About this house rental
This home we affectionately call the Farmhouse offers new...well new everything! Sergeant Bluff is close to everything, Tyson Event Center, Casinos, Gold, snow tubing hill and much more! This property offers an oversized garage perfect for staging your next construction project in the Siouxland area as well as a huge rhubarb patch if that tickles your fancy. Thelander Properties LLC strives hard to exceed your expectations, we want to earn your business!
This completely remodeled home is offered to our valued guests for your short term housing needs. The home is pleasantly furnished with new kitchen and appliances, new washer and dryer, water softener and new beds so comfortable you may not want to leave! The home offers a front porch just like Grandpa and Grandma used to sit on and tell lies to each other and an oversized detached garage Grandpa ended up in after he got in trouble! I mentioned the rhubarb patch and hopefully weather permitting we'll polish up on my farming abilities and get a garden planted so you can go pull some weeds for some stress relief, not that you would have any stress after staying in this beautiful home! Ring brand doorbell in use.

The house was very lovely, Loved the open space from kitchen to living room. The kids hung out downstairs while the adults had the upstairs.

We stayed to celebrate the holiday with all of our children and grandchildren. The first weekend we booked got snowed out. Brad was great to work with. He moved our stay

We had 2 families stay here and it was perfect! The upstairs/downstairs allowed us our own spaces but still allowed us to enjoy the stay together! Owner was accomodating and communicative. Easy in and oit location. Garage was nice to host some guests for shaded seating for a cookout.

It was a great fit for our family. The house was very clean and quiet. It was close to our family in Nebraska so we didn’t have to be on top of each other for a week.

The farmhouse was the perfect size to celebrate Christmas with adult children and their families. Brad was easy to deal with, responsive to messages and inquiries, and flexible to meet our needs. We will definitely stay again when we all meet in the Sioux City area.

This home did exactly what we needed it to. I have to say I am a little more accustomed to higher end amenities and was a little disappointed in the quality of finishes. The shower downstairs feels like a temporary set up and was super tiny. Larger men would have trouble showing down there. The two downstairs bedrooms had small windows but I am not sure if the egress was to code? There was no insulation between floors so for the folks staying downstairs it was rather loud when people were getting up for the day. I would highly recommend finishing the home with insulation and drywall. Again, it served its purpose and we would stay again but I would love to see this home completed to code and with nicer amenities/finishes.

There were 9 adults and a toddler and a baby for our family gathering. Only 6 of the adults stayed there. It was a slightly tight squeeze when everyone was there, but it wasn't bad. The kitchen was fairly well stocked.

Staying here was very nice and relaxing. Quiet little neighborhood with grocery store and corner store nearby so able to get what was needed.

We came into town for a college graduation at USD. We enjoyed our stay. We had family ranging in age from 21-86.
The upstairs was perfect.
The only downside was the stairs going to the basement were very steep for some of our group. So, the youngsters stayed downstairs. The old folks were upstairs. We worked it out and really enjoyed our stay!
Kitchen, living room and dining rooms were great! This is where we spent most of our time. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The property was very spacious inside and out. We grilled, had room for the kids to play and we even trick-or-treated in the neighborhood. Brad, was very accommodating to our families needs. We will definitely be back!!

This was a wonderful place to stay, absolutely delightful. We were in town for our son’s wedding and had a lot to do the week before. This property was a wonderful home base for us and made our stay very enjoyable. So many memories were made and all of it without stress about the accommodations. Thank you!!!!
