Authentic contemporary art throughout and inviting living spaces inspire balance and harmony. The home features 4 bedrooms + 4.5 bathrooms. Matisse can comfortably accommodate 8 guests for your trip to Austin. Amenities include bright, natural light – dimmable with electric recessed shades, a built-in Sonos sound system, a fully stocked kitchen with high-end cookware, and a sweeping of glass walls – extending to connect the pool, outdoor kitchen, and an oversized, open-sky outdoor shower. Less than a 5-minute drive from downtown, in the heart of idyllic Tarrytown. We invite you to share in good company and stay awhile with Renters Club.

Things to Know
Please pay close attention to the following: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
-A 3-night minimum stay may be required.
-The maximum occupancy is 8 adults.
-No overnight guests are allowed outside of those listed on the reservation. Failure to comply can lead being asked to vacate the home.
-Maximum number of daytime guests is 4. Daytime guest hours are 8:00a-10:00p
-Rental Agreement must be e-signed after 48 hours after booking, which requests the names and ages of adult guests.
-Included with your reservation is an accidental damage protection insurance policy that protects everyone from any unexpected accidents. The full name, address and date of birth of the primary renter must be submitted within 48 hours after booking to our insurance partner, Safely.
-Bachelor/Bachelorette groups must all be over 30 years old.
-Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
-The exterior of the home is monitored via video cameras 24/7.
-Additional deposits may be required.
-No pets allowed. If you are traveling with a pet, reach out as we can help you find a pet-friendly place.
-No Outdoor music allowed after 10:00p per City of Austin ordinance.
-Pool Hours: 8:00a - 12:00a -- Failure to adhere to pool hours will result in pool privileges being revoked.
-Pool Heating Note: There is a $100 fee + $50 per day charge to heat the pool (October - March only) up to 85 degrees. If the average temp during your stay is below 55 degrees, then we are not able to heat the pool. You must let us know a week in advance if you wish to have the pool heated upon your arrival**
-To keep our home beautiful, we ask that you not hang decorations on the walls. Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home.
-Enjoy a smoke, just not inside. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine.
-Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences are non-refundable, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F-1, etc.

We needed a place for our extended family during graduation weekend. The house is stunning with wonderful architecture and original art. The accommodations were modern, super clean with a wonderful pool and fully stocked kitchen. Both the owner and manager were lovely to work with.

Scott’s place was exactly what we had hoped for. The house was clean, had plenty of amenities, and was comfortable. The backyard and pool were amazing spaces that we spent lots of time in. Scott was also very responsive and provided excellent customer service and hospitality. I would absolutely recommend staying at his house.

Our group of 8 adults found the house to be the perfect location. It's upscale and unique, with interesting art and collectibles around the house. We spent all weekend around the pool (we requested before check-in to heat it since we were there in October and that was a wise choice). We found that we didn't even leave the property much since we enjoyed just hanging out at the house so much. The bedding was so nice that one of the ladies in our group went home and ordered duplicates of everything that was on her bed, including the mattress!! The kitchen was well-stocked, there was plenty of towels, the layout of the house ensured everyone had privacy, communication with the management company was easy and check-in was a breeze. 10/10 recommend this house for a larger group!!

I highly recommend this beautiful modern house. Owner is funny and friendly and very helpful in his communications and recommendations for the local places to enjoy. The management company is professional and friendly and quick with their communications. The 4-bedroom house is very big. The pool is huge and clean and refreshing. The house is very modern and so interesting, it'll be a unique experience. Everything is modern, everything works, and the beddings and furniture were high-end. Great location, close to everything.

I will try to keep this short, but in one word, MAGNIFICENT!!! We went to Austin to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. Austin was great but our stay at Matisse went beyond our expectations!! Stunning interior and equally so outside! The beds were awesome, so comfortable, like a five star resort! The house was impeccable, so clean and new! The kitchen had anything you would ever need to cook. There were so many personal touches throughout the house. We truly felt at home. The pool and patio deck were AMAZING! Scott was so attentive, looking after our every want and need, we literally could not have asked for more. Plenty of room for our family. I strolled through the house looking at the exquisite art everyday always finding something new! LOVE, LOVE LOVE this home and Scott! I hope to stay here on our next trip to Austin! You will not be disappointed!!

Our family of five adults spent an idyllic six nights here over the Thanksgiving holiday. While we had a day of rain we still managed to swim everyday. The house and kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook and serve a feast. Scott is a charming and generous host who did everything to make our stay comfortable and fun.

The house is very modern with wonderful artwork throughout. Very open concept with lots of light and plenty of room for guests. Kitchen has a long table so is perfect for meals all together. Kitchen is stocked with nice cookware, glasses, charcuterie boards and everything you need to entertain. The pool area is an incredible oasis to hang out and /or swim. The neon sign and the candles around the pool set up a very intimate backyard environment . We had 6 guests stay in the house and you could have up to 8. Rooms are generous in size with 4 bathrooms. Everyone had plenty of space and privacy. Having said that, the house is very open. If you don't like the indoor/outdoor concept then this house isn't for you. Lots of light mainly in the master bedroom even at night. A cool outdoor shower by the pool- very zen like. Do understand that when you rent from VRBO , you will also be dealing with a third party management company so you will be dealing with them as well which can get a little confusing. The owner Scott is very nice and helpful. He called us a few days before to answer questions about the house and location. He even gave us restaurant suggestions and left us cookies. Wonderful hospitality and we all enjoyed our stay very much! Would recommend for sure- very cool vibe.

Beautiful home in great neighborhood. Fun to take runs and walks in. Great proximity to downtown and all the special spots of Austin. Pool is great, easy house to hang in, cook, have separate spaces. July in Austin is hot but house had great AC and pool was a life saver.

Scott was great. Home was well equipped to live in. Made the whole stay very welcoming and was very accommodating. He even had brownies baked for us upon arrival. Kids loved it.

We found the owner/host to be wonderful to work with. He was attentive before we arrived, with recommendations and assisting with groceries, etc. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything he could do for us he did. House is great, and just like in the photos.
