Stay was perfect for a bachelorette group! Perfect location, so close to the beach. Private pool was very convenient as well. The house did seem a bit unclean when we arrived, dust on mirrors and light fixtures, mold in upstairs shower, and we were not provided enough toiletries for the weekend. However, overall a great house and we really enjoyed our stay!

This house was absolutely great for our family trip! The location was steps from the access to the beautiful beach. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals. We really enjoyed the pool and the extra refrigerator in the garage came in handy.

Our first time to Destin and the location was fantastic!! The home was beautiful and the rooms so spacious. We had all needs addressed promptly by the property manager.
I do understand how challenging it is to "stock" a rental home reasonably, but the one thing I would suggest is enough kitchen towels, paper towels and toilet paper. Had a broom but no dust pan. These were small things and we would 100% stay again. Highly recommend.

House was over all nice. It was wonderful to be 100 foot from the beach, and have our own private pool. Having 6 bedrooms was also a plus! However I was disappointed in not being able to check in even 30 minutes early after an 11 hour drive, also saddened by the 3rd floor shower in comparison to all the others of the house.
The bikes required maintence prior to riding. Trash cans smelled so bad and were filled with maggots and over filling with trash upon check in. (What made it worse was the fact that we had to wait until exactly 5:30pm to check in do to "cleaning and inspection." Then we weren't even able to put our trash in the cans for our first 4 days...even after the property was "cleaned" before we got there. There was trash under all furniture. Dirty toenail clippings on the floor in the kitchen floor upon arrival. the house was left in better condition and cleaner than when we got there. Air conditioning on 2nd and 3rd floors were unable to keep those floors cool. Last night the 3rd floor bedroom was 80. 2nd story bathroom toilet flushes but needs extra attention and effort.

Overall a great stay! I get it’s Florida but a lot of cockroaches inside the house! Maybe better pest control and seal weather strips around doors. Also no kitchen dish towels. Great location, easy access to beach. Accurate description of home. Easy check in. Nice small pool. Bikes were nice.

We recently stayed a week at this beautiful rental and absolutely loved it. Communication was quick and easy with the hosts. The home was gorgeous with a great location. We were so close to the beautiful beach. The entire group loved getting to go to the ocean at night and watching the little crabs run around. There were beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys ect. One of our favorite vacations yet!

We had seven adults, a child, a toddler and two babies with us. This house was perfect! It was a super short walk to the beach - perfect for kiddos and older adults. The private pool was also perfect for the kids! The house is set up with large families in mind - and the sitting area is so great for comfortable conversations with plenty of room for cooking, eating and kids playing. Very luxurious and comfortable. The king beds are amazing! We also loved how big the showers and bathrooms were! I’d absolutely stay at this location again. It was perfect for us.

Nice home, great location!
Positives: spacious home, great location close to beach access, private pool was a winner with our kids, great collection of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc; 6 very nice bicycles, ample kitchen pots and pans, bed in 3rd floor bdrm was very comfortable and Joey at SoWal property was generally helpful .
Negatives: lack of info on tv service and instructions, garage crowded with furniture (I had to rearrange furniture and park bikes on front and side), fire alarm went off one night at 1 am and again at 2 am (there was no fire or smoke so unsure what set off the alarm; spoke to Joey at Sowal property and he said the humidity level can set the alarm off ???), electrical sockets in 3rd floor bathroom were loose, batteries in the tv remote in family room were weak, and some minor maintenance items - no latch on front picket fence gate and the latch on the gate to the trash can area needs some attention.
Overall, we would seriously consider staying at Grateful again.

Wow! A perfect location to the beach, shops, and biking trails nestled in a cute Barbie doll neighborhood directly across from the beaches.
Immaculately clean, bright, heated pool. Plenty of beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and , bikes to use. House fully equipped with kitchen supplies and incredibly comfortable beds..Another plus was each room has its own bathroom. Definitely booking this house again.. The owners servantly responded immediately to any needs.

Family vacation
I would like to start by saying Joey was exceptional with his communication from booking to while we were there. He always responded promptly to questions and concerns. It was our family vacation of 8 adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room and very clean when we got there. There were some problems with things not working while we were there but they were addressed and I understand there are going to be upgrades/renovations coming soon. A little disappointed with the beach access across the street. When you get to the beach there is a ling area of private property where you cannot put your things down so have to walk a bit. Overall, it was a great vacation. Tropical storm Fred blew over us and we ended up having great weather.

This place was amazing! So spacious for our large group. The en suite bathrooms were fabulous. A short walk to the beach as well as a pool! It was very clean and well equipped. Great communication with the owner. No complaints, absolutely loved our stay!

Great Stay Overall
Our group of 9 chose this property for the great location and large property size. Everyone was very comfortable and said the beds/mattresses were great. The walk across the street directly to beach access was ideal. Joey helped us contact beach rentals to get our chairs/umbrellas reserved in advance which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared several meals during our stay. We did utilize the heated pool and enjoyed that. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.
The negatives include lack of hot water, even if staggered showers the water never was above lukewarm. A few bedside lamps in bedrooms with no working light bulbs - I did send an email after check-in without response but decided it wasn’t worth going through a lot of trouble to have replaced. One of the bicycles had a flat tire and couldn’t be used. All minor complaints except for lack of basic amenities. Make sure to read the fine print in your rental agreements which describe a “starter pack.” This means 1 roll toilet paper per bathroom, 1 paper towel roll, 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods. We did not realize there were no extras until toward the end of our 4 night stay. You don’t want to have to run out and buy these things last minute before you leave so I texted management this time and was told they have “32 properties” and it’s “extremely expensive” to furnish extras but that we could have more toilet paper and trash bags... Just be aware the listing says luxury but do not expect enough of these amenities for a house of this size if you plan on staying more than a few nights.

Loved the location and size of this home! Short walk to beach and short drive to shopping and many restaurants! Very spacious and loved the 6 bathrooms! Well equipped. This house is great! So much room. Large bedrooms and large bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. There are outside balconies off every bedroom except the bedroom on the ground floor.
The location of the beach house on west Scenic 98 is fantastic! Has a beach neighborhood vibe and beach access is right across the street.
Joey was awesome. He was quick to respond to our needs the couple of times that we reached out to him. We will be coming back again for sure!

Fun vacay
Very nice property. We loved the pool and the house was very large and spacious so it accommodated our family very well. We were disappointed with the use of the dryer as it did not work. I brought that to Joeys attention, but it was not repaired before we left. The beach was beautiful and it really was a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately the beach chair companies were somewhat aggressive in claiming their beach space. Overall the vacation was great especially during this time of Covid-19. Again it was great to have a pool and the use of pool toys, chairs and bikes. We also loved the arcade game that was in the kid’s room!
