About this apartment rental
A private suite above the garage located in the Rocky Mountains. Wake up in a king size bed with a spectacular view of Coliseum Mountain, grab a map and start exploring. Check out the weekly and monthly discounts. Long weekends are a three night minimum. Location is for booked guests only.
Park at the foot of the stairs for easy access, the door will be open with the key on the counter. The drive wraps around the house. Privacy is guaranteed.

We had a fabulous visit to Nordegg. This little pituresque town was a wonderful weekend getaway from St. Albert, AB. The hiking was wonderful, the unit itself was lovely & had everything we needed and more. Our hosts even greeted us with a bottle of bubbly and a lovely card to welcome us…..really nice touch. The little town has a great cafe & gift shop and there are a few other interesting shops in the town. A must check out is Mary’s by oft shop……beautiful and wide variety of fabulous had made native items (everything g from beautiful birch baskets, jewelry, stone carvings , etc…..a true must see. Thank you again Tom & Jenny for opening your beautiful home to us. We will be back!

The hosts were very kind and inviting. The property was absolutely stunning, and the loft we stayed in was huge!
They offered complimentary champagne and chocolates which were greatly appreciated.
They had two adorable dogs who would stop by and knock on the door— so cute!

If I could give a 10-star review, I would! Tom & Jennie were excellent hosts and the property itself was perfect. My husband and I planned this trip months in advance and unexpectedly found ourselves in Nordegg during a record-breaking polar vortex. Even with the freezing temps we were warm and cozy. The property had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinner, the bed was very comfortable, we had plenty room to unpack and store our winter gear which as we all know can be bulky and cumbersome! The space is much bigger than the pictures convey & the environment is peaceful with beautiful mountain views. Our hosts were prompt with responses and went above and beyond to accommodate us, really couldn’t ask for more! We love this little town and 100% plan to return!

The hosts were very gracious and friendly. We were relaxed and rested very well. The hiking nearby was great and our pup loved the area. Lots of friendly neighbors with their dogs were out enjoying the Fall air. Made for such an enjoyable weekend. Highly recommend this area and these hosts. Thanks again.

The place was in a beautiful location. It was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Tom & Jenny were very accommodating, especially with our dog. They left us extra towels to wipe her paws. We even received a complementary bottle of Prosecco, which was a nice touch. Will hopefully stay there again.

My husband and I (with our dogs) always go away July long weekend to get away & honour/remember someone we lost. Grateful to have stayed at the foot of the Coliseum mtn in this quiet and peaceful place.Jenny and Tom's' property is amazing. They have done a fantastic job creating a home away from home for anyone looking to enjoy the David Thompson and Nordegg area. They are kind, thoughtful, real good people that have thought of everything to make a stay comfortable and welcoming. The loft is spacious, so clean, stocked with everything you need-just bring your gear, food and family and they provide the rest.
They have two 11mth old rescued pups that are friendly and only bark when alerting and a orange tabby we saw through the window once in a while. It is 45 mins from Abraham lake and hikes in that area, 5 min drive to Nordegg where we had pie and checked out the Beehive store and a 10 min walk to our beloved hike the Coliseum. Thank you again for sharing your place with us.

We had a great stay at Tom and Jenny's suite. Private, immaculately clean and beautiful views. The bed was so comfortable! Kitchen is fully stocked. Tom and Jenny are wonderful hosts — there when you need them but let you be. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend! Ps - chocolates and Presecco were such a great touch!

5 nights stay. Experienced lake, river canyon, waterfall, and summit hikes. Did not even scratch the surface of all there is along the David Thompson Highway. Easy access to Jasper Park parkway.

We enjoyed a beautiful and restful Anniversary weekend at Tom and Jenny's property in Nordegg. We were able to fully relax in a spotlessly clean home, take in the peaceful surroundings of the foothills, and we even found a lucky fishing spot!
The home was well-equipped with everything we would need, and the extra touches - like the bottle of wine they left in the fridge for our anniversary - was an amazing gesture. They even thought of things for our four-legged companion!
We highly recommend this beautiful location, the warmth and comforts of home away from home, and the many kindnesses of our hosts! We fully enjoyed the rest and relaxation of our stay.

We received a warm welcome with total respect to our privacy. Very nice, open and clean place. I wish we had planned better. We enjoyed the solitude it provides.. we will be back in summer to explore the trails behind the house. We missed the kids !

Peaceful and quiet
Due to high stress jobs we were looking forward to somewhere peaceful and quiet where we could relax and put our feet up. The views are stunning, the property is well kept and maintained. The suite is equipped with every household item you would need. Just pack your bags bring your food sit back and relax, which is exactly what we needed and what we did. Highly recommend :)

The unit is a spacious open-concept loft-style suite located above a garage. It doesn’t share a wall or floor with the hosts' living quarters, so it feels perfectly private. Because it is essentially one very large room (plus bathroom), the unit is best suited for a couple.
The entire suite is amply and tastefully furnished. The comfy bed comes with a lovely view of Coliseum Mountain. The full kitchen is the best equipped of any vacation rental we’ve ever visited. There's a big flatscreen with plenty of movie channels, and decent wifi considering the rural setting.
The suite has plenty of ventilation and a ceiling fan, but the lack of air conditioning might prove a drawback during a heat wave. (Hot weather wasn’t an issue during our stay.)
Bring groceries, as the local stores in nearby Nordegg stock only the very basics (and Rocky Mtn House is an hour's drive). The surrounding subdivision is quiet and scenic, and there are plenty of great hiking options in the area.
Tom and Jenny are friendly, communicative, and accessible but not at all intrusive.

Celebrated my 30th birthday at this place with my best friends. Amazing views, great service, very clean studio. Highly recommend staying here & we will be booking here again in the summer.
