Nice central location very clean and modern
Lots of steep steps to the property very dirty and slippery outside area no cleaning products left for use eg dishwasher tablets washing up bowl

Nothing at all.
Everything - 4 x over 60yrs old women had to climb stairs, darkness, filthy grounds, drug dealers around the location & opposite property. Friend slipped outside due to bad and slippery flooring. Friend suffering with a bad heart walking up nasty staircase where used needles were seen on the ground. We all felt vulnerable and scared as different men & women were hanging around the property whilst drug dealers were dealing. We have taken plenty of photos in order to fight for our monies back. There was a fraudulent transaction made from my credit card, which was fraudulent as I did not give anyone the authority to withdraw funds for a property we did not book. Our order for Rose Cottage was made and paid on 24th April 2024, 7 days later it was cancelled by somebody accusing me for that cancellation, then on the 1st May 2024 another property replaced what we booked for and funds was taken from my credit showing the price of the replacement property which I did not give authority for this transaction the same I did not give authority to cancel our original booking. At this point we were not aware that the property had changed because we did not received any notification of this. It all came to light upon arrival at Rose Cottage on the 18th October that somebody else was there already. We then checked the information received a couple of days before our travel did we then realise, We've been scammed. This situation is and will be taken forward for investigation as nobody is providing evidence or proof that I made this cancellation.
A gentleman by the name of Salim asked for my email address via chat in order to send a code for the ferry, the code sent was not accepted by Wightlink ferries.
We have taken loads of photos of the property pushed on us in order to fight for our money back.
Vulnerable women located in a dark, backstreet area and an area where drugs dealings were happening.

Location was good
Apartment could have been cleaner overall. The sofa bed was unusable as it was so uncomfortable and it wasn’t the cleanest, so really has two double beds so sleeps 4. Outside the apartment and the neighbouring properties are unpleasant and not a great welcome. There is decking outside which was slippy when it rained and the metal staircase leading to the apartment needed better lighting, it was pitch black on an evening, does have a light as you approach the door, but the stairway does need lighting, not ideal for anyone with mobility issues or prams. Couldn’t use oven as all the temperatures and settings have been scrubbed off, couldn’t get washer to work but this could have just been me, but no user manual. Towels were on the smaller size would recommend taking your own. En-suite shower in master room is only suitable for a smaller person and the floor will get soaked when using it, however the bath in the main bathroom is lovely a spacious and was nice and clean.

The access to the property was not at all acceptable and suitable

Flat was nice and spacious.
Top floor shower curtain was stained with moulds.
After checking out the host called that he could not find the keys in the lock box and demanded that I leave my breakfast in the restaurant and return to the property even though I insisted that I had left the keys in the lock box. Clearly he didn’t believe we had checked out.
I was horrified and confused as I had left the key in the lockbox as required. My 11 year old son and I had to stop our meal, carry our luggages back up the hill to the property only to get another call apologising that the cleaner had taken the keys and was inside cleaning but could not hear his knocks on the door. Couldn’t he have checked with the cleaner first before making such assumptions and inconveniencing us? He didn’t sound to me a nice person and I will not stay there a second time.

The accommodation was spacious and within walking distance of shops and transport.
The location was noisey as near to the high street and up a hilly approach. The outside of the property was very unwelcoming, but nice once you were inside and very spacious. Certain parts of the property, carpets and en-suite could do with a face-lift.

It is exactly as in the website.... No catch at all
I will not say i didn't like it but the instruction to find the entrance was bit confusion for me.. Apart from that everything was superb

Spacious for a family, as described and in town
The double bed was in an awful condition. The mattress was completely worn. It’s not just a case of ‘I didn’t find this mattress comfortable’ .. the mattress was not fit for purpose for two grown adults sharing the bed.

large rooms, 2 loos, central location.
Stained carpets, piles of stinky rubbish by the entrance, no covers etc for bedding for sofa bed, only comfy seating for 3 people, smelt damp.

Modern, clean apartment. Central location. Very quiet and good for a family. Comfortable beds, lots of hit water, great bathroom. Lots of pluses and would stay again.

Large spacious rooms, airy and bright. Generally cleaning standard good. Plenty of facilities nearby including shops and takeaways. Good Central location.
Surrounding outside area rather scruffy with piles of rubbish.
Kitchen poorly stocked with equipment, not enough crockery and cutlery for number of guests. Carpet badly needs cleaning

Has a lovely piano that is in tune.
House is relatively modern and cosy.
-We had informed that we have 5 guests but there was only towels and blankets for 4 guests.
-No toiletries (shampoo, soap) in the whole property.
-Raised these 2 issues to staff through text, was acknowledged, apologised and offered to give more blankets towels and toiletries the following day, but did not happen and we were not informed of why.
-we then enquired why where the above not delivered, they informed us that housekeeper was sick so could not attend. This reflects poorly on the service provided. There should be communication about this and an alternative solution should be provided. This has caused one of us to sleep without blankets which is not ideal. Worst still 2 of us have to share a towel which is not hygienic. The lack of communication also cause us to shower for 3 days with no soap! The communication misled us to not buy soap for the rest of our stay and this is very unprofessional.
-the entrance was very dirty with piles of rubbish, could not open kitchen window due to rubbish pile.
-went to the wrong entrance as welcome pack did not state the location of entrance, and there is another flat with the similar name "star flats". You can tell that this happened to others as the code was used on the wrong flat's key box.
-poor kitchen facilities: no dishwasher solution or clothes detergent, no knives (only bread knives), no cooking oil, not enough teabags.

Excellent location in the centre of Ryde, not too far from the pier head and ferry terminal.

The property is spacious and is enough for 2 families upto 5 people. The main bathroom is huge, in fact it is bigger than one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is also huge enough. The space has great wifi speed and very quiet. There is an amazing pub nearby just opposite to the property which is a must visit.
No complaints as such but difficult to find at first and in fact you will end up trying the codes in one of the other ground floor flats opposite the Commodore Cinema. This property is NOT on the ground floor opposite the cinema.
The property is climbing up a short black metal stairs on the Star Street, opposite The Star Coffee & Ale House.

Very spacious, bright apartment, nicely decorated and in a great location. Brilliant service from the person who manages it - we had a small problem with bedding and she immediately responded and sorted it out - even brought flowers! can’t fault the service!
The apartment smells very strongly of stale/damp, particularly on entering the property and in the kitchen. Don’t know whether it’s particularly noticeable at this time of year (spring). Some of the furnishings could do with small repairs - a dressing table upstairs was on the floor in pieces, and the cupboard doors are off their hinges in the lounge. Kitchen could do with a frying pan.

It is well positioned in the town centre, so easy to get to. A self catering apartment that is well equipped. It is close to Iceland and Co-Op supermarket if do not want to go far for your groceries. Restaurants and take-aways close by if prefer not to cook after days out. Staff were really helpful checking when we would arrive and making sure it would be cosy for us. Very nicely decorated, clean and tidy.
Access is via metal staircase as flat above commercial properties, so can be difficult in wet weather and if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. It was fine for us but could not have include elderly parents in our stay. Likewise 1st Floor bedroom is loft conversion so steep staircase leads to it, but does have hand rail. No parking space but nearby car park.

'Stylish modern apartment', for a comfortable warm centrally-heated short stay, in the town centre, just off the high street. Up Ryde's steep hill from the pier and beach, then up again, via a forbidding outside iron staircase. Distant sea glimpses from topmost roof windows. Loved the upright piano, although it is in need of tuning and repair!
As self-catering accommodation, please complement the otherwise well-appointed kitchen with a pair of oven gloves, scissors, vegetable peeler, and tea towel.

Lovely and spacious, cosy and comfortable, nicely decorated, good location. Particularly liked the downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedroom.
Just a few extra bits in the kitchen would be good e.g. frying pan, washing up sponge, tea towel, oven glove.

The space and value for money is unreal. Comfortable and affordable in a great location.
Cleanliness of the apartment was bad. I feel like it wasn't cleaned before we arrived. Found stains on the mattress and a used sanitary pad on the floor in the bathroom. It's a real shame because other then that the stay was great. Heating was good when it kicked in and we had everything we needed there.

The entrance to the property was a let down. waste in black bags outside the property was off putting. also the decking leading up to the front door was very dangerous, decking was in a poor state, where it had been raining the decking was wet and very slippery, the moss made it almost unavoidable to slip over?
