The Space:

Recently built just one year ago, this home has been built with an attention to detail and a level of craftsmanship rare to encounter in a short-term rental. Enter through the front door or through the garage after parking inside or in the private driveway. You'll enter into a modern, clean, inviting space and you'll sense the possibilities here—entertainment, relaxation, or just the perfect base for your explorations around town, or the natural environs surrounding Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain." The main level offers an open kitchen and living room concept, complete with walkout access to the private backyard, full of plenty of outdoor living opportunities including a gas grill for an evening under the Colorado sky. There is also a entire laundry room.
The living room/kitchen combination is open and bright, the centerpiece of the space an inviting gas fireplace. The sofas here are leather, the flooring hardwood, the surfaces granite and stainless steel.
Upstairs are 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The master offers KING comfort and a private bath, as well as a private balcony walkout facing Pikes Peak and the west—stunning sunsets over the Rocky Mountain Front Range presented nightly! The second bedroom features another KING bed, the third bedroom a comfortable queen. All of the linens are of hotel-quality, professionally cleaned and laundered. There's an additional bathroom on this level too, to service the 2 additional bedrooms.
Downstairs in the lower level, there's a comfortable and inviting living space connected to a fourth bedroom featuring 2 bunk beds with 2 single mattresses each — 4 sleeping spaces perfect for the kids. And with a third full bath down here, the kids can be themselves while leaving the adults to rest and relax and entertain upstairs in privacy and peace. This home offers a great deal of flexibility perfect for traveling families or groups—value, practicality in comfortable, modern décor.

The Neighborhood:
Just a few hundred yards from the Rocky Mountain foothills, this home is located on the Springs' west side, near Red Rocks Canyon Open Space Park … a hidden gem of a park offering many of the same spectacular rock formations and trails that the more well-known Garden of the Gods Park offers, without the crowds and tourists. Another park, Bear Creek Park, is also just up the road. Attractions such as Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, with their unique and historic artisan shops, restaurants, cafes and nightlife are both just down the road, approximately 2 mins by car, or a 10 minute walk or bike ride. Downtown Colorado Springs is also just about 5 minutes away by car. Visitors to the Springs will inevitably spend most of their time on the west side, close to this property, and guests staying here will be gloriously close to all the goodness, natural or built, that Colorado Springs offers travelers and visitors to the region.
Getting Around:
Although there are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, breweries and outdoor recreational opportunities close to this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

We booked this property for a family get together in August. The property worked great for us as it had plenty of space and was close to everything. The double bunk beds were perfect for all the cousins to spend time together.
The only knock I’d have - the dishwasher wasn’t the best at cleaning - but otherwise, a great place.

The house was very clean. We had a little hiccup with checking in but the host responded within minutes. Excellent communication. The home was very roomy and accommodated 10 people easily. We had four teenagers who felt like they had their own apartment downstairs. The home was located close to multiple tourists attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I enjoy this quiet West Side / Best Side neighborhood. It's 10 minutes or less away from downtown and centrally located to the residences of our children and grandchildren.
The back yard of this property is much better than most. The BBQ are was excellent.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay! The home is very large with tons of space. Everything was super clean and there were basic amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. There was also a super nice backyard to relax in. The expectations for us upon check out were also minimal which was nice. The only thing I would note is that I requested a late check out a few times over the course of the weekend. I would get a quick response stating that was an option, but then never received confirmation and we ended up having to leave earlier than we hoped, which was a little frustrating. I wish that process was a little more clear. Otherwise we had a fabulous stay and everything was great!

Very comfortable stay for our family. Can’t say enough about the location! Easy convenient drive to many of the sites as well as Downtown and Old Colorado City. The kids loved being close to Dutch Bros coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was very nice. Had a few hiccups that were resolved quickly. Interaction with property managers was excellent. Need a few new pots and pans as those supplied were a little worse for the wear.

The house worked great for our trip. We had three different families all stay together, there was plenty of space and bedrooms! The house is close to everything you need and lots of fun things to see/do.

We had plenty of room for all 8 adults in the house. The kitchen was lovely and everything was in order.

Beds were clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean and spacious, floors were clean. Fireplace was warm and cozy. Beautiful large windows to see the sunrise and the mountains. Well supplied toiletries. Great, close location to activities. Nice to have a garage. Upon check in though, we discovered only one slightly scratched med size pot and one small pot to cook all our meals in for our entire stay….all the other pots and pans were deeply gouged, rusty, and unusable. No dishcloth was supplied to hand wash dishes and no dishwasher pods and laundry pods supplied. When Hoste was notified right away and pictures sent, nothing was done to rectify the problem….only stating “I will try my best to make the rest of the stay more comfortable”. About 1/4 of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Definitely not the kitchen experience we have ever experienced with a VRBO. Unfortunately, a huge reason we rent a house is to cook meals and that kitchen needs some TLC.

Family vacation in the mountains
We had a large group of family members ranging from age 72 - 11 years. The property was a great location for all the things we wanted to do and see including Royal Gorge and Garden if the God's. However, please note that if you do plan on staying at this property there is not enough serveware/dishes/glassware for a large group. Loved the rental! Had fun!

The views of Pikes Peak are amazing! The home was beautiful, beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for our activities. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to The Springs!

Beautiful updated home.
This duplex had plenty of space my myself, two friends and our 5 teenagers. The basement area was perfect for the kids while the moms could enjoy some quiet time upstairs. The home is in an older neighborhood but we always felt safe while we were there.
