It offers an exceptional vacation rental experience, complete with all the luxuries and conveniences you could desire for a truly enjoyable and carefree stay.

Here's a summary of the features and highlights:

Location:

The condo is conveniently located on the beach in the Seven Mile Beach corridor, Grand Cayman and in a quiet and secluded complex holding all the charm of an Island beach home. The unit offers a million-dollar seafront view of the Caribbean Sea with spectacular sunsets. There is easy access to the beachfront and walking distance to various amenities such as grocery stores, bars, restaurants, liquor stores, gyms, bakeries, pharmacies, doctor’s offices and more.

If you choose not to rent a car, no problem - you can find local buses and taxis just a 2-minute walk away on West Bay Road.

Accommodation:

The condo has 2-bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom features a King bed with a full glass-enclosed shower, toilet and basin in the master bathroom, while the 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin bed. The guest bathroom features a bath and shower, toilet and basin. All bed linens, bathroom and beach towels are provided. All bedrooms have full blackout curtains and high-quality bed linens for your comfort.

To ensure you have a convenient start to your vacation, a starter package is included, consisting of essential items like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry pods, kitchen dish detergent, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and bathroom essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer. Upon request, we can provide a kiddies' toiletry kit with sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Amenities include:

Four (4) folding beach chairs, one (1) beach umbrella, two (2) coolers, picnic plates/glasses, pool noodles, etc. All bath towels and beach towels are also provided.

Interior:

The condo has been fully renovated and features a light and airy island style with vaulted ceilings, air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential items such as a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle and coffee machine. Basic items like salt, pepper, herbs, spices, vinegar, oil, and coffee filters are provided. The fridge has filtered water and an ice maker as well as a Brita-filtered water container. The unit has a clothes washer and dryer. The condo has a large 55" flat-screen HD smart TV, internet access, and a telephone for local calls. There is also a DVD player, an assortment of DVDs and a book library with both fiction and non-fiction books.

Outdoor Space:

A highlight of the condo is the large fully covered verandah overlooking the gardens and beach providing a perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxation. It is furnished with outdoor ceiling fans, an outdoor dining table, couches and a hammock. Folding beach chairs, pool/beach toys, kids' games/toys, puzzles, and portable beach coolers are available for guests' use. The property also features private lawns, a swimming pool with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, a BBQ area, a poolside shower, and a tennis court (tennis racquets are available for use in the condo). The condo offers easy access to the best snorkelling spots on Seven Mile Beach, including a shipwreck alive with corals and sea life right off the beach within swimming distance.

Aqua socks or water shoes are suggested for wading in the shallow waters in certain areas of Grand Cayman.

Recommended Restaurants:

Cayman is also well known for its excellent restaurants and the area offers a variety of restaurants to explore, including the following which are all within walking distance: Thai Orchid, The Kitchen, Coconut Joe's, Southern Spice, The Wharf, ICOA, The Bird, and Peppers.

Some highly recommended restaurants to visit during your stay include the following:

- West Bay area: Papagallo's Restaurant, Macabuca, and Tukka West.

- Seven Mile Beach area: LUCA Restaurant, Ragazzi, Casa 43, Abacus Camana Bay.

- George Town and South Sound area: We suggest Casanova and Sunset House.

Supermarket and Sunday Closures:

Foster's and Kirk Market supermarkets are short drives away and offer all the necessary food and supplies as well as a large array of international food.

Note that supermarkets are closed on Sundays, but most restaurants and gas stations are open. Certain gas stations also sell liquor on Sundays.

We had a fabulous stay here in condo #8! It was everything we needed and wanted. The listing was exactly as described! The sunsets from the balcony were our absolute favorite! We plan to visit and stay here again! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet area for there family to stay.

As first-time visitors to the Cayman Islands, our stay at Cocoplum Condos was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the million-dollar view that greeted us - it was truly breathtaking and set the perfect tone for our vacation. The condo itself was immaculate. We were impressed by the five-star cleanliness throughout the entire space, which made us feel immediately comfortable and at home. The serene and quiet environment was just what we needed to unwind and relax. One of the highlights was how well-equipped the condo was. The kitchen had everything we needed for a starter pack, making it easy to prepare meals without hassle. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were equally well-stocked, ensuring we had all the essentials at our fingertips. Our experience at Cocoplum Condos was so fantastic that we are already planning our return next year. We can't imagine staying anywhere else. This is the second time I have stayed in this condo and it was equally amazing as the first time 3 yrs ago. Sue was very responsive to emails with an immediate response. The location is perfect! Walking distance to great restaurants, grocery stores 5 min away and very close to many activities. I will definitely be back!!

Traveling with my wife and three children and Cocoplum was the perfect vacation rental for us. The rental was clean, comfortable, well equipped and in the perfect location. The ocean views from the large balcony were spectacular and views of the pool and well maintained grounds were also great - it was a perfect spot for a cup of coffee or cocktail or to read a book. The pool is on the small side but was perfect for us - my boys probably were in the pool 5 hours a days. There are plenty of lounge chairs and tables around the pool which were perfect for lounging but also for dining ocean and poolside. A few steps away is the beach which is very private. There is coral but it’s an amazing beach. A short distance out from the shoreline we saw of fish and coral reefs. Plus a short swim away is a shipwreck which was so interesting to snorkel around - when my youngest son wasn’t in the pool he was snorkeling and checking out the shipwreck. There is a nice tennis court on the property which we used for tennis but also to workout. There were other families and small groups at the property during our stay but for the most part we felt we had the place to ourself. There are also two charcoal grills. This was our first trip to the Caymans but we thought the location was perfect. Lots of great restaurants and food stores are a short distance. For us Cocoplum was a perfect spot to relax and have fun together as a family…we didn’t want to leave!

Our stay was our best honeymoon yet, and we travel a lot!! The best part was the million dollar view!! We enjoyed very much that it was a private area, we literally had the beach and pool for ourselves our entire 4 day stay! Thank you for making your wonderful property available for our family’s Cayman vaca! The furnishings, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean and modern. Quiet beachfront location with plenty of walkable amenities. Shipwreck right off the private beach! Water shoes are key for the rocks. Kids loved the pool. Balcony view of the pool and ocean sunsets helps make this 2nd floor unit one of the best in the development! It was exactly what our family was looking for! Thank you so much!

Not bad, but wouldn't stay here again. This is a nice, clean property. Spacious and well equipped. Most importantly for us, it was quiet with no noisy neighbours or rowdy groups. The pool is small though, which is fine if you're the only ones in it, but not if a few others join you, when it's like standing in an elevator. The property is right on the beach, but this is where things start to unravel. If you've seen Die Hard where Bruce Willis walks over broken glass in his bare feet, you can imagine what walking into the sea from this beach feels like. It is tiny, and all sharp rocks and broken coral. Sure you could wear reef shoes, but who wants to have to do that? The really annoying thing is that you have one of the best beaches in the Caribbean just a few hundred yards away, but you take your life in your hands walking over ironstone and slippery rock pools to get to it. Luckily we had a car, so we would just drive a mile up the road, and access a nice part of the beach from there. There are plenty of apartments right on the nice parts of 7 mile beach, so pick one of those. You don't need to be this close to Georgetown as the island is so small. Overall, a nice apartment, but in the wrong place.

Golden! My fav VRBO. All the boxes were checked plus the wreck of gamma is right in front. It's a shallow and easy snorkel.No sargassum, calm and warm 85 degree waters (June/July), awesome sunsets, bonus hammock, on the bus line, tranquility at it's best. Thank you Sue and Don for 12 days of bliss celebrating my 60th, and my friends retirement from teaching 1st grade. We loved it so much, we went to book the same dates next year. We never go to the same place. However, the price doubled. So sad but we'll always have the memories. Have a beautiful life and stay at Cocoplum #8 .

The location was perfect for what we wanted-a quiet beachfront stay. The view from the condo is spectacular. The lanai was a great spot to sip coffee in the morning and watch sunsets in the evening! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. Our group was 4 adults and we had plenty of space.

Cocoplum is a little gem! The condo is cute and updated and clean! Lots of space and all the supplies (cooler, towels, kitchen, etc.) we needed! The pool and grounds were lovely, quiet, and private. The beach was fun for snorkeling with a small shipwreck close by and lots of rocks for finding critters. We rented a car so getting to the other beaches was easy, but my kids didn’t want to leave Cocoplum!

What can I say about this stay other than it was amazing! Beautiful clean condo, well stocked. I will miss my morning tea on the balcony! The sunsets were beautiful with a perfect view! Water shoes needed on beach which we were prepared for from previous reviews but we didn't care. Walked to amazing restaurants & then walked to Andy's & rented a car for a few days of our stay. Driving on the opposite side of the road as we're used to was an adventure, lol. We went as a couple for an anniversary trip & will plan to come back with friends at some point! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The pictures on the website cannot do justice to this property. It is perfectly situated half way to anywhere you want to go on the island. No car - no problem. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and the best grocery store on the island is a short jaunt away. The unit is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you could ever want to prepare meals. The beds are comfortable and the linens are high end. Check in was easy and the manager responded very quickly. The pool was warm with a great view of the ocean. Even though all units were booked we often had the pool to ourselves. You really can't go wrong with this booking.

Beautiful view from the second floor of the condo building, snorkelled every day at the shipwreck, watched the sun set, walked to dinners (seafood, Thai, jerk all excellent). Beach is very private and quiet…really awesome week, exactly as billed! As mentioned in other posts, this is at the very south end of 7mile beach and the narrow beach /seawall does not allow for long walks on the beach. Water shoes on the beach are a must since the island is a coral reef

We had an amazing stay at Cocoplum #8. The condo is well located and is well stocked with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Waking up every morning to that view was sooooo breathtaking. The sunset in the evening was also spectacular. My whole family loved where we stayed. The grounds were nice and quite, and the man who maintained the grounds and the lady who cleaned some of the condos were so friendly and kind. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5 and it was so nice having the two bathrooms and bedrooms. If you are looking for a great place to stay near seven mile beach I would definitely recommend this unit. The only feedback I would give to the owners is that the blinds in the bedrooms let in a lot of light in the night from the flood lights outside lighting up the property and that the ceiling fan in the main bedroom was a little squeaky. Besides that 10/10 stay!!

Property clean, comfortable furnishings, mostly quiet and private. View from balcony was breathtaking. We didn’t need to rent a car….short walk to grocery & restaurants. Although it may be technically on Seven Mile Beach, it is difficult if not impossible to walk the beach from this unit (Extreme beach erosion over the years, with Hurricane Ian 2022 topping it off). We had to walk past the Sovereign resort on the sidewalk on West Bay Road, approximately a mile+, to reach a walkable beachfront. Despite this issue, the great location, beautiful grounds, fantastic ocean view were the reasons we would rate this “5 Stars”, and would rent this condo again some day.

I can't rave enough about this place. The location is perfect. Steps away from everything you could need, but tucked away so when you step onto the property you feel like your miles away from the hustle and bustle. The view from the patio is spectacular! I could sit there and stare out for hours. The unit itself has everything you could ever need and more! Don has thought of everything. The grounds are beautiful. The grounds staff work very hard and it shows. They were so friendly. Everyone we spoke with there was nice and always willing to help or answer questions. Anyone planning on visiting the island should consider this place. One of the residents called it Cayman's best kept secret and I couldn't agree more. Thank you Don for a vacation that exceeded our expectations!

Cocoplum 8 was clean, well stocked and attractively furnished. Some of the highlights: the beds were the most comfortable I have slept on in a rental property, the tv had many streaming services available which my kids loved, the pool was clean, nice and never crowded. The location of the property was very convenient, and we could walk to many restaurants and shops. Snorkeling off the beach in the wreck of the Gamma was wonderful! The only drawback for us was that the beach was very rocky, particularly the entry into the water which had lots of shifting rocks underfoot. Water shoes are a must to make this doable, and the ones provided at the condo didn’t fit all of us, so be sure to bring your own if you plan to swim in the ocean. The snorkel equipment also didn’t work for all of us, so be sure to bring your own if you are a snorkeling enthusiast, or do what we did and buy some equipment at one of the many dive shops nearby! Overall, we had a great time at this property!

This property was absolutely lovely. We found the condo extremely clean and well equipped. The view was spectacular! The beach was amazing! It felt like we were on a private beach. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. This is a PERFECT place for families. Had to reach out to Don and his response time was like no other, within minutes he got back to me. Had a wonderful, wonderful stay.

I can’t recommend staying here highly enough. First the location is perfect. You are close to everything on Seven Mile Beach as well as Georgetown. The condo itself is amazing. They have done a great job updating on the inside and I can’t say enough about the view. I’ve been to Cayman 8 times and just found this place but I will definitely be staying here the next time I come!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cocoplum. Unit 8 was excellent - gorgeous views of the ocean, and also a clear view of the pool. Perfect with kids. Well-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable living room to enjoy during a rainy afternoon. We all enjoyed collecting sea glass and shells along the beach, playing in the tide pools, and snorkeling out to the wreck - a quick swim away. A few snorkel spots to try - Smith's cove, Cemetery beach, Spott's beach - but we found it most enjoyable right in front of the complex. Stingray city trip is a must, at least once! And I highly recommend Ristorante Papagallo for a nice dinner out. Great trip all around - thank you, and we hope to visit again!
