The ambience of the hotel was perfect you've done a great job with the decorations and I felt very comfortable in your living rooms upstairs. Centrally located to where I wanted to go which was Robbers cave, the talimena byway, and broken bow lake. Charming is all get out your place.

There was only one plug in the room and it was not in the bathroom. The shower seem to vary in temperature even though I set it where I originally wanted it. So in other words I kept having to readjust the temperature. No sweat I got my showers in. You might want to take a look at the plumbing in the bathroom I thought I smelled some sewer gas. It wasn't overwhelming but you might want to take a look. I would definitely stay there again but I would want to stay on the top floor to avoid all the noise. I actually had to laugh the last night I could hear someone snoring but I'm not sure which room it was. As is often the case with older buildings the floors squeak and the floor above me was really squeaking bad when people moved around up there. Plus I could hear anybody talking in the lobby. Keep working on it you've got a gem in the making.

Really appreciated all the lovely outdoor areas just to sit and relax. The free snacks and water were much appreciated too. The owner was very welcoming, patient and gracious.

I couldn’t find a way to adjust the air conditioner in my room. But the ceiling fan made it pleasant anyway. Would be nice if they had a listing of the tv channels in the room info.

Owner was great and establishment very clean. Bed very comfortable.

I was told reservation for room with double beds for 2 adults, one child. Got there and room had one bed so adult slept on hard floor. Only complaint i had. I was charged for double bed room.

No breakfast, but the diner across the street had great food with pricing to fit small budgets. The hotel had snacks and free beverages throughout. I couldn't have found a better place to stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast? The coffee bar was nice, but breakfast wasn’t a option.

The charm of the place. A lot of history!

EVERYTHING ! from the moment the host opened the door we felt like we were home. We had the entire place to our exposure, stay down in the bar / kitchen having drinks and enjoying some music with no one bothering us and with a full bar waiting for us. We do a lot of traveling, so when we are excited about a location....it has to be an incredible place ! They have everything you need and more. I've already recommended The Hootie to several friends

There was no breakfast, but there were bags of Chex Mix or granola bars here and there. For the price, a nice breakfast was really in order.

Better price for what we got. Since there was no breakfast (as was advertised) we felt the price was really steep. The building is lovely and Talihina is a lovely little town, but we'd already eaten at the Hateful Hussy the day before for breakfast, so we wound up looking around for somewhere else to eat. The value for just having a room with water that took forever to heat up (and sometimes never did) without breakfast was disappointing. The free water to drink and snacks were greatly appreciated.

This is a very old remodeled hotel. It is like stepping into the 1880s. It is in the center of Talihina and is very comfortable.

They don't have a breakfast anymore. The rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator.
