About this house rental
We removed from VRBO to do some improvements. We are excited to reopen with a few dates available. This 4 bedroom home sits on a double lot and is a perfect get away for families of all ages. Convenient to shopping but off the busy road. Plenty of parking space, even for a camper. Stay in beside the heated pool (children's safety gate convenient if needed) or take a 10 mile drive to Englewood's sandy beaches, or 8 miles to Port Charlotte Center. With new beds and smart TV's in all the bedrooms you will sure to be rested up for your next adventure.

Amazing Vacation Home
We spent 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute. The pool was clean and well kept, a quite neighborhood, close to beaches and fishing areas. Shopping was close both to Englewwod and Port Charlotte. Many restaurants to choose from. I would really rate this high and encourage others to rent.

We had such a great time! The house exceeded our expectations and the host Lauri Lee was very responsive immediately when we had questions.. the house was well equipped with anything you may ever need. I’ll definitely be back next year!

Loved our stay, was able to work from home, lots of walks throughout the neighborhood and felt very safe and comfortable and loved our pool time. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Laurie always replied promptly to a question - specifically regarding coming back! And we will be back! Thank you.

Christmas Get-Away
We had a fantastic time at this home. We had plenty of room, lots of amenities and the area was close to many things. The pool wasn't exactly heated all the time, but the weather was great and we were still able to get in and enjoy our days. Thank you for the great opportunity to have our family all together!

Broken glass and beer bottle on front walkway entrance, beer caps and cigarette butts in backyard and around pool, clumps of hair on pool deck, smelly dirty sponges in kitchen, dirty sinks, dirty throws, dingy towels, slow emptying tub. Still waiting for cleaning fee refund after 12 days.

Awesome escape away
We had a wonderful time at this property with my family! Everything was in a great driving distance. She had everything you need for a great day on the beach! The house was a great set up with plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable! We truly enjoy our stay at this property!

Perfect
This property was perfect. Our family was in town for a baseball tournament with another Dad and son. The set up was perfect. We enjoyed the house and the pool. The homeowner was quick to get back to you if you had an issue. We had the septic back up and the tank needed pumped. The owner got back to us right away and we had it all taken care of within a few hours. The coordination couldn’t have been better. Thank you again for everything. We will stay at this property again if we are ever in the area.

Family Vacation
House was beautiful, very clean and has alot of extras. Garage was full of Beach- pool amenities so we didnt need to go out a purchase them. Cabinet has toys and games/ card games for the kids to do. Very close to nearby beautiful clean beaches. Port Charlotte beach was great for the family, wIth sandbars so the waves didnt knock you down😊. It was a great/ convenience property.

Spacious
We were a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The owner is very attentive if you need to get in contact with her. She has supplied plenty of toys for children,beach chairs, child's swimmer vest and well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and the enjoyment in the pool by the young and old was great and enjoyed by everyone. I would definitely rent again when back in the area.Thanks

Sunny Beach Getaway
We had a wonderful time. House was very clean and well equipped. We were able to use the beach chairs which was a big help since we flew in from out of town and couldn’t bring our own. Location was great. Close to everything.

The kitchen had enough utensils and cookware for cooking and serving. There was plenty of seating for all the adults. The twin in the master was very convenient for my family with young kids. The garage And hallway was full of Tons of toys to play with. Down the road, walking distance, is access to the river which everyone enjoyed going to. The neighborhood is quiet, not a traditional subdivision but still plenty of friendly neighbors. The road is not busy and set away from the corner. My only disappointment in the home, which isn’t the owners fault and that in December the solar heater just doesn’t get the pool warm. We brought wetsuits for the kids but I was hoping to crank up the heat to HOT and be charged accordingly. On the warmer days it would probably be fine for the kids but we are Floridians and a special kind of picky about swimming temps. It was also a record cold Christmas this year. The house isn’t far from publix, dollar store, a few restaurants and not a far drive to the beach which we enjoyed on the warmer days. Overall the house was great and the host was very responsive! I would definitely recommend renting it.

With the home being so close to family & shopping stores it made the stay so easy and comfortable! Kids enjoyed the pool time day & night, while the pool guy was very friendly to all of us & having an audience while he worked! Rooms were very cozy, bathrooms were clean & the rest of the house was spacious for 6 adults & 3 kids!

Very relaxing
We really enjoyed the house we went for a wedding and had a family bbq the space was the perfect size. Relaxing in the pool and spending time with family was awesome. Very few issues but nothing we couldn’t deal with.

COZY, CLEAN, HOME WITH A THOUGHTFUL OWNER
Very impressed with this home! Located on a corner lot with lots of trees and bushes around it for privacy. It was perfect for our two families including 4 adults, 3 young teens and 4 younger children. The floor plan is split with 2 bedrooms and bath on one side and 2 other bedrooms with bath and an extra area for a twin bed. The owner was very thoughtful to have a variety of beach stuff to use and pool toys. She even had extra toys and games in the house stored away to use if needed. Toiletries and various cleaners were available for use as well, even a bin of diapers and wipes! Large televisions in every room and good size screened in pool area. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, Close and Relaxing
This house was as described. The area is quiet, especially at night to lay on the lawn and gaze up at the stars. The house is very spacious with tons of sleeping accommodations. The location is conveniently close to the beach but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owner had everything, including an umbrella and beach chairs for our beach day. Floats and toys for the kids to enjoy the pool, beach towels in case you forgot to bring some, and everything you need to make a meal instead of going out to eat. Myself and my kids enjoyed the stay and will definitely make plans to comeback. Thank you Laurie for giving my kids and I a slice of heaven and sunshine during this pandemic.

Amazing house
We stayed for the weekend and our experience was amazing! the house is even better than the photos... we really enjoyed our weekend! The hot water in the pool was an extra for us! We really want to go back again! Laurie is very receptive and made our lifes easier. I highly recommend this house!

Spacious home in a friendly neighborhood
This is a very well maintained property with many amenities. Smart TV in every room, lovely big pool and pool toys with pool cage, all beach toys imaginable and chairs, umbrella etc. Kitchen is well stocked with all tools necessary to cook and name brand appliances and enough plates and cutlery to serve meals regularly, lots of storage space for groceries. Air conditioning works marvelously. The home is lovingly decorated and has enough beds and seating for many people. The set up is really great for families with children, especially children of different ages - easy to keep an eye on the little ones and do the cooking or have toddlers napping and the older children still having fun without disturbing the nappers. Also enough privacy for the parents to also relax and enjoy. Beds are comfortable and enough to keep everybody separate or together - depending on the preferences. Lots of space to put up travel beds for the babies. This is a wonderful place if you are looking for a logistically and functionally attractive solution.
