Summary:
This cozy cabin offers a perfect place to sit back and take in the gorgeous views of Lake LBJ! Sip a cup of coffee on the deck or enjoy the hot afternoon in a chair in the HUGE shaded back yard! Have watercraft? No problem there is also a fishing pier with a dual jet ski lift and a place to tie your boat down. Bring a book, fishing pole, or just a good positive attitude and you will enjoy the most relaxing weekend! Please note there is some construction going on building a new home next door.

You will need a vehicle to get to and from this property or around to local attractions

Other Things to Note:
We are available by phone, text, email, or in person if the need arises.

No pets allowed! If evidence of pets are found, an automatic fee of $500 will charge the card on file.

In lieu of a security deposit we require a $65 damage waiver fee through Safely that covers guests up to $5000 in damages to the property.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection has been included in a Fee on your reservation.

The Safely Protection Policy covers the cost of repairing damage to the property up to $5K for content and dwelling combined.

The fee for this protection is refundable if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible, minimum claim amount, or cost of repair in excess of the coverage limits will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Hill Country Stays will process the payment using the form of payment on file for Guest.

All refunds will exclude a 5% credit card service fee.

Noise Ordinance: Quiet Hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. No exceptions! No amplified music or noise is allowed. Please be considerate of the neighbors.

The good: Beautiful views! Back yard is immense. You can see the river, the minute you open the back door from the back deck! Boat dock is great for jet skis, prob not for a full sized boat, but it worked awesome. Neighbors were awesome, and are also the owners, right next door! If you need anything, they are right there! The bad: Roaches in the back half of the house (bed room, bathroom, kitchen) There is NO/ZERO driveway, true parking. And its on a dead end road. A full size truck, towing a boat/jet ski, cannot turn around, once you drive in. You will have to manually unhook trailer, turn your truck around, facing opposite direction, hand lift, and drag trailer around, and then re-attach it. The ugly: I asked for a refund on the cleaning fee and one day rental (of 5 days) and was told they would refund only half the cleaning fee. Nothing more. I said that was unacceptable and would post an honest review. The host emmediately said I was extorting them. They refunded nothing and tried to keep me from writing an honest review (extortion on thier part).

This was a great place to spend a few days fishing and exploring Hill Country. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed taking in the long summer sunsets from the dock in this beautiful location.

Stayed Memorial weekend. Easy check in; cabin was nice and clean. A/C worked great to keep the cabin cool. It's a basic cabin. Cooked a couple of meals - kitchen adequate. Great views of the lake. Enjoyed the dock area - son caught some nice catfish. Too hot and lake was too busy for kayaking. Several boats would hang around playing loud music. Loved seeing the deer that hang out in the neighborhood. Go to Longhorn Cavern State Park - awesome to visit!

This cabin is at a great location on lake LBJ. Absolutely beautiful on the water. We loved the yard and porch too.

The property was everything that the pictures showed and even better. It was on a quiet part of the lake, really enjoyed the dock and water. Bed was super comfortable. No noise in neighborhood during our stay. Check in and out was a breeze. Thank you for sharing your home!

The property was clean and neat. We loved the private dock and water toys. Also, a neighbor was very nice to us and pointed out some of the regular wildlife to the neighborhood. There are lots of deer so drive slow. We loved our time and would stay here again.

Nice, clean, well appointed small home/cabin, on Lake LBJ - with amazing views of the Lake and Pack Saddle. It was a very peaceful, serene setting, and this particular wknd in March, it was just us and the geese! Very relaxing.

Great views, great location. We had a wonderful time. The only slight negative is no cable, satellite, or local TV. Luckily, we had a laptop and HDMI cable with us, so we connected the laptop to the TV, logged into our own Xfinity account, and were able to watch college football.

My husband and I wanted to come fish, relax, , enjoy the Lake view, and enjoy coffee on the porch. The lake was dirty from the drainoff of rain but it was okay since they got rain. Yard was beautiful, neighbors were very nice and friendly.. Fisging was not good but we still had a great time!

Cozy little house that great use of the space. Family of 5 stayed and didn’t feel cramped. The backyard and view are fantastic. Really nice boat launch two houses away and several options to tie up to the doc. Communication was also great!

Great weekend!

Great weekend!

We spent a long weekend here and loved every minute! You can’t beat the views and proximity to the lake. It is shallow enough to stand and great for kids. They enjoyed swimming and floating, looking for fish, turtles and ducks. The house is great with enough space for our family of 4. Just no dishwasher but that wasn’t a big problem for us. Definitely looking forward to going back sometime!

I booked this house within a couple days after we had weekend plan changes. Perfect place for our small group to stay at. Kitchen was stocked with every appliance we needed, gas pit out back perfect for steaks and burgers. Dock was perfect for our boat and there are steps down to the waters Great restaurants right across the lake and heb is right down the road as well. Was a very peaceful weekend! Will surely be coming back.
