Welcome to Just Beachy! It is truly the perfect place to get away with your friends and family. It is only a few houses away from putting your toes in the sand or enjoying an evening of crabbing with the kiddos. The multiple decks offer a great way to wind down at the end of a full day of fun in the sun.
Enjoy the two separate living spaces. One for sleeping and quiet time, and the other for socializing and enjoying time with your guests. The house has multiple decks. One for dining after grilling up a nice meal. One for relaxing and lounging with a cool beverage, and another small area for taking in a good read or for a little quiet space. The large living space is furnished with a cozy sectional for relaxing and gathering. It is adorned with fun beachy decor throughout. The updated kitchen is the perfect place for gathering together while prepping the evening meal in the fully stocked kitchen. The counters have flecks of turquoise which bring the ocean inside. The wall of windows offers wonderful lighting that brings the beachy feel right to you indoors. There is also a wine fridge to keep your favorite bottles chilled as you wind down for the evening. Head out onto the deck for a meal, or can dine at the indoor dining table and counter bar stools.
When heading downstairs you will find the sleeping quarters of the property. It feels separate from the upstairs offering a quiet space to retreat when tired. Perfect for the kiddos to go when the grown-ups still want to play. The large master bedroom is a retreat in itself. It offers a king-size bed, private bath and access to the lounging area of the deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable, lovely queen bed. It also offers access to the deck where there are two seats for taking in a good read. The third bedroom offers a large bunk room. There are six twin built-in bunks. Plenty of space for the whole gang.
The owners have provided many extras for you while at this amazing home. Inside the sliding garage are several beach necessities, outdoor games, boogie boards, and a charcoal grill. Enjoy a cool beverage while grilling the evening meal and playing a game of ring and hook or relaxing on the porch swing. The house is located on the West End of Galveston Island in the sought-after Pirates Beach subdivision. At the front of the neighborhood, there is Mario's pizza restaurant, Alex's seafood market, a liquor store, and the general store named Hummel's. Only 10 minute drive to the wonderful Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark. There are several wonderful dining options in Galveston as well as historic locations to visit. The historic Strand district and the Pleasure Pier are two must-visit locations.

This house had a great location, only 5 houses from the beach! Our kids loved the bunk room and the master bedroom felt like home! Kathy was amazing to work with! Special thank you to her for helping us get this house booked VERY last minute, since our other 2 places cancelled on us due to the after-math of Hurricane Beryl! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property. Kids loved the bunkbeds! Only issue we had on arrival was that the refrigerator wasn’t working the first evening. This was an inconvenience but I communicated with Kathy and she had a repairmen there the following morning to fix it.

Just Beachy was absolutely heavenly! My husband and I were here through the month of January, and the area was nice and quiet. The home is exactly as it is shown in all the photos. From the living area we could see both the sunrise and sunset. At night we enjoyed star gazing from the upper deck. Having decks on two levels was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the house is clean.
The beach is just a short walk away and most of the time we could hear the waves from the house.
All of our needs were met with the ample amenities.
We were also pleased with the responsiveness of Kathy at Why Waite. We wanted to get away from corporate rental agencies so we could rent from local home owners and agencies and Why Waite was excellent. We have already booked our next stay with them.

This place was everything and more. From all things you need in kitchen to open space. It was more then enough room for everyone. Beach was only a couple steps away which was perfect to be able to go back and forth. Over all 5 out 5 I would definitely book again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Just Beachy. Our family loves the house and the location! The house decorations are great! Love the crabs!! There are multiple decks to choose from for relaxation. The beach is a very short walk. We will definitely stay at Just Beachy again!!

We’d just finished unpacking the car when we noticed an issue with the home (water leak from big rain storm). We were unable to stay at this home due to repair work that needed to be done, but the property manager was able to relocate us to a different home in the same neighborhood so we could continue our vacation! Grateful for their flexibility and quick work to find room for our group of 7!

2 friends and I took my daughter and 6 friends for a 16th birthday girls' weekend. This house was perfect! The best part was that all 7 of them fit in the bunk room together. The primary bedroom was large - plenty of floor space for an air mattress, if necessary. The multiple wraparound porches were also so fun and relaxing. The walk to the beach was super easy. We can't say enough good things about this property, and we will definitely book again.

The house was clean and perfect for our mini getaway with some family friends. The kids loved the triple bunk bed and the we all loved the storm shutters keeping it dark and letting us sleep in! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. It was a really quick walk to the beach which was awesome! Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely look to stay here again!

There were 6 kids and two adults and we had plenty of space. The upstairs was so spacious and the bunk bed were perfect for the kids. The location to the beach was within walking distance. We took truck and set stuff up but we’re close enough to walk and get lunch and have restroom breaks. The king bed in the master was super comfortable and both sides adjusted for individual sleep needs. The shutters were the best! We could put them down so everyone was able to sleep in a little after staying up late. Need those in every place I stay! :)

We had a great Easter weekend, even though the weather was awful! The house was spotless and comfortable which we really appreciated since we were indoors quite a bit, so much room and lots of seating for games and cooking. We also appreciated the kitchen was well stocked with equipment needed to cook. The 3rd bedroom with the bunk beds is perfect for small children and can sleep 6, however, definitely not made for adults. The beach is so close it would have been perfect with better weather although the kids enjoyed the surfing.

This house was perfect for our large family of different ages! Great location, quiet neighborhood and lots of space. It is just a short walk to the beach and the outdoor shower was great to rinse off. They had boogie boards, kids sand toys, chairs and other things there that we were able to use. The house is equipped with everything you need including towels, extra pillows and blankets. I loved how the home had different levels which did help in putting children to bed while we stayed up in the living room and kitchen area. I wish I would have brought a baby gate-if you have small children that would be a must. We blocked off the area with our ice chests, but a baby gate would have been perfect had we thought about it. There was also a small open spot on the deck outside of the living area (right outside the door)that we had to block off for our littles but not a huge deal. The master bedroom has THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed I have ever slept in. It has the dual remotes to raise or lower your head and feet. I have asked for the name of the mattress so I can buy one! They have cable , but if you have littles or like your smart tv I would recommend bringing your Roku or fire stick. I brought our fire stick which was nice to watch our favorite shows and also for the kids . Overall, we had a great family vacation and would definitely stay in this house again! Mgmt had excellent communication and was very responsive with all my questions before the trip.

The location of this property is fantastic, as are the beautiful sunset views! Although we did have a couple of issues during our stay, the responsiveness to address our issues was terrific. Owner and management were very concerned and involved and addressed our questions promptly.

Family Summer Vacation
Our family comes to Galveston each summer. We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac and the commute to the beach is very short and easy. The kitchen is well stocked and we found everything that we needed to cook our daily meals. The ice maker in the fridge does not work but a bag of ice was in the freezer upon our arrival. We loved the opportunity to dine outside on the deck as well as enjoy morning coffee taking in the views of the water. The beds were comfortable....only children should sleep in the bunk room....
My only recommendation would be to give some attention to the vents in the house. Both cold air return and output vents needs cleaning.
Overall we very much recommend this house with all of its space to spread out and enjoy the space both inside and out.

We loved this beach house! Great place to stay with everything you need. The location was perfect for an infant as well, as the neighborhood is nice and quiet. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. We can’t wait to stay again one day!
