It was a short stay but lovely.

The host Nancy was very kind. Rabat & Mdina are close by, which is definitely worth a trip. If I would've had more time, it would've been nice to explore the surrounding countryside & cliffs.

We spent 2 days at Mamina's and could not be more satisfied. Clean and big.

The whole house smelled very nice. Everything was cleaned. Nancy (the owner) explained us everything when we arrived and welcomed us warmly. We arrived earlier than during the normal check-in time and there was no problem with that. The whole house was spacious, big and we were able to use even the terrase. The bathroom was exceptional! Enough space to park our car. There's enough pictures but the reality is even better

Nancy thinks of everything - there are folders of information in the rooms, everything around the shared facilities is explained. There are 2 rooms that share kitchen and bathroom, very clean. I made much use of the terrace. There is Bahrija Oasis nearby, a permaculture research place (sadly I couldn't find people there). Lovely coast line and Mdina is not far, 15 minutes by bus.

It is sad that often you cannot follow what seems to be a road, because it is private (Titholx!) - so for instance I couldn't work out how to get to il Gnejna/ Ghajn Tuffieha on foot. The roads just seem to stop at some private property ...

Our Land lady was really kind, and gave useful tips.

It is even hotter in the inside then outside on the sun, and you need to pay extra for air conditioner.

it's okay but really difficult to get to these apartments

it’s pretty cheap

it’s very far away, there is only one bus per hour so it’s really difficult to get there. Extremely hot on the second floor. if you will use an air conditioner you need to pay

Best stay to choose!

The owner is amazing, charming, warm women who cares about guests a lot. No problems with contact, perfect conditions, very helpful, ready to help with the trip around Malta, with big kitchen, bathroom and terrace like at home. I was very sad to spend there only one night. Grom house can be Reach very easly beautiful bay and the seaside. Totally worth recommending!

There is nothing which can be better. Perfect, it was more than I was expecting:)

Appartment is in convenient location close to bus stop in il-Bahrija, restaurants and local stores. Comfortable room, huge shared bathroom (shared by two rooms only) and shared kitchen with fridge and freezer to your disposition. Welcoming host providing all sorts of info materials about the area as well as the whole island. Very good value for money.

Great countryside stay

Very kind, caring and helpful host. The place is located in a small, calm village. Having a car is very useful. Place offers reasonably equipped kitchen and there are shops in a village.

A Really exotic place nearby huge views and lovely beaches. So clean Quest House and so friendly host ! The bus stop is about 100 m next the House so You can easily travel to Mdina ( 15 minutes).

It is perfect accommodation for hikers around and people who enjoy countryside and not so much bein

The place exceeded my excpectations, the house was very beautiful, there was everything that one would need, I enjoyed breakfast from the balcony and dinner from round table inside.

That things is probably nothing that Nancy/host can change but the room I slept was next to the toilet and the noises after flushing were very loud which wasn`t problem when I used but around 6 am I could hear when somebody else used toilet in another apartment and the flushing sounds were disturbing my sleep.

I enjoyed the stay at Mamina's house a lot. Il-Bahrija is a nice and quite place.

The location is not perfect as it is not very close to the beach (you can reach it on foot in 40 mins, but you go down a steep hill and there are no busses going that direction) and you need to travel pretty far to see other places, but it is close to the bus stop and the convenience store. Moreover, restaurants are great in that area.

We've absolutely loved the place and the neighbourhood. The apartment is really well taken care of and has everything the guests would need. Nancy was very nice, give us a good guidance and was waiting for us a bit late when we arrived from the airport. We would highly recommend Mamina's house to everyone!

Everything was great. The house is situated in a quiet and scenery place close to one of the most beautiful beaches on the main island. The rooms, especially the bathroom, are spacy and there is everything you may need for your stay. Nancy is kind and helpful.

Nancy was waiting until I arrived (a bit late), ready to explain me anything about the house and to offer me some small beverage and snacks for my arrival. The house was really clean and the location it’s not so far away from Rabat and Manikata (where you can find good beaches). If you wanna see the west coast I recommend staying at her place!
