The Space: The interior of the home offers a relaxed yet fresh take on traditional coastal design, while still being fun and family-friendly. Vibrant colors are balanced by classic neutrals that create an inviting space both inside and out. This 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home sleeps 12 guests and has a private, in-ground pool complete with outdoor shower- making it the perfect place to relax with family and friends.
On the 1st floor, you will find the light-filled great room with vaulted ceiling and an open floor plan overlooking the water. The well-equipped, spacious and beautifully designed kitchen has top of the line appliances, quartz countertops, brass fixtures, and an island that seats 5. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area has seating for 8 and opens up to the expansive wrap-around porch, which includes both a screened section and an open/unscreened section with a grill. The screened porch area accommodates dining for 6 and also has an additional seating area with a sofa and twin rocking chairs. The uncovered deck section features a grill as well as lounge chairs for catching rays and a circular table with seating for four, perfect for mid-afternoon lunches al fresco. Designed with several inviting lounge areas, the porch is ideal for morning coffee, sunset hors d’ oeuvres, grilling, family dinners, and more.
The main living space offers seating for 10 or more and has a 65-inch flat-screen smart TV with a soundbar, a modern gas fireplace and a well-equipped mini-bar. A spacious laundry room with a GE stackable washer and dryer is located just off the family room and also offers stairway access down to the pool. The custom pool which can be heated in the winter makes this a luxurious year-round retreat when you don’t feel like making the short (less than ¼ - mile) walk or drive to the lovely and quiet beach access at 9th Street West.
On the 1st floor, you will also find dual master bedrooms, each with a king bed and a dedicated and luxuriously appointed en-suite bathroom with dual sinks. The front porch features a bench seat and a single hanging chair, perfect for curling up with a book or for taking in the quiet views off the front of the house. A stylishly decorated ½-bath powder room located near the entry foyer rounds out the functionality of the 1st floor.
An additional master bedroom, kids’ bunk-room, entertainment loft/lounge area, and an office/extra bedroom can be found on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor king guest room has a Juliet balcony overlooking the marsh providing a lovely perch from which to enjoy your morning coffee. This room shares a full bathroom with the office that also has a queen pullout sofa. The custom bunk-room has three built-in twin beds and one built-in full bed and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom (with dual sinks and a tub for bathing the little ones) with the loft area. Perfect for family fun, the entertainment loft/lounge area has a foosball table, a 50-inch flat-screen smart TV and lovely water views—an ideal place for both children and adults to unwind and have some fun.

This is a must stay property! From ease of booking, to quick replies (via email and text) from the property management, we couldn't have asked for more. Folly Beach is a wonderful destination for families, and this home was perfect. A big front yard to play in, a perfect dip-sized pool to enjoy after the beach, an outdoor shower and hose to rinse sand off, and a quick 5-minute walk to the beach. The home is located on a secluded, quite street, surrounded by lush trees and vegetation. Add a golf cart to your visit and you can easily get "downtown", to restaurants, the beach, marina, and state park.
The home was clean and had beautiful new appliances. The additional ice maker was clutch! The beds were amazingly comfortable and the rooms had spacious closets and bathrooms, and ceiling fans. But like any beach house, be aware there is no stopping the sunlight from coming in. All the more reason to get up and enjoy what Folly Beach has to offer (which is a lot!).
I want to thank the property management for replying to my text messages and making our stay so memorable. We are forever in love with Folly Beach and 13 Red Sunset!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The convenience of having a private pool was throughly enjoyed. The house contains all amenities for a comfortable stay. Close enough to downtown and Charleston. Communication and response with manage was timely and welcomed.

Everything was great, except the owner had turned off the A/C in the house to save money and when we arrived it was 92 degrees in the house. Once this was correct it took over a day to get the tempeture to an level that was pleasent. This house is beautiful, we had a family reunion and everyone was happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. Charleston is about 15 min away.

The house is just spectacular! We just went for a week with 7 adults and 3 kids and it was a perfect fit. I loved the interior decorating so much that I might try to replicate in my house lol. Some previous reviews mentioned the construction right next door but the majority of the work is done and they are mostly working on interior items so it wasn't a bother at all. It was a short walk to the beach, the property management company had everything covered (even washcloths specifically for makeup removal). Even has a pellet ice maker that was heaven! We would totally stay here again. Thanks!

Family time
Perfect space for 6 adults and a 2 year old. Very clean and comfortable. Great location to beach and town. Kitchen had everything we needed for many family meals

Nice but noisy
Great house with clean comfortable beds, BUT be forwarned that there is ongoing construction all around this residence. They seem to be working even over Saturdays and Sundays. Tough to get in and out of driveway at times. Also the elevator is only permitted to be accessed for handicapped guests, so be prepared to haul your luggage up 20 stairs to the first floor and 20 more to the second floor bedrooms.

Nice house but construction next door caused huge problems.
Upon arriving, we were in awe of the beautifully decorated home. However, a new home is being built next door and it looks like a landfill. The contractor has a very unsightly construction zone. The workers take up the parking area and do not make any effort to move their cars when we were trying to back out. Furthermore, my daughter ended up with two nails in one of her tires the night before we left. After walking around the parking area, we discovered about 10 nails. Some were rusty and very likely left over from the construction of our rental. The others were clearly from the work being done next door. As a result, it caused us to lose our last morning on an already short weekend getaway. Even though management credited us $300.00, it was still disappointing all the same! I would not recommend this home for your vacation.

Hard to Relax
This house had pros and cons. Pros-the location-a very short walk to the ocean and quiet end of the island, the porch with the sunset view, the screened in porch, the plunge pool, the style of the house. Cons-the construction was from 8-6 everyday we were there, which made it hard to enjoy coffee on the porch or relax in the plunge pool. Biggest drawback: the palmetto bugs (cute name, but still cockroaches)-a giant one crawled on me in bed, dead ones in the other bedrooms, another live one in the shower. We stay at Folly every summer and this is the only house we've stayed in with roaches.

Awesome vacation
Everything was as pictured. Wonderful bedding, towels and accommodations. The oven & dishwasher were a little hard to use, but finally figured it out.

Red sunset
Stayed at the Red sunset for a week and had a great time!! The house is comfortable with a large kitchen and ample decks. Short walk to the beach and minutes from downtown Folly. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and beautiful sunset views! Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay
Overall, the property was superb. It is close to the beach and town and is well equipped. The oven is a bit cranky to light, but works well once it gets going. The only downside was construction of a new house right next store to ours. It was extremely noisy from 8 AM to 6 PM every week day. Fortunately, we were out and about most of the time, so we only heard the noise toward the end of the day, when we returned.

13 Red Sunset
Beautifully decorated, well appointed home. Just a short walk to the beach. Water views off the large back porch. This sturdy home weathered tropical storm Elsa while we were there. Loved our stay. The only negative was the rental company wanted to come on several days and make repairs during our stay.

Relaxing getaway
The house is absolutely gorgeous - just as nice as the pictures show. And comfortably furnished. Great location just a quick walk to the beach and short ride to restaurants etc.

Beautifully Decorated Home and Amazing Sunsets
Stayed here for my wife’s 40th and daughter’s 13th. We had a blast being on a quieter end of the island and just a block from public beach access. The house is perfect and has amazing sunset views. Hope to come back some time!

Great beach get away
Wonderful location just a short walk to the beach and it has a beautiful view of harbor and sunset from the back screened in porch. Lovely open floor plan with modern furniture and decor. Kids enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Property manager was always prompt to respond.

BEST HOUSE IN FOLLY
The house is amazing and the layout was perfect! Every bedroom has its own bathroom and a half bath downstairs. This place is furnished beautifully! There are multiple decks and a screened in porch. We will definitely rent this house next time when we visit folly!

Form over function
This is a gorgeously appointed home but we were very disappointed in the comfort of the furnishings. Lovely to look at but beds and chairs were totally uncomfortable. Very little surface area in the baths and bedrooms. TV was mounted so high on the wall it would have been difficult to view.

AMAZING PROPERTY
We were lucky to be the first family to use this new home. Everything was absolutely perfect.
The top tier touches and features make this a premier property.
The quite neighborhood is just a block away from the beach and the decks have wonderful views of the Bay. The layout of this home has a lot of master bedrooms and would be perfect for a family with kids.
