Located in the beautiful Southern Hills development near the Beavers Bend State Park entrance, The Hickory Hideaway Cabin is sure to become your family's vacation favorite for years to come. It's sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms and two baths making it very convenient for larger families or multiple couples.
The spacious upstairs master suite features a king bed, private bath, and French doors leading to a private balcony. The 2nd bedroom, downstairs has a queen bed along with a set up twin bunk beds with doors opening onto the main deck. The 3rd bedroom, downstairs features a Queen Bed. Additional bedding includes a sofa-sleeper for two in the living room.
Meticulously furnished throughout, this luxurious cabin features vaulted ceilings in the great room, highlighted by a wall of windows facing the forest. It’s open living and dining area provides plenty of space for larger families. Dining table for 10, bar seating, and a fully equipped kitchen make cooking "at home" a breeze. The great room is accented with 2 recliner chairs in addition to couch seating. Bring your best stories when you huddle everyone around the wood burning fireplace for the night or take everyone outside for s'mores around the fire pit.
The large deck areas on three levels include open, covered, and shaded areas. Relax in the hot tub nestled among the trees or sit out on the porch and enjoy the tranquility and ambiance of the private wooded views. Kids will find plenty of things outside to keep them occupied including a outdoor play set, a horseshoe pit and a Foosball table.

This cabin is pet friendly. Guests may have two (2) small dogs with a $20 per night non-refundable pet fee. All dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in/on the beds otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply.
Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dog kennels are available for rental from Kiamichi Cabins. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. Property damage or excessive cleaning will incur an additional expense.

We loved the location of the cabin near Beaver's Bend State Park. The property was really beautiful with lots of trees near the creek. The layout of the cabin was great with the master bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We were there right after Christmas, so we enjoyed making S'mores by the firepit. The wrap-around porch was very nice. The only issue with the place was that the dishwasher was stained/dirty and had a smell, so we just washed our dishes by hand.

Very nice property with a lot of room and ammenities. The only thing lacking was that there were no string lights around the play area and fire pit. The back stair area was a little dark.

The place was nice, clean, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The one and only complaint is the water. Smells awful! Makes the whole house smell like sulfa/sewer. Otherwise, the place was awesome!

Only negatives - the downstairs bathroom had a very strong sewer smell (everything worked fine). My twins (who slept downstairs) didn’t seems to mind but would smell up entire cabin if we didn’t keep door closed. Hot tub wasn’t very hot, so not sure if something broke on temperature settings (but again, the kids just wanted a hot tub). HOWEVER, everything else about this cabin was perfect. Great for a small family. Loved the decor in the cabin. Loved that the master suite was upstairs. Fantastic deck and outdoor fire pit area.

Once a year my siblings and myself has going on vacation together, and for the past three years my family and myself wanted to do something closer to home since the pandemic, and we have been almost everywhere, but the cabins has been one of the best vacation ever, you guys has everything that you would imagine that a home should have, we normally will go our own way once we on vacation, but there we do everything together as a whole and spend most of our time together now while we on vacation, just cooking and sitting outside and talking about the old days.

It was nice, there was so many things to do within a few miles. We went horseback riding and kayaking. Our family enjoyed our week up there.

Good time, but disappointed.
We made some great memories with our family! We enjoyed the fire place, deck, hot tub & outdoor space. But, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin. VERY dusty. The air filter & return air vent was caked with dust. Filter had not been changed at least 6 months or more. The blinds & mantle & all the decor were also covered in dust. There was a horrible sewer smell from the downstairs bathroom. The bath tub was also clogged & there was a lot of hair in the drain. The dishwasher was very dirty on the inside & did not clean the dishes well at all. I would except paying close to $400 a night to have a very clean place to stay!

Our stay
This is a nice cabin with a couple of exceptions. The upstairs shower is so small it’s difficult to move in and I’m not a large person. Secondly the water from the faucets smells and taste like rust. All of the sinks and toilets are stained an orange color I’m sure due to this. Otherwise it was great!

We had the most amazing family trip! We have 3 adult children and 3 younger kids and we had PLENTY OF ROOM AND THEM SOME FOR ALL OF US!!! We only had 2 small issues, every so often we’d have a rotten/sewer smell in living room, nothing a little air freshener didn’t help. The other issue was with the downstairs bedroom with bunks was very warm even when ac was on !!! Other than that we WILL DEFF TRY AND BOOK AGAIN! Thank you for a GREAT week!!!!

The cabin was awesome abs the room accommodations were perfect. Property great for all family members.
The kitchen could use a new can opener as the one provided does not work and a better microwave. There were no bags for the corn hole game so it could not be used.

Overall we had a good stay. Pros- Beautiful living and outdoor space. Great for families with kids with the playset and bunk beds. Cons- Bedrooms downstairs smelled like mildew and downstairs bathroom smelled like sewage. Didn't ruin our stay, but for the price I'd like it to be cleaner.

Outdoor amenities were wonderful! We enjoyed the games, hot tub, playground, fire pit and played hide and seek by the creek! Lazy time was spent in the living and dining areas eating and playing games.

Wonderful getaway!
We loved this cabin. It had everything and then some. It felt like you were in a treehouse when on the back deck. Beautifully decorated. Will definitely come back. Only thing was it needed a good deep cleaning. Lots of dust on the things out of reach and the floors needed moped. The top of the baseboards have been neglected for awhile. Other than that the sheets and bedding were clean...toilets...countertops...all were clean.

Small Getaway
I booked the cabin as a change of atmosphere to my everyday life with my kids and a few friends. It definitely was needed and was quite relaxing. It took us a bit to find somewhere to go swimming, but enjoyed spending time together regardless. There was two fans that did not work which were on the back porch and in the living room, but other than that I would definitely book with this cabin/company again.

We had the best time and was fun for all ages. Many things to do in the area for all ages. Was most relaxing if you just wanted to chill outside on porch or inside the cabin! It was very nice not to have to pack or bring a lot of kitchen amenities or bed and bath items! We had a great time!!

Due to Covid and Deployment we missed a lot of family time. This was the perfect place to reconnect. We enjoyed all the amenities the property offered. We were just a short driving distance to go hiking, fishing, and canoeing. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend for families with kids of all ages.

The place was perfect for our family. It was beautiful and it looks clean to me. The only thing that needs some attention is the Jacuzzi and the outside grill. I think both needs to be clean but other than that I would live to come back with my family!

Loved our time at the cabin!
The cabin was very comfortable, well marked, easy to check in and out of. Very pretty location and the hot tub on the back patio was great! We had all we needed to cook several meals in the kitchen, plenty of fluffy towels, and being able to wash and dry laundry while there was super convenient. The kitchen sink had some old food particles in it when we arrived and the dishwasher didn't work well (the soap dispenser didn't always open to release the detergent), but it was otherwise well cleaned and easy to maintain. We just hand washed dishes and made it work. The games in the closet were nice to have on hand and there were plenty of blankets for everyone. My personal favorite parts were the wood burning fire place and the large kitchen table so we could all sit together. Hiking in Beavers Bend park was just down the main road. We had a nice time. Thank you for a fun Christmas stay!

The house was clean and nice. Quiet place to spend a few days and relax. The light over the stove doesn’t work so it was a little harder to see while cooking. Also the knob on the propane bottle for the grill doesn’t function like it should. Couldn’t turn the gas off which is a hazard in my opinion. The grill did work just fine. Would stay at the home again.
