was good. Thank you for your hospitality!

The property was very clean, had nice furnishings and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit pricey for four nights but we enjoyed it and it was close to family in area.

We traveled with 10 people and the house was perfect. The house was so spacious that we didn’t ever feel like we were on top of one other. Inside the house you can tell that it was well taken care of and everything was very clean when we arrived. The house isn’t in the prettiest neighborhood but we never felt unsafe and the neighborhood was super quiet. Plus the house had an alarm you can set when you where away or staying. All supermarket stores where close by so were the highways to get to your destination. Overall the house was perfect for our four day trip. Thank you Teya for your communication.

Wonderful house-horrible neighborhood
Wonderful house-horrible neighborhood
Driving to the home raised our eyebrows. We had paid a lot of money to spend the week in this home and based on the description and pictures were quite excited. Our expectations began to drop as we drove down the road to the home. The home itself is in good shape. Clean, beautifully decorated, amenities were perfect (except no can opener). The neighborhood was rough, to say the least. From the loud music blaring from the neighbors yard - person hanging out in their front yard with all doors open to their car blaring pretty rough music with words that made me cringe. We were awoken 7:00am on Saturday morning with yelling in the front yard, the resident next door yelling with someone two houses down on the other side of the home we were in. Hateful words and threats. We could not leave the home to even go to our car as the threats were pretty violent. Within about 2 hours the police show up and break it up.
