Long View is exceptional in it's location and in it's presentation.
Built to enhance comfort throughout, with a large social area in the open plan kitchen/living/ dining area, a great layout for entertaining.
2 king bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom ( 2 single beds). 3 shower rooms.
A study with spectacular views is located in the middle of the upstairs of the house. A fairly unique feature in a holiday home.
Fully functional kitchen.
Incredible views from every room looking out over the 3 islands to the west of Waternish and further.
The property is in a dark skies area,so star gazing when the weather is clear is awe inspiring.
A real treat, not to be missed.

This property was absolutely stunning. We stayed three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids (ages, 11, 14, and 16) used this property to explore the Isle of Skye during a two week vacation in Scotland. The views from the huge windows were breathtaking. It is such a peaceful location. The house itself was spacious and clean. With a 5 of us it's always a challenge to find a property where we are comfortable. With 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, everyone was able to have their own space. The washer and dryer were essential as this was the midway point of our trip and we had quite a bit of laundry to do. The only suggestion we have is to provide instructions for how to use the stovetop. We had to Google the model to learn how to use it. We would love to return to Skye and stay in this property again.

Long View exceeded our expectations. This property and location had it all. Immaculate and well curated accommodation with spectacular views and lovely walks. Be sure to check out the Stein Inn and Loch Bay restaurant just a stones throw away. I highly recommend this wonderful property!

We loved the views, the layout of the house, all the natural light and space, the stocked kitchen, the mud room, and the separate washer and dryer. We all slept peacefully and enjoyed cooking and relaxing here. We want to visit again.

Stunning water views and a beautiful home. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Nothing like a hot shower and a cozy sofa after a long day of hiking!
We also enjoyed our neighbors! Sheep, deer, bunnies, friendly cats, cows, chickens, roosters and a variety of birds! The best Skye has to offer!

The pictures of the property don't do it justice. Not only was the home immaculate and beautiful inside, the sweeping views just added to the whole peaceful experience. Hosts responded to quickly to enquiries making this the perfect ending to our family Scotland tour.

This is a beautifully situated home with many amenities. The peninsula has a lot to offer with artists and a cafe within walking distance. There is, however, a CO2 detector in the master suite that beeps every five seconds nonstop.

Beautifully presented house with tasteful decoration, lots of space and in general good facilities. We had a wonderful x2 weeks in Longview over Christmas and Hogmanay enjoying the amazing views over the Minch when we weren't out walking the hills. unfortunately when we arrived the satellite TV and remote control wasn't working properly. Our attempts to communicate with agency managing the property were problematic and in the end we just gave up. The shelves in the fridge door were cracked and broken. The only way to make them usable was duct tape. Having x3 ensuite bathrooms is fabulous - they go great with the fluffy towels provided. Just weird that no bath mats were available! In reality these are not major things. The house is really nice and we made allowances for things being fixed given it was Christmas. However at this price range you expect things to be pretty much perfect going. Especially as one assumes all of the above were obvious issues to anyone.

We enjoyed this stay so much that it redefined some of our life goals. The home was amazing and the views were absolutely stunning. The home is immaculately clean and very comfortable, equipped with everything you could need and the accompanying tablet in the home has informative videos to show you how to use all the features. Communication was very clear with the hosts. We loved the area so much we can’t wait to return.

The house in Waternish is amazing! The picture window views out to the view across the water are STUNNING! The house is perfect with everything you need for a stay off the grid and away from it all - log burner with a large TV, bookcase full of books - highly recommend and will definitely be back when we come back to the Isle of Skye!

Long View is amazing inside but the real stunner is definitely the views!! Wow!! Could not get over the beauty outside of ALL the windows that face the water (and most of them do!) If you want to stay someplace on Isle of Skye that will take your breath away this is it! We cannot wait to return!

We loved Long View, what a beautiful home! So comfortable and well equipped, such amazing location, could not have been more perfect. We cooked together, took walks and went on outings together, and this home house accommodated both private time for each couple as well as plenty of space for shared time. We met local Waternish folks and loved watching as new lambs were born every day! We will all treasure our time together in this gorgeous home. My husband, two teens, and mom had a wonderful stay at Longview for four nights in August 2022. The view was spectacular. There was someone staying in the adjacent rental, but we never saw or heard them. There is a rooster on their other side, so bring earplugs if you don't want to be up at the crack of dawn! The road was quiet and provided lovely walks each evening. For the first two days, it was unseasonably warm, so it would have been nice to have had some lounge chairs outside (there is only a picnic table, but plenty of room for more seating). The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar were provided. We did find there wasn't much space to store unrefrigerated foods, so had to improvise a little. I had thought there was a king size bed in one of the bedrooms, but the larger beds are all queens, so my large husband and I were somewhat cramped. The bathrooms and showers were all wonderful. Several fans were supplied for warm weather. Plenty of closet space was available for clothing. There are lots of books, so not necessary to bring your own. The sofa in the TV room is incredibly big, soft, and comfortable, and I considered sleeping on it more than once! All in all we had a wonderful stay, and would definitely return.

I cannot thank you enough. We used Long View as a base for our first visit to Skye. We were there primarily to take my mother to St Kilda for her 80th Birthday. You made us all feel very welcome. The house was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be recommending it to all our friends.
