Fully remodeled Single Family 5 bedroom Oceanfront home with Hot Tub - Sleeps 13. Nordic Luxury Series Encore HOT TUB- seats 7 ! See Sister property- The Dream Getaway - Property ID 1836002 This Charm Getaway is a two story 5 bedroom single family oceanfront private getaway. Out of the 5 bedrooms - 4 of them have king beds with SPECTACULAR ocean views and deck access. The 5th bedroom is a bunk bed room with 2 Twin over Twin and one pull out trundle. We offer 2 levels of private oceanfront decking, outdoor grill, our door seating, outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area which includes a new Nordic Hot Tub. Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants. We have installed new flooring and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room. The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities. The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views and chaise loungers for relaxing. The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars. We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys. Charcoal Grill and all grilling utensils provided. We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, Keurig and K-cups, hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom - shampoo/conditioner, body wash along with toilet paper and paper towels to get you started. We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow Cats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surf City. The house was right on the ocean. The weather was a bit rainy and cold a few of our days but we just enjoyed the great beach house even more.

Very clean. Nice amenities: you don't have to bring soap (for kitchen, bathrooms, or laundry), hair dryer or any towels. There are plenty of towels. This makes life easy.The beds are made so you can walk or nap right into your vacation. The hot water tank is big enough to accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. That's a big plus. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep at night (and afternoon naps). The hot tub is wonderful! The owner and housekeeping contact are very responsive.
The living room looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is, so it can't really accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. It would be nice to have a table on the deck for meals.
The kitchen doesn't have a pantry, just a few cabinets for groceries. And while I admire that the owner invites us to leave unopened food for the next guests, I think it gives guests an excuse not to remove items that should be disposed of. The cabinets were literally full when we arrived; some of the items were open, some bottles almost empty, and most were items we would never use. Consequently, we had to spend our first hour there removing food (storing it in other rooms or disposing it), to make room for our groceries. This was also the case for refrigerated items.
One way to make more room for groceries is to cull through and remove many of the multiple pots and pans that are stored underneath the counter tops (and remove the big ice machine that sits on the limited counter space).

We had an extended stay at this wonderful oceanfront home and it was awesome! The home had everything you could need or want to make your stay feel just like you are at home but with the most amazing views! The amenities are the best.
This home is in the perfect location, close to all things Surf City and only a short drive over the bridge to even more restaurants and stores.
A highly recommend this home! The owners and property manager are wonderful and attentive to anything you need while at the property. Quick response and so friendly!

Well appointed, updated, and spotless! We have stayed in many homes on Topsail Island over the last 20 years and this is right at the top of our list! We definitely hope to return soon.

2023 has been a tough year, but this VRBO was exactly what we needed. 4 bedrooms face the ocean with bunk beds in the 5th. We only had 4 of us, but our girls loved exploring the house and the beach. Sunrises are perfect, but evening brings the stars, including the milky way. The home could not have been more perfect for us. We hope to be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay. I loved the location of the property. It was private but also close to restaurants and shops. The house came with all the beach gear we needed. My husband and nephews enjoyed surfing every day. ( We brought our surfboards). We enjoyed the wonderful decks.

The property is great. The day we arrived was very windy, which made unlocking the door using a code more difficult. And that concludes the complaints section of this review.
Every aspect of the stay was wonderful. There are two nearby beach accesses, just far enough away that nobody sets up in front of the house. On weekdays it was almost like a private beach at times. The surf was very calm and blue during our stay, reminiscent of the Caribbean.

This was a fantastic home right on the beach. The beach was beautiful- white sand and turquoise water. This was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. They had all the beach gear you would need. A special touch was a bottle of white wine waiting for us. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. I would love to come back to this house next summer.

The description & photos were accurate…this was a fantastic home. It’s on a very quiet stretch of the beach and we loved it! Far enough away from the main Surf City shops to be quiet but not so far that you can’t quickly get to restaurants, etc. The owner and manager communicated easily & efficiently, the house is beautifully maintained and nicely decorated, very comfy and lots of amenities you don’t see at most places. The views and the chairs on both upstairs and downstairs decks were perfect. We loved it and would rent here again. Thank you!

We chose this beach home for a very special family trip and our list of must haves was long to say the least. This beautiful home not only provided everything we needed but it exceeded our expectations. Every detail from the cups in the cabinets to the selection of window coverings is obviously chosen with thoughtfulness and the guest's comfort in mind. Every room from inside to out was perfect. We loved it and are are already planning our next stay.

The oceanfront location cannot be beat. The bulk of the interior has been refurbished and the owners put a lot of thoguht into stocking the home for guests (ex. Kcups, spices, shampoo, plenty of beach towels, etc.). We will visit again!

We are local to the area, had a septic issue (eek), and needed a place to stay while the repairs were made. We had to extend our stay, and since the home was available (lucky us), We were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful quiet town of Surf City. This home had terrific ocean views, and it was nice to utilize the hot tub after a long day. It was even stocked full of games which were fun sitting down with our busy teens for some quality time. Communication with the property manager was excellent; this home was clean and conveniently located. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent Thanksgiving at Charm Getaway, and really enjoyed it. The view is beautiful, the hot tub is great, and the kitchen, though small, is really well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, good knives, and lots of spices. The manager responded immediately to our needs, and the owner was very helpful, as well. I would suggest some more seating, though. Thanks for a great time!

Such a great place to relax and ring in my 40th birthday with family! The house was a great lay out, very clean, and well stocked. Would definitely rent again! Between the gorgeous sunrise, the private beach, and tons of shells…we really couldn’t have asked for more.

We enjoyed our stay here in November. The house has an amazing ocean view from all the bedrooms. The beds and sheets were so comfortable and the house was equipped with everything that we could need. All appliances were top notch and the communication with the property manager was quick and very helpful. We highly recommend this property. SurfCity was a great visit for us and this home was just perfect. Everything was clean, comfortable and well decorated. There was even a yoga mat. The hot tub was a beautiful touch and there were plenty of towels and beach chairs. We especially loved the decks and daily beach walks.

This is the second year we have stayed at this awesome beach house and we hope to come back for many more years. The location is fantastic and the house is large with all the amenities you would ever want. The house was clean bright and we had a great time.

This house sits directly on the beach with great access. Lots of king bedrooms with disproportionate living space. The images make the sitting area look larger than it actually is. The owner is very responsive but the host is slightly less so. The cleanliness was less than we expected. The ocean view and access are incredible.

This was our second year in a row renting this house for Labor Day weekend (3 nights). The house is gorgeous with an impeccable ocean view. Everything was immaculate in the house at check-in and the property manager, Christine, made the check-in process as easy as can be. We were able to check in a few hours early. Christine texts you the day of arrival and ensures you have everything you need throughout the stay. She even brought over some things we needed throughout the weekend. The house is gorgeous and in a really great area. The beach was pretty quaint so it almost feels like a private beach home. My only complaint is that they have a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill and it was hard to light with the wind, etc. I guess I am just partial and used to a gas grill :). We will definitely rent again next year!

This was our second stay at this home and it was just as great as the first time. The home is so well appointed and just so comfortable you literally just need to bring yourself, clothes and bathing suit and you’re set.
The views from both decks are amazing and proximity to the beach is just steps away.
We will continue to book this house each year.

This property is clean, updated, and well stocked! The beach was not crowded and right off the deck. We had a very positive experience with the property manager. The cable went out due to a storm and she had the repair company out within about two hours!! While it’s not a huge deal, it should be noted that this house is right on a fairly busy road. Overall, we would highly recommend Charm Getaway!

Home was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our extended family comfortably. Everything was as pictured in the listing. Every room had nice smart tvs except bunk bed room. Property manager was extremely helpful and responsive.

Great beach house that offered fantastic amenities (including boogie boards!). The house comfortably accommodated twelve of us. Loved that 3 of the 4 bedrooms on the first level had their own access to the lower deck. Getting to the beach was easy, and the ocean was incredible. Property manager was prompt. We definitely recommend!
