About this house rental
This large beautiful oceanfront home (over 5300 sq ft) sleeps 20 with pool and heated spa has everything you need and is mid-way between the Kure Beach pier and Carolina Beach's famous boardwalk. There are two separate gathering areas to accommodate large groups. The main living area has large sweeping views of the pool and ocean and seats 13 people easily. It also includes a round table seating 6 for playing games, working on puzzles or as a second dining table. The ground floor has a large recreation room with seating for 7 around the TV.
Enjoy the beautiful east coast sunrises while drinking coffee from one of the oceanfront decks while listening to the calming sound of waves crashing. Or go for a walk along the beach looking for seashells. Relax on the beach and ride the waves or tan on our spacious decks and dip in the 15x34 foot saltwater pool. You have your own private walkway to the beach. You won’t find crowds here. The nearest public access is 10 houses down and a private development access is 4 houses away. You can live like a local by taking advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and grill or enjoy one of Pleasure Island's many restaurants. Pleasure Island (Includes Carolina Beach and Kure Beach) has many wonderful attractions to appeal to everyone to include historic Fort Fisher, the NC Aquarium, the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, sailing/boating, fishing and shopping. Each night offers a different adventure from Sunday night open air movies at the lake to Thursday night live music at the boardwalk and fireworks (one of the best displays around and visible from our beach walkway). Don't forget to visit Britt's Donuts at the boardwalk (ranked #2 independent doughnut shop in the US). Venturing further afield to Wilmington presents additional fun such as visiting the USS North Carolina battleship, the riverfront downtown with shopping, restaurants and boat tours or Airlie Gardens.

Sleeps 20 Sleeping Configuration: 3 King Bedrooms (1MBR Suite and 2 ensuite BRs), 3 queen bedrooms (one oceanfront with an adjacent bath). Built in bunkbeds in large rec room in ground floor which include, 2 Twin over Full bunk beds with 2 twin trundle beds, 1 Queen Murphy Bed on the 3rd floor.
With all the amenities you could want including, pool with hot tub, high-speed wireless internet, DVD player, washer/dryer, Jacuzzi tub in master bath, garage parking, plenty of cookware and kitchen supplies. Beach equipment is available for your use which typically includes 8 or more beach chairs, 1-2 boogie boards, sand toys and pool toys. We also have a shuffleboard table, putting green, toys and games for all ages. There are 2 pack and plays as well as 2 booster seats. This is a non-smoking house. This is our home 8-9 months of the year so we take pride in providing everything you might need and keeping the house and the furnishings in superb condition--our family uses it as is.
There are 4-6 parking spaces. Two in garage and 2-4 in driveway depending on car sizes, The driveway is 35 feet long.

Out of dozens of rentals we have stayed in, zero compare to this house. It is like staying at your own home. They say bring your clothes and food - they are not kidding!!!!! We could have left beach chairs, shade, etc at home.
We had a party of 13 and had tons of space. The living room and kitchen are perfecting for socializing. The beds are very comfy. The layout is perfect. The downstairs was great for our teens.
The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. All the pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and even spices. There are tons of paper products in the bathroom. The back porch has great afternoon shade and the pool was a HUGE hit.
The hosts are excellent communicators and Jimmy (property manager) meets you when you arrive. He explains the house and all the amenities. His communication exceeds all expectations.
This is THE house to rent.

This house has everything! Spacious rooms, beautiful deco, incredible master bedroom, awesome family room, wonderful kitchen/dining area, great recreation room, and each of the bedrooms and bunk beds were great! The deck was so much fun - lots of great furniture to relax and party. The pool was big and we were in it for many hours during our stay. This house has everything you need and more for an amazing vacation. We made many wonderful, fun memories during our stay. Would highly recommend this beach house. The owner and manager were awesome to work with too!

Parents and kids had the time of their lives. It's an absolutely beautiful home with lots to do. Everyone had fun at the beach and pool with beach and pool items provided. The shuffle board table was a big hit with everyone joining in a tournament play.

Our family enjoyed all of the space to gather and loved the ocean views. The pool was a good size and we loved the walkway to the beach and walked every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise. We love Kure Beach for the quiet “away from the crowds” feel and didn’t leave the island all week. Thank you Pat and Al for sharing your beatiful home. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. We had an issue with the hot tub that was remedied in just a couple of hours. Thanks to the property manager, Jimmy, that answered or resolved any situation without hesitation.

This home was the nicest we’ve stayed in. Almost everything was perfect. Because they live in the house part of the year, the quality of everything was better than most beach rentals. Very well appointed and we really didn’t need for much of anything.
The beds are very comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. Plenty of seating and space. It’s big enough of a home that you can get away from the group if you needed too. Kitchen had everything you couple possibly need. The pool was fantastic and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. And the walk to the beach was great. No hills or much to deal with so good for our older guests.
Only negatives I could point out was no elevator, but the stairs are wide and sturdy. Totally doable. The parking was tight. Two cars in the garage and 2-3 in the drive. And it is on the busy road. That being said, road noise wasn’t really an issue. We just had to play musical cars often.

Home was clean, exceptionally well stocked and perfect location. Plenty of space for ages 8-67 to have fun and privacy. Enjoyed the ocean and pool from morning until dark. Check in and out was very easy.

Our family of 17 - ages 16 to 77 - so enjoyed our stay. Nonstop games at the table on the porch and in the house - card table had a puzzle going and our family set up interactive Jeopardy and Family Feud on the TV. The living area had plenty of seating for all to spread out but still be together.
Cooked in all but one meal including 4th of July cookout. Great kitchen with two refrigerators and counter space, pantry and supplies.
Cornhole tournament on the beach, lots of pool time and games and surfing, swimming and floating in the ocean especially in the morning. In spite of the heat the covered porch was pleasant in the morning and late afternoon and evening with a nice breeze and fans. Napping and reading too. Brought a shade (Shabumi) for the beach which was needed.
We laughed - we all have older appliances and felt pretty stupid in the kitchen! Jimmy was so helpful with a thorough check in and answering questions during the week and helping us with a low country boil setup.

The home was great! We have small children and a baby for our gathering and everyone had a blast. The kids loved the bunk beds and everyone enjoyed the pool. Perfect location to the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops. Pat was a great host and Jimmy was responsive on site and gave a thorough walkthrough when we arrived. We hope to return soon!

How provided absolutely beautiful views and the beach right outside was not densely populated. Proximity to both Carolina and Kure was perfect, but not so close that the beachfront got too busy. The house was stunning and incredibly spacious, as well as having everything we needed to feel like we were at home. The kitchen was very well appointed, we made several fresh fish dinners there with a beautiful view from the large kitchen table.
The large covered deck was the perfect even spot and the pool was clean and had loads of noodles and toys.
There were some areas that could have been slightly cleaner, likely just because of the tight turnaround between guests.
The property manager was incredibly thorough and responsive, the best we’ve ever experienced!
If we are ever coming back to this area, we will 100% look to book this property again!

Great Beach House
A fantastic house and location. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for our family which ranged from 80-6 weeks old. The walk to the beach takes about 20 seconds and we loved having the ability to go back and forth between the beach and pool. The house was large and spacious and all 16 of us were able to spread out when needed. We spent most of our time on the awesome back deck. We would definitely come back.

Family beach week including 8 adults & 7 grandkids
This house and the whole rental experience was wonderful. The day before arrival the property manager, Jimmy, called and offered early check in at 2:00. So nice. The house is exactly as the photos show. The main living space and kitchen are HUGE with ocean and pool/spa views. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out, lots of seating, a large dining table, a card table we used for the puzzle. The kitchen is so well stocked as the owners live there 9 months of the year. We like to cook, hard to go to restaurants with young grandchildren, and we all enjoyed the spacious kitchen. On the first floor, the bunk beds were fun for the kids, with 2 additional bedrooms for some adult supervision. The master bedroom and bath are unsurpassed! Just check out the photos!
I knew there was a whole house generator but never thought we would need it until a transformer blew on the street. The generator kicked in automatically and we did not lose anything. Good response from the property manager, and power company replaced the transformer within a couple of hours.
I highly recommend this property and will rent again in the future.

We all really enjoyed the large kitchen space with practically every appliance, gadget and spices you can think of.
There were plenty of bath, pool and beach towels which was very convenient.
The pool and convenience to beach was perfect.
It would have been nice to have some umbrellas at pool side. They also need a new hot tub cover.
The check in and check out process was seamless.

This house, the view location and amenities provided here were perfect for our family vacation . Perfect Beach House
This house is beautifully decorated and equipped with anything and everything you can imagine! Thirteen of us stayed comfortably for a week. The beach directly in front of the house is quiet and not crowded. The street was busy when we arrived on Saturday but settled as the week went on. Jimmy, the property manager, was helpful and very nice. The property owners, Pat and Al, made booking easy and were quick to respond to any questions I had prior to traveling.
This house has it all—Beach chairs, pool toys, boogie boards, fishing poles. Only a short distance from restaurants (Michael’s Seafood was delicious), fishing charters (our guys had a great time with Hot Ticket Charters) , Icecream parlors (Squiggly’s was our fave), and the Kure Beach Pier. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Extended Family Retreat
Perfect home for our extended family reunion which included children as young as 2 and grandma at 86. Plenty of kitchenware for a family that makes every meal altogether. Best part was the gorgeous outdoor deck where we could all gather and eat together and enjoy one another’s company looking out over the fabulous pool and unobstructed private beach view! Memorable 50th Wedding Anniversary Family Celebration
This is a spectacular well appointed home located on a quiet part of the Beach. It is ideal for intergenerational family gatherings with beautiful space for sleeping, cooking, eating and playing. A great vacation home
This house was great. It had everything you needed from beach/pool towels, pool toys, beach chairs, cooking dishes, etc. The house provided plenty of room for the 16 of us. Jimmy, house manager, was very prompt in resolving the pool/hot tub issue. Thanks Al/Pat for your help in that as well. It was very much appreciated. Best beach trip ever
The house is absolutely beautiful and it was so nice having our own pool and hot tub. The beach was fantastic and so peaceful. We loved that there weren't huge crowds on the island and we didn't have to worry about our kids (both 12 years old) like you would in a more touristy area. Pat and the manager, Jim, were always just a text away to help with anything we needed. Jim really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great vacation. Overall it was the best beach vacation my husband and I have ever had!

Large family vacation
This was a beautiful home with a beautiful beach. The beach and town never felt crowded, even in peak season, which we enjoyed! We enjoyed having all of the beach chairs and games available and pool items already there to use. The spacious living area and kitchen was awesome for our family to gather all together! Beautiful decor! The covered deck was great to sit and watch the waves and those in the pool out of the sun. The views were beautiful!! It was great that each sleeping area/bedroom has their own bathroom! The master suit was fantastic. Pictures and description on the website were exactly as advertised. Property manager Jimmy was very nice, helpful, informative, and responsive!! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Property owner Pat was also very responsive before and during our stay!!!

This house was even better in person and the photos were amazing! There is everything you need at the house and the beach was just a minute away. Pool and hot tub were a big hit with the kids and the adults! Jimmy the manager was very communicative as were the owners. We will be back for sure!

Perfect week
We had three families and enjoyed everything about the house. Location was great, 25 steps to the beach, the pool was perfect and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to paper towels. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you!

The great vacation!
We were concerned about Covet 19. But upon arrival realized we would be fine! The house was big enough for the 12 of us and the beach was was wonderful! One of our sons would take chairs, umbrellas, and toys down 8-9am. People coming to enjoy the beach were very considerate about social distancing.
We made out fine with meals. We cooked ourselves, we ordered out from our favorite restaurants, and a number of times ate out! We were very careful with masks , using sanatizers before and after and of course the restaurants were wonderful holding to all the rules.
The children loved our vacation and can’t wait to come to your place again!
