Would not recommend staying for more than a couple of days
Would not recommend staying for more than a couple of days
First of all when you arrive to the house your first impression is terrible as the lawn was unkempt, weeds growing out of control & dead branches in front. The house is between two unsightly homes, one under renovation with dead grass, a dumpster in front & large gaping hole, the other with a fence falling apart. The inside of the house was nice, clean with comfortable furniture. The TVs looked great but the remotes didn't work & there was lights above master bedroom bathroom sink that didn't work. This was immediately brought to attention of contact person who said someone would be coming to repair issues that same day. We waited 2 hrs. before notifying them we had to leave. On our return that night at 11:30 PM, we found a bag of loose batteries hanging from the front door knob & both lights in both bathrooms were completely out! We were told the overhead sink lights would be repaired the next day & that the remotes were working fine, to follow directions left on the wall( which we had already done). We changed the batteries in all the remotes & they still didn't work. We had to go resetting all the Gfi's on the outlets to turn the lights on in the bathrooms since we were told that no one would be coming out that night to repair the problem. The next day, the "handyman" came & he himself had problems with the remotes. He ended up changing some remotes completely & had to even change the cable boxes to some TVs. He also told us the instructions on the wall needed to be updated & the computer mouses that were found by each TV were useless. Yet, he had the nerve to tell us that we were the first people in 3 years to have problems with the TVs! Really!!! He did change the light bulbs to the overhead sink, which I appreciated as the bathroom ceiling light was very dim & I needed that to put my contacts & makeup on. But, we continued to have problems with the remotes & when we were able to get them working to watch a movie the picture would freeze midway & we couldn't finish the movie. I believe that was because the internet was very faulty & kept going out, so we eventually just gave up. We were there for a wedding & family get togethers so we spent a lot of time in the house, hence the need for working TVs. Also the electrical system of the house was faulty as we kept getting browning( lights dimming, then returning). This browning must have caused the wifi to constantly go out. Also, the house constantly had beetles/bugs crawling everywhere.

It was a great stay. For it to be a 3bed/2bath, it was perfect for me, my uncle and his friend because we came for the Saints-Cowboys game. We intended on staying downtown in hotels, but getting this house for the couple days we were there saved us half the money for hotels. This was my very first airbnb experience and it was a good one.

Nice property and convenient location
Nice property and convenient location
I actually enjoyed this property. It was about 6 minutes away from the airport which was wonderful. There are many restaurants and stores 3-5 minutes away. Very quiet neighborhood. The house is very spacious. If you have a small child or baby they offer a small crib in the living room. I loved the mirror in the hallway. Tvs worked great. There is a washer and dryer as well. It was five of us and this property accommodated us. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully appointed floor plan and Clean updated decor!
Beautifully appointed floor plan and Clean updated decor!
This home is very very clean and has a super spacious floor plan. The air conditioning is superb and the linens are abundant. My mother in law celebrated her 95th birthday and we were able to dine together without masks or distancing. Everyone was able to hug and give love to our sweet matriarch in comfortable surroundings. Wifi was perfect and televisions were everywhere. Thrilled with the Ninja Coffee Bar! That is exactly what we use at home to brew our espresso! We were very thankful for the laundry facilities. The one and only reason I do not give this property a 5 star is due to the fact that the communication response time is horrible. You call the contact number and have to leave a voicemail. The response is via text by some sort of management company that then informs you that they have to contact the owners for an answer. I had to wait days before obtaining a response to my request for early check-in and late check-out. I realize that Evolve asks that we request 24 hours prior to check-in for this accommodation, but I wanted to give the owners more time to consider our request, an immediate response would have been appreciated either way. The response was issued the day of check-in. The answer was "no" because they had guests checking out the same day. I think they might have told me that a week prior! I couldn't find drying dish towels, and the 1 little bit of hotel soap was not adequate for 4 day's of bathing and hand washing for 6 adults. Once the owners responded to the management company, the management company relayed via text to me that at some point during the day, the owners would drop off drying towels and soap. The 2 guest rooms lost power on the night before we left. We informed them, (via text,) in the morning but we were not told how to access Breaker box until after we had checked out, (once again, poor communication.) The owners might be able to do anything regarding this, but the water in bathroom's showers came out with sulfuric odor. For such lovely accommodations, it deserves a WAY more excellent management response team. The owners/management company dropped off a gift bag with a nice "Thank You" card and a whole box of some yummy Aunt Sally Pralines. We would stay here again in hopes that the communication would be improved. At that point, this property would receive a resounding 5 STAR!
