Stunning location, very peaceful and lovely hosts

Beautiful location and really lovely interior design. Loved the space and comfort ! The bed was super cosy and wood burner was a welcome option and easy to light ! So many lovely extras such as fresh eggs, cereals, coffee pods, milk, and the most gorgeous bloomer bread x Martin was super friendly and very helpful. We were definitely be back !

Relaxing autumn break

What a wonderful find!! The property is tucked away and very peaceful. The woodshed is really beautifully built and the owners have thought about everything you could need. It’s really cosy with the log burner.

Absolutely lovely, cannot recommend more!

Our stay at the woodshed was everything we hoped for and more. The woodshed is gorgeous and the setting so peaceful and quiet. Martin was a wonderful host, really going the extra mile and making the space feel so special for my mums birthday. Fresh eggs from the hens, milk, break and cereal was a lovely touch and the apartment had everything. Really cannot recommend more - a perfect base for a quiet countryside getaway and witnessing the starlings! Thank you.

Perfect little family cottage.

The Property was beautiful, the lounge/dinner very spacious. Nice communal garden between the three accommodation sites (all by same host) with playground for younger children. Breakfast selection was nice, some cereal, granola, porridge, bread, milk, fruit and lots of fresh eggs. Views from the cottage were beautiful, could see goats and chickens and could hear the cows in a neighbouring field. What surprised me the most is how warm it was, the building has underfloor heating and a wood fire.

Exceptional Stay! We can’t wait to return!

Lovely cottage set in peaceful surroundings, with stunning views. The cottage had everything you needed! The items for breakfast, that were provided, were excellent. Martin and Sarah were very accommodating of dietary requirements. They were very friendly and offered plenty of recommendations for local eateries, places of interest etc. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It felt just like home. We wish we’d booked to stay for longer!

Lovely Place!

- We loved that we were greeted by the host in the rain to give us an introduction of the place. - Could explore the land with chickens and sheep - Offered breakfast: fresh eggs from the chickens, bread, cereal, porridge, milk, tea and coffee - Personally touches such as how the Woodshed was built and the history of the place

We loved everything. The only thing was it was a bit hard to find, especially in the heavy rain and having to open the gate to drive into the area in the rain but it definitely wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Beautifully situated, immaculately presented holiday cottage

A new build but with real character and lovely touches. Very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the delicious eggs from the owners hen coop and the beautiful garden. Perfect stopover for our weary family to recharge after the Glastonbury festival.

Cosy evening in with the log burner. Very peaceful night’s sleep. Almost silent!

Everything was excellent. Clean. Well prepared fire in the log burner. We loved how quiet it was coming from a town - it was almost silent at night. We went to see the starlings at Ham Wall and it was incredible. Lovely stay. Would recommend and come back!

Perfectly peaceful Somerset break

An absolutely perfect location for Ham Wall and murmurations at dusk and dawn. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Had a great 2 nights enjoying the utter peace, birdlife and icy walks from the door. Very welcoming and helpful hosts- Simon provided fan heaters for the bedrooms as the temperature plummeted to -5. The lovely log burner kept us toasty. Great provisions on arrival too .

Everything it was comfortable clean and very spacious.

It was a little difficult to find but we got there with the directions of the owner,also the morning we left there was dog mess around the edge of the patio area. It didn't affect our stay as it was wet but had it been a nice day the children would have wanted to play in the lovely gardens and this obviously would have been an issue.

Wonderful cosy stay and excellent hosts

The woodshed was very homely and a lovely place to stay. The location is great and very quiet. The log burner was lovely to have on and it made the stay very cosy. The layout was good inside and the kitchen had everything we needed. We only stayed one night but wished it was longer. We will return for future stays.

There was not much to not like. The only thing i would have suggested is better water pressure in the ensuite shower room as this was a little low and made a shower more difficult.
