This cabin is all about the views. Wow, are they gorgeous. The back of the cabin is floor to ceiling glass and the roof pitches up so you have unobstructed views of the Smokies from your high vantage point up in the hills. The Cobbly Nob area is quiet but it is about 15-20 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, so if you want to be in the heart of it all, this is not the cabin for you. But if you don't mind driving a bit to things, and love peacefulness and views, then it's perfect. I am picky with cleanliness and I would say that the cabin met my expectations - not exceeded them. I noticed dust and a few bugs underneath rugs when we moved them to sweep up some crumbs my boys left on the floor. There were a few critters (mostly centipedes) here and there but I think that comes with being in the mountains. My biggest issue was with the beds. The linens were scratchy and didn't feel 100% clean (please invest in higher quality, smooth linens). Also the mattress and pillows did not have protectors on them - it was just the mattress and the sheets and the pillow and the pillow cover. Again this would be fine for most people, but given the amount of people that stay here I would invest in protectors to prevent bed bugs, etc. This grossed me out a bit. Also, it felt like they didn't wash the comforter between stays. I don't know for sure that they didn't clean it, but it was huge and wouldn't fit in the washing machine, so I assume that they don't take it out to be cleaned b/w visits. The extra blankets available didn't seem 100% clean either. Other than that, the cabin was tidy. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked in it several times. Laundry was great. Grill and hot tub were great. The one thing that irked me was when we arrived there was an envelope for a tip for the cleaning person. The cleaning fee was included in our stay. Would we stay here again? Yes. Would give it 5 stars were it not for the linens on the beds. Only thing to improve upon IMO.

We enjoyed our late-July week at Peak A View cabin. We had a great view of the park. Location was nice and quiet outside of Gatlinburg but still good access to newfound gap road (main entrance). property was well-maintained and had everything we needed. it was just 2 of us but would also work great for group of 4.

The 6 roommates from college get together for an awesome experience and the cabin was not a letdown. Funny to get a bunch of city folk being amazed with the scenery and seclusion. Even the drive up was an experience in a 15 passenger van. Alot of nervous giggling and gasps as we navigated the tight turns. Man it was a good time. This is the 2nd time I used Elk Springs Resort and both times I've been very pleased.

From the moment we stepped into the cabin we felt at home. The view is beyond spectacular. Everything felt like a luxury from the showers to the beds. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed to cook. The outside campfire was a great way to end the evening. Bring firewood. We loved our time at the cabin and plan on returning next year.

This cabin is quite an experience when you first walk in and see that amazing mountain view. It's breathtakingly beautiful. We spent as much time as we could on the deck soaking it in. The cabin was clean, kitchen had everything you need and the fire pit area was a perfect end to an evening. You do need to bring your own fire wood. There are a few local marts to stock up on wood and basic food items. The cabin is 15 minutes away from the strip of things to do (i.e. sky bridge, anakeesta, etc.). Staff were extremely helpful and available (responded quickly to texts). There is a stretch of uphill roads to get to this cabin but there is a flat driveway to park once you get there. Caught a glimpse of a bear on the way down on day 1. Overall, highly recommend! Hope to get back to this one!

We have been coming back to Elk Springs Resorts for 9 years now. Every year we rent a different cabin. Peak a View cabin is by far our most favorite of them all. Beautiful cabin, layout was very well done and was well maintained. Beautiful views, we had one morning we took a postcard perfect picture of a beautiful smokey mountain sunrise, more than just gorgeous. We also had gorgeous weather. Definitely will be a cabin we will come back to and would recommend it to anyone. We had one maintenance issue with the hot tub when we first arrived. After we called them their crew arrived in a very timely manner about 1 1/2 hours later to fix the problem, no further problems occurred. It was our anniversary the week we were there and we went to The Greenbriar Restaurant for supper, little pricey but exceptionally good food and of course we had to visit Sugarlands and Old Smokies to taste their new flavors of moonshine.We usually come mid September but would like to visit late October early November to see the leaves in full color. We love to come back to the mountains to relax.

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. It is always difficult to leave this cabin, but we look forward to staying here again. This cabin has the best views of the Smokies. This is the perfect place to wake up, sit on the balcony, eat breakfast and relax in the view. This makes the windy roads not even matter once you get there and look out. Let me start by saying we've stayed in 15-25 cabins over the years. Some good... some not as good. This cabin ranks in the top few for cleanliness, view, driveway, support from rental company and overall great experience. Our friends from Russia joined us and had a wonderful time. This trip was a little rest and relaxation after a 3 month 46 show tour with the band. It was the perfect place and setting. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property. First thing you see when you open the front door is a 2 story wall of windows with an amazing view of the mountains. Feels like you're at cloud level. Spa-like bathrooms. Coffee on the deck with that view, so peaceful. We saw bear out for a stroll on multiple occasions as we wound our way up the mountain road leading to the cabin. Would absolutely stay in this cabin again.

WOW! From the moment we walked in we were in absolute awe of the view. This cabin exceeded our expectations. The kitchen has everything you need with top end appliances. The beds were super comfy and having a laundry room came in handy. The hot tub on the deck was an awesome way to end the day. Stargazing in the evenings was amazing and starting our days with coffee on the deck was wonderful. If we ever make it back to this beautiful area, we would definitely stay here again. And if we were to come with a bigger group and needed a bigger cabin, we would definitely go through Elk Springs Resort again. Customer Service was top notch. Thank you Elk Springs for an amazing stay. We hope to be back sometime in the future.

My wife and I stay in places like this 2-3 times a year and to find one like this is a gem. Clean, new and that view was amazing. Instructions were clear and they even sent a text when some bad weather blew thru the area. Some suggestions:Better TP. I understand management costs, but we ended up buying our own.The TV in the living room, being very high up over the fireplace, really needs a soundbar.The pool table is always a lot of fun. But there needs to be more chalk (there was only one piece!) and the table is slanted to the right when you're looking at it from the top of the stairs. There should be things you can adjust in the feet to raise just that side of the table.

We arrived early, but were pleasantly surprised to find the property was already clean and ready for use! Had the kids and grandkids with us. 25 minutes or so from the downtown Gatlinburg area. Everything was in good working order. Management touched base with us just to make sure we were satisfied, but were not at all intrusive. Would definitely stay in this, or a similar property again.

Upon entering the cabin you are greeted with a wall of glass that reveals a glorious view of the mountains. Sunset and sunrises were just spectacular. The cabin was very clean and immaculately kept. The driveway was a bit fun getting up the first time, but became old hat after a few times. We were remote enough that we saw and heard wildlife every night. Exceptional place to stay.

This was probably the best vacation rental we have ever used. The pictures do not do this home justice. The view from the back deck is truly incredible. The home itself was clean and very well cared for. The home is located about 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The privacy and distance from town make this home that much better. Elk Springs was wonderful they checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and made the process seamless. We will definitely be back!!

Loved Peak A View cabin with one exception. The air could only be set no lower than 70 degrees per cabin guidelines. It was warm at night in the cabin and we would have liked to have been able to adjust the thermostat so we could sleep comfortably. Will have to rethink visiting in the warmer months or choose a cabin with a thermostat that can be adjusted for comfort. Other than the air issue, our cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay!

Description of the location and layout were accurate. As mentioned by numerous reviews, the road to the cabin and driveway are a bit dicey. Not very friendly for larger vehicles. There were a few issues that we ran into during our stay BUT please note, has nothing to do with the property but with the property managers that we had dealt with during our short stay. First, we were given the wrong door lock code and couldn't reach anyone in the office. It was a good thing maintenance had arrived to make repairs to the hot tub. He was able to get a hold of someone in the office to get the correct code. Very professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and property. That evening we noticed the propane tank for the grill was empty. Informed management who said they'd have someone drop a new tank off, but, no one ever came. There were told that there was a burn ban in effect so we weren't able to use the fire pit. There were a few stains on the leather furniture and crumbs in the kitchen but for the most part the property was well maintained and clean.Aside for the hiccups, we had an amazing time! The view is just gorgeous and breath-taking! Loved waking up to the large picturesque windows! Cabin was beautifully decorated and welcoming. Kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Shops and local eateries are nearby if you should forget anything. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and visited the scenic Gatlinburg Sky Bridge while in TN. An attraction to add to your bucket list! We also got to see a mama bear and her two baby cubs on our last day at the cabin. The memories we had created with our children at the cabin are priceless. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends.

Kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Shops and local eateries are nearby if you should forget anything. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and visited the scenic Gatlinburg Sky Bridge while in TN. An attraction to add to your bucket list! We also got to see a mama bear and her two baby cubs on our last day at the cabin. The memories we had created with our children at the cabin are priceless. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends.

Although we had issues checking in and had trouble getting the resort company on the phone to fix our code, that would never take away from the amazing experience we had! The view is breathtaking and likely one of the best available. The cabin was gorgeous, clean, and everything seemed new! It was very relaxing, and we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. We saw a bear family twice roaming around the property up close which was such a cool experience we haven’t had in our trips to TN before. I’d recommend this rental to anyone!
