Safe location and comfortable room

Nice owner, not the best area, hot room.

The owner is very nice and welcoming. The room was clean. The shower was nice. Bed is comfy. Area is safe.

It is not in a fun area. Do not stay here if you are at all young and want to have fun. Everywhere closes at 8pm, it is a gated community and you need to be let in and out. It is very very quiet and boring. The only thing close to the property is the mall. You have to take an Uber everywhere if you want to go anywhere fun. There is no ac (!!!) and it gets up to 30 degrees during the day so it is always hot in the room. There is very little privacy as the bedrooms are all of a common room/kitchen and the windows are open for “air”…. The same windows are in the bathroom with no screens so mosquitoes get in. I got a lot of mosquitoes bites because I forgot to close the bathroom door. I had a very hard time sleeping both nights. There is a large window with a screen but there’s a street light that shines right into the room (room 4) so you have your pull down the blind to keep the light out but then there is no air flow and the room is so stuffy and hot I could not sleep. They provide you with a very small fan that doesn’t really do anything. From being bitten by mosquitoes and being too hot to sleep or hang out in the room during the day, with not much to do around you … I would not stay here again. I can’t understand how anyone can sleep with no ac in a hot stuffy room. Next time I come to Guatemala City, I will stay in zone 4 as zone 10 is very boring and overpriced. Nothing to do with the property but just FYI.

Me encanta casa mesa

Todo, excelente ubicación, excelentes anfitriones, lugar cómodo, Caba muy comida y almohadas, súper limpio, la regadera excelente, áreas comunes lindas y funcionales, tiene parking privado, excelente internet, queda cerca súper, centros comerciales , panadería, tienda, comida típica también y hasta mercado está cerca!

Las ventanas al exterior podrían tal vez hacerlas de otra forma, en temporada fría entra tidi el frío exterior y no hay cosas no cerrar, por la forma como están hechas.

Again, wonderful owners, but I wouldn’t return.

Wonderful owners - husband and wife. Common areas good.

However, this is NOT an apartment as advertised! Room and bathroom could use a DEEP cleaning. Bathroom only half clean. Walls a bit dingy. Barking dog in the early am and noise from other guest with children in the common area kitchen/living room was a bit annoying. House is located a few blocks away from the entrance/security gate.

Excellent!

The room was cleaned and the bed made up on a daily basis. The lobby area is huge with a sofa, dining table and a kitchen. The host provided us with sufficient advice to navigate around the city. All the information was provided on a laminated card. There is a huge mall, a market and loads of restaurants around. We used uber to get around.

Due to security reasons this place is situated inside a community area with manned security gates at the entrances, as is the case in most of the "safe" zones in GC. As the guards shift changes we need to prove each time the reason for entering and the location of stay, gets a bit tiring when you don't speak spanish.

Perfecto!

El recibimiento que nos dieron por parte de los dueños fué excelente, las instalaciones también, el cuarto muy bonito, tiene una cocina muy grande y con todo equipado, por lo que está muy completo para cocinar.

Quizás la única parte que es para mejora es que el baño no tenía suficiente jabón y shampoo y costaba que saliera.

Incorrect description - NOT one bedroom apartment... 4 bedrooms sharing the living room/kitchen. Unlucky rainy afternoon, one couple just sitting on the sofa talking mobile loudly (no sound proof at all), we just had to sit on bed... The next morning the other family with children started making breakfast and singing at 7:20am. Impossible to sleep.. Booking.com description - ONE bedroom apartment, ENTIRE apartment, privacy of the whole apartment...

Excellent hotel and excellent owner

I booked for a family member and his friend. Was not able to prepay so called the hotel. The owner excepted me to do a bank transfer. she received the funds after my family member had left. This was something beyond our expectation.

Very nice and clean, good safe neighborhood and near to the airport so ideal for getting a flat ght the next day

Was a bit confusing to find, but someone led me to the door. Refer to photo of the street name on here and ring bell on grey garage door for entry. If you get an Uber you have to walk to the other side of the security gate as the security around the area don't let cars in or is blocked

Location. Kitchen facilities. The staff were attentive and helpful and easy to communicate with.We appreciated the no credit card surcharge.

No hot water in ANY SINK, kitchen or bathroom. There was hot shower in the shower but difficult to maneuver. (No sound proof in rooms.
