This home is perfection and immaculate! The bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine. The first floor living area had a large dining table where we feasted on clams we harvested in Pt. Judith Pond(with the help of our brother in law who grew up fishing and clamming in that area!) A full bath, a generous living room with a sofa so large we comfortably had eight people lounging and playing games. The large side yard is completely fenced in (one side of the yard was one of those beautiful old and hand crafted stone walls.) We spent many nights on the pristine six person Adirondack dining set with accompanying extra four Adirondack chairs. The home's wood floors, built in book shelves, ceiling moulding and fireplace surround were impressive. We brought our dogs and despite my sensitive nose, I could detect no "dog smell" entering the house. It was fresh and clean smelling. The upstairs living area had an equally big kitchen, four well appointed bedrooms a large living room with full bath. The washer and dryer were definitely a bonus. Misquamicut State beach was a quick drive away and well maintained. We highly recommend their RI Doughboys! We also recommend eating at Spain, Iggys, Boone Street, Georges and of course Brickley's Ice Cream! My only regret was not taking a family photo on the beautiful hand laid stone entrance. Overall, we cannot say enough great things about the home and look forward to coming back next year!

House was plenty big for our group. It has 2 kitchens which was great but mainly used downstairs kitchen because it was easy to eat out on deck. Short drive to several beaches.

Our stay in Wakefield was comfortable and convenient. The house was nice, had plenty of rooms, clean, also nice and cool during a humid July week. It was also conveniently located in Rhode Island. A short distance from the beaches, and to downtown Wakefield and Newport. 3 stars were given due to some minor updates needed on the property.

We had a picture-perfect family vacation in Wakefield! With multiple state beaches nearby, a charming town center an easy walk away, and plenty of grocery options nearby, the location was the perfect launch-pad for summer fun. And as a family that usually lives in a smallish apartment, spreading out was so luxurious! And we had still had plenty of room for friends and family to join us. We were also delighted to find out that the space has central AC, which is a really nice perk on sticky August days. Highly recommend!

Booking this property and the check in process were easy! We paid the cleaning fee (which is standard I’m assuming) and an extra linen fee for our stay. The house was pretty dirty for having just been cleaned when we arrived. We found food under our beds on the third floor and the floors were really dirty. We also had a mouse problem. There were mouse droppings on the kitchen counters, under the kitchen sinks and in some of the kitchen drawers. The renters were very responsive and had an exterminator come out. He removed 6 mice. At the end of our stay, we had to strip all the beds and bag our linens which we thought was a little excessive. We then had to bring in the new linens for the next guests. This was a “vacation stay” but we feel like a lot needed to be done by the guests considering what we paid for.

Perfect Family Vacation Home!
Perfect Family Vacation Home!
I have nothing bad to say about this property! It was perfect for two family’s of 4, with 4 kids all under 8. Lots of room, and the second kitchen upstairs made it perfect for each family to be together but have their own area. Centrally located to the beautiful Wakefield center, walking distance to Mews, and Brickely Icecream, and a short 10 min drive to Narragansett Town Beach. Great place, would recommend and go back again with the family!!
