Couldn’t fault this gem of a find

very comfortable home for the weekend. Plenty of space for the group and a perfect location to commute to our show. The train to Stratford was just a 5 min walk and we travelled cheaply. Local amenities were close too. Hosts were perfect and provided everything we needed, communications were fantastically helpful.

Great location, this is a spacious property with parking, good value for a group or family stay in Chelmsford.

Great location and property was a good size. Compared to other properties in the area it represents good value. Off street parking was convenient. There were some small welcome gifts and a coffee machine which were appreciated too.

Needed a quick clean in some areas when we arrived, particularly the kitchen. This didn’t take long though. Some fixtures need tightening but the host was very understanding regarding this problem and I’m sure it will be fixed soon.

Lovely little house. The garden could do with some more up keep to make child friendly.

Great little house, well equipped kitchen and very clean, just what we needed staying somewhere as a family.

One of the biggest reasons we picked this property while travelling with small children was the garden. However I was disappointed with the state of the garden when we arrived. The grass hadn’t been cut for a while or any garden waste swept up so we spent come time sweeping ourselves and there was a rotting towel on the grass having fallen from the washing line some time before. So the garden wasn’t the safe haven we had hoped for for the children.

the property was really clean and perfect for what we needed as we had a wedding to attend close by; great that there is parking which was adequate for 2 cars even though only 1 is advertised.

the garden backs on to the main road which is very noisy which didn’t affect us but may have done if we had planned to stay in the garden more.

Lovely place to stay!!

Everything. Felt like a home from home! Rooms were warm and comfy. Kitchen/diner nice and spacious. I stayed with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding. Plenty of space for us to get ready and not be on top of each other.

The only negative was that there were a lack of bins in property. Just a small bin upstairs/in the bathroom would have made this perfect.

Immaculate house with garden,

Lovely little touches.. nice decor, nice wall art, vibrant and modern, perfectly clean and well maintained. We appreciated the kindness of the owner, leaving bread, cereal milk etc for us. Lovely little garden, v close to center of Chelmsford where there is great shopping and other amenities. Quick and easy to access the property after hours via the key safe box.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great location, comfortable and everything provided that you would want for your stay

Location was excellent. Easy to find and in a side road with very little traffic. Off road parking made our arrival easier and it was a great place to stop if you want to explore Chelmsford and the surrounding area. Plenty of grocery stores within a 5 minute walk that open early every day including Sunday - and even a Sunday market in the Town Centre. Property was comfortable and clean, well furnished and with towels and bed linen included.

Only the British weather, but not much can be done about that!

Very good

All the little touches, for me plenty of tea & coffee, washing up liquid, bin bags, coffee machine, chairs in the back garden. So well presented & clean, beds were really comfy, TV in each bedroom perfect for the kids. It certainly was like home from home. Fantastic location to the train station & town centre. Would happily book there again.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the person who had stayed previously to me didn't clean the saucepans or baking trays properly.... First night their washed up the trays there was a line of grease round of the tray.... I know it wasn't done by me as we had frozen pizza on the first night..... Really scummy.

The Tudors was perfect for us , great location , very clean and Tv’s in all the rooms plenty of kitchen utensils, off street parking on the drive. Home from Home 👍
